Human beings tend to be at the best of self when they there is full control of behavior by
them and they are accountable for every action. The balance between gaining the desirable
outcome with care about the habits an individual develops for producing the results signifies
effectiveness of that individual. It has been illustrated by Stephen R. Covey that the effectiveness
deals with being effective whenever there is attainment of goals through an alignment with
themselves that is based on character ethics showcased by them in individually and timelessly.
Every individual wants to be proactive and for being that there are some habits that needs to be
developed in day to day lifestyle (Covey, 2015.) The seven behaviors or habits of people who are
highly effective are as follows:
Being Proactive: Every individual needs to be in full charge. There is a script for
everyone and individuals choose to live according to that. The script is made by
individuals only and not anyone else. This is an act of self-awareness that is
supposed to get used for taking responsibility for choices made and be proactive
in life (McGowan, 2016.) The human mind is a powerful place and it builds
everything on the thoughts fed. One of the best way to be proactive is feed good
thoughts to the mind. Thinking that there is a problem in itself is an issue. To
make the mind proactive, productive thoughts need to be filled.
Thinking to start from the end: Every individual should start with a clear
destination inside mind. Imagination is a powerful tool that can be used for
developing visions. An individual shall develop a vision about how they want to
be and use that conscience for deciding the values required for developing which
will act as guidance for future. Human beings go after doing things in a race
which no one is even aware of. This not only makes things artificial but also

Habits are developed when practiced daily. A sense of strong will power is
required to be on track whenever there is a feeling of laziness. A human shall act
according to values than impulses (Pruzan et al. 2017.)
Developing Positive Thinking: In order to establish effective and independe3nt
relationships, an individual must be committed towards creating or developing
situations that are win-win for both of the party. There must be a mutual
satisfaction and beneficial substance for both. A mindset where both person wins
in very important for being an effective person in life. For example, when a
person only thinks for themselves they think in order to win, the other person has
to loose. This creates a sense of competition in a negative approach and puts
negative impact on relationships.
Seek first to Understand Than to be Understood: Whenever there is situation
of offering suggestions, solutions or interact in an effective way with the other
person, an individual first should understand deeply what the other person is
saying rather than speaking first. Listening emphatically is a great tool and step
toward being an effective human. It helps human beings develop and maintain
relationships. Everyone spent years in learning how to read, write and speak but
wastes the conscious energy of human beings for producing productive activities
