The main objective of this project plan is to understand diverse aspects of project
management which is considered by Telstra as they are working on the development of the
next generation wireless cellular technology (Telstra, 2019). This project plan will be a
formal document and it will be considering each of the factors which plays a noteworthy role
regarding the successful completion of the project like the maintenance of the work
breakdown structure and identification of the key milestones involves in this project along
with the deliverables of this project. The initiation of this project may start in an systematized
manner using this project plan document. The significance of training schedules and
maintaining the cost baseline will be reviewed in this project plan document.
Details about the business provided
There are diverse categories of challenges and limitations associated with the
deployment of 4G services in terms of the deployment of complex set of hardware which was
a huge source of concern for the management team of this telecommunication organization
who is also enlisted in the Australian Stock Exchange. The power usage of 4G was the other
source of concern for this organization (Hu, 2016). The wants and requirements of the
consumers of these telecommunication industry keeps on changing every moment which is
one of the main reason behind the urgent need of an optimised cellular network which will be
addressing the issues created by 4G.
Overview of the project
Research development of the 5G services has taken pace in this commercial
establishment over the last two years. This telecommunication project will be very much
significant for this organization as most of the rival organizations are also making huge

investment on 5G services. This next level project requires the involvement of the diverse
categories of stakeholders like service providers, investors, government officials, ICT

Identification of the key milestones and deliverables of the project
There are diverse categories of milestone which are involved in this particular project
in terms of the initiation phase, planning section, execution phase and project closure phase.
Since this project is based entirely on the advanced research procedures thus, it can be said
that the entire procedure of each of this milestone (Pearce, 2016). Each of these milestones
has to be managed in the first place so that the completion of the project completes within the
scheduled timeline.
The prime deliverable of this project is delivering an optimised wireless
telecommunication cellular network. The prime objective of the team members is to mitigate
the limitations of 4G services as it was a huge concern for the consumers of the
telecommunication industry (Ge et al., 2017). The efficiency of this new technology must be
on the higher side in terms of both resolution as well as management of the broadcasting data.
Most of the interruption of 4G has to be minimised in the new technology.

there are four prime chapters in this project which has to managed in the first place using
strategic planners and each of the strategies has to be accepted by the head of the project
manager so that security is maintained for each of the stakeholder involved in this advance
project where billions of dollars are involved (Jayawardena et al, 2016). The planning of this
project will be involving detailed understanding the limitations of the previous wireless
