Introduction
In the present era of mobile generation, a significant section of the population is solely
dependent on Smartphones. The primary concern of any business is to earn customer loyalty, and
this can only be achieved by reaching out to their target customers in the easier ways. The mobile
applications can provide the customers with detailed information regarding the services it offers
to its customers. Mobile platforms can potentially enhance the customer engagement program,
service quality and support system, online promotion as well as online sales (Baharuddin, Singh
and Razali 2013). This report mainly discusses a UK based architecture company named as LSI
Architects. The company was established in the year 2002. The LSI architects mainly operate in
the London and Norwich. The company is known to have 60 employees comprising the
architects, support staffs as well as the technologists (LSI Architects, 2018). The report
highlights how the incorporation of the mobile application can enhance the business proceeding
of the LSI architects.
How mobile applications can enhance the business of LSI architects
The main aim of the LSI architects is to present their clients with an innovative, valuable
and sustainable design for their better living. The LSI possesses different categories of clients
such as contractors for public and commercial sectors as well as interior designing for the
homemakers. In the past years, it was observed from their client's feedback that LSI architects
always deal with their projects in professional as well as collaborative manner. They are known
to have well-trained employees who continually deliver quality and efficient designs. As per the
reports, the significant turnover of ÂŁ3.5m mainly comes from their repetitive business and the

framework commission and the for the quality services they provide in the market (LSI
Architects, 2018).
Considering the case of LSI architects, it can be said that the incorporation of the LSI
mobile applications could improve their business. The mobile application could add more value
to their target customers. The application would provide the clients with a vivid description of
the types of projects that the LSI architects did in the past year. Apart from the project
description, the mobile application will create more interactions between the customers and the
organisation (Burton and Felker 2015). An android, as well as an Ios application for the
company, will also help the LSI architects to create a stronger brand image in the market. The
company's app will reflect how the LSI architects functions, their quality architects and awards
won how the business expanded as well as it will enable the customers to avail the services
online. In the present date, nearly 2.6 billion individuals possess high-powered Smartphones
(Hoehle and Venkatesh 2015). Thus creating an online platform will help the LSI to connect with
their customers more efficiently. Other than this, such applications can also improve the
customer service as the apps will be accessible to the customers 24x7. On combining the above
factors, it can be said that if LSI architects opt for mobile applications it can boost their profit
scales also the company will also have an immense scope of earning as it application gets
popular (Ghose and Han 2014). More and more people downloads or visits the LSI application,
the company can earn more revenue.
Features that the LSI architects mobile application should incorporate

developing the architecture, cost estimation based on the location and area per square feet
(Ma, Gu and Wang 2014). All such information should be available in the mobile
application a search option would allow the customer to search for their queries (Gao et
al. 2014).
ď‚· Images and videos - Images and videos will make the mobile application informative.
Images regarding the completed projects, some videos related to the sample design can
give the customers an idea of the quality and innovation of the design (Aung and Zaw
2013). Other than this, images of the LSI architect's office, the logo will provide the
customers with a better understanding of the types of architectural models that the
company can provide.
ď‚· Description - It is essential that the customer gets a detailed description regarding the
process of delivering the service. It is observed that more customers tend to gain
information from mobile as well as website applications rather than visiting the company
office (Sandberg and Rollins 2013). The LSI architect delivers the project in steps. At
first, the plot is checked, the customer requirements are considered, then their group of
architects design the plan and produces the draft to the customers. The description section
will provide the customers with detailed knowledge of these operations.
ď‚· Customer Support - This section of the LSI mobile application would enable the
customers to get easily connected with the customer support stuff of LSI architects
(Bharadwaj et al. 2013). The customer can directly text the queries in the contact number
provided in the application. The application will generate the answers instantly.

in mind the varieties of customers. Simper content and easy understanding of the
application is necessary to increase the customer base (Vogel 2013).

customers. The section will consist of the reviews of their previous customers. The
reviews will create transparency regarding the service of LSI architects. In the process,
this can help in gaining customer loyalty.

app can provide the customers with the idea of the costs for their requirements. It will
also enable the client to pre-book their service online.
Recommendations
In the context of the LSI architects, it is highly recommendable that the features of the
application must include a section for description regarding the company. A section for that
would answer the customer queries instantly, a section regarding the contact information
regarding the various office locations, a feedback section, online booking for the service (Gronli
et al. 2014). It is recommended that the application is designed by keeping in mind their target
customers. The target customers of LSI architects mainly include contractors or the individuals
who are intending to design the architecture of their home with the help of LSI architects. It is
necessary to design the application in such a manner that it supports different platforms so that it

can enhance the customer base. Performance of the app, battery life, peripherals required should
be kept in mind while designing the application (Serrano, Hernantes and Gallardo 2013). An
appropriate application should be chosen for them to generate revenue. The recommended
approaches are pay per download, app advertisements and subscriptions (Barnett, Vasa and
Grundy 2015). Other than this, it is recommended to incorporate proper analytical tools in the
application this would enable the LSI to monitor the number of visitors and using their
application and the duration of visits. Some of the recommended analytical tools are Google
analytics, flurry, Mixpanel and predictive analytics (Xanthopoulos and Xinogalos 2013). Apart
from this, it is highly recommendable that beta testing is done. This will, in turn, will enable the
company to analyse the feedback of their target customers. Other recommendations for the LSI
architects mobile application includes sample designs, completed designs that could be
incorporated into the app so thus giving the customers a chance to explore the works of LSI
architects. The Company could incorporate customer loyalty offers such as booking service
through the mobile application can help them earn discount vouchers for home furnishing stuff.
