INTRODUCTION
Culture directs and guides the way of thinking and behaviour of the individual. It includes
five elements such as rituals, values, symbols, beliefs and through processes. This
assignment includes the general understanding and suggestions about the cultural values of
Geert Hofstede influencing the business. Nowadays the organization that expands in
different countries requires adjusting to different environments. The business environment
is impacted by the four cultural dimensions as found by Hofstede. The organization support
diversity of the people in various countries so as to cater to diverse customers. There is
difference in the organizational culture and national culture.
The cultural dimension theory is strong to certain extent as it explores the main cultural
aspects of the organizations as well as people working in contemporary business. There is
difference between the individual values and organizational values as it is developed by
shared understanding for expected behaviour. This assignment presents the critical
evaluation on the suggestion made regarding the cultural dimensions of Hofstede. It also
includes the agreements and disagreements regarding the same. At last, some suggestions
are presented in support with the cultural dimensions of Hofstede.
