INTRODUCTION
5G technology is the new generation technology addition in the broadband cellular
networks which is the successor of the 4G network. The new technology has higher bandwidth
which helps in connecting with the large number of devices and provide customers with high
streaming and downloading speed (Dangi, and et.al., 2021).
The report will discuss the emergence if the 5G technology I he World. It also
emphasized on the importance of the 5G technology and how it was developed. Further, the
report will specify about the 5Gtechnology and its uses., it will also present the technological
platforms and software used by the 5G technology. The report will discuss the type of businesses
and organization which uses the 5G technology and how it is an effective tool for the businesses.
Lastly, it will discuss what is the relationship between the 5G technology , digital
technology and the old and updated theories which are used in structuring and practising of the
business and management.
MAIN BODY.
a. The 5G technology is the emergence of innovative technology in the wireless
technology with increase in the speed and data connectivity of the cellular networks. It had
contributed $12.4 trillion of the economic output globally and supported millions of jobs
worldwide. The %G technology is important because it improved the accessibility of the vehicles
by updating them and providing the customers with the automated and new level of personal
satisfaction. With the help of 5G, the reach of the broadband had extended. It improved the speed
and the bandwidth and helped in innovating new 3D holograms, augmented reality and virtual. It
helped in easily and quick connecting of the people worldwide (Hoeschele, and et.al., 2021).
In the current era of COVID – 19, the 5G technology has contributed by providing the
students and teachers with the accessibility of networks and making it easier for the students to
learn and study hassle free and avoid any network issues.
b. The 5G technology was developed in the South Korea by using the Samsung, Nokia
and Ericsson as the base stations. The development of the technology is introduced in the 2015
white paper which was published by The Next Generation Mobile Networks. With the
continuous evaluation of the technology ,it kicked out in the year 2015 to bring the leadership in
the commercialization of 5G network. Till the year 2020, more than 1 billion people have
adopted the 5G network.

c. The 5G technology is the fifth generation of technology in the world of cellular
networks. It provides lower latency, high speed and more capacity as compared to the 4G LTE
cellular network. This is the robust and the fastest technology in the world till now. The 5G
network provides the customers with the high speed in the transmission of data and information
at the speed of multi gigabit (Adebusola, and et.al., 2020,). The 5G tech is based on the
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing. 5G uses bandwidth technologies which includes
mm Wave and sub – 6GHz. The technology resulted into expansion of the use of resources of
Spectrum with the limit of sub 3GHz to 100GHz.
The 5G technology is used in transforming digitally the nations worldwide. It is used to
provide broadband services in the rural and urban areas, with the help of low latency
communication enable the communication easily. It is used to stream the high quality videos and
movies and develop a communication in the IoT environment(Ullah, and et.al., 2019). This helps
in tracking the locations accurately and providing with the real time analysis of the data and
information.
d. There are various technologies and software used by the 5G technology to make it
easier and quicker for the people to surf the internet. The technologies include mm Wave that is
the Millimetre Wave Technology, this help in reducing the network latency and providing higher
throughput of the network. The mm Wave helped in reducing the overhead cost. It provides the
customers with grater frequency bandwidth which increases the capacity of network throughput.
Full duplex technology helps in reducing the usage of radio frequency directly to the half and
doubling the connections on the cell towers (Pawlak, Krawiec, and Żurek, 2019). MIMO that is
Multiple Input Multiple output is another technology used by the 5G technology which use
various antennas attached with the 2D phased array. The system is attached to the station at the
base and helps in controlling and reception of the transmission of radio signal.
The software used in the 5G technology is OFDM that is Orthogonal Frequency Division
Multiplexing which is used for encoding.
e. The 5G technology is beneficial to all the types of businesses and organizations. The
industries and businesses at the global level require the technology to interact with the business
partners, employees and customers and it also helps in transferring the data and applications at
higher speeds for the conduct of operations and activities (Alhuseini, and Olama, 2019). It helps
in providing reliability and support of the businesses by offering cloud storage systems. It results

in improvement of the operational risk and productivity of the businesses such as transport,
mining and utilities services. The 5G technology is also beneficial for the institutions and the
organization for conducting lectures or online classes. It provides both the teachers and students

the network had eased the transformation of businesses and the individual lives. Digitalization
