Introduction
The CHD or County Health Department needs to install new technologies or devices like the
implementation of EPM, implementation of new informatics systems for the easy
communication of the information and the major breakdowns and disease can be prevented
on time in a timely manner. For this CHD has assigned a project team to complete this
project. There is a communication plan which is adopted for the betterment of the project.
This plan is just adopted not yet implemented. This report will review the communication
plan, compare it with the best practices of project management and also if there should be
some changes in the communication plan, a new communication plan should be developed
and justified at the end of this report.
Report on the current communication Plan
The adopted communication plan is created by the project manager. This plan comprises all
the key stakeholders that are involved in this task with their particular issues. In addition to
that, the key message is generated for the entire stakeholder for communication. The
communication method which is used is mostly, E-mail, telephoning and teleconferencing
and most important meetings. Also for the key messages, the level of communication is
described also timing issues are there that are mostly based on the project schedule.
Basically, the adopted plan is good to go, but on some point, some changes can be adopted on
the table for the betterment of the communication plan. All key stakeholder are provided with
the same key messages to communicate between them, this key message can be altered with
the specification or specified key message for each stakeholder. Sponsor only need to know
the milestones achievement and project progress, it is better to communicate only that thing
with that stakeholder. Also, there’s no need for communication with news and media on
email and telephoning basis to communicate the benefits of the project. By thinking on these
points the communication plan can be better for the communication of the messages between
the stakeholders and conduct meeting properly for the follow-up.

transforming information which is related to the medical, patient or major disease or a

will show how the case scenario is related to the communication plan and satisfies the best
project management practices.
