Organization: A non-profit organization chosen is “Motivation Australia” which is an NGO in
Australia. The NGO is already having a website at https://www.motivation.org.au/ for the visitors to
know about the NGO and its projects. The website can also be used to donate to the NGO. But in
today’s digital and fast world, people prefer and want to perform all of their tasks from their mobile
devices. Therefore, in order to reach a large number of volunteers and donors, there is a great need
for a mobile application for the NGO. Using the mobile application, NGO can get more donation from
people all around the world and application will also facilitate as a communication platform for all
the volunteers, staff members, authorities, partners and other people which are part or partner of
NGO. The mobile application will prove as an easy, simple, and efficient platform to operate and
access, which will connect all the entities and partners which in some way or the other, connected
with the NGO.
Process: The mobile application will be developed for the Android mobile platform. Android is
chosen because of its large user base. The process for development of an Android application will
involve documentation, design, development and testing phases of application. The documentation
phase will document all the tasks of the NGO which can be efficiently and effectively performed by
the use of Android application. It will also document the problems, NGO is facing. The design phase
involves designing the major components and process (sort of blueprint). The design of the Android
application will greatly help in the development process. The development phase involves
development tasks of an Android application for the NGO and the testing phase involves testing of
different features of the Android application. This android application will solely belong to the NGO
“Motivation Australia”. This free application increases the availability of the NGO socially and also
increase the donations for the NGO. It also helps NGO manage all its resources, assets, projects,
volunteers, partners, etc. effectively and efficiently across the globe. It can be used to add volunteers

for the NGO in just a few clicks. Android application will provide NGO a global exposure. Using
application, people can also easily donate to NGO using different payment method including PayPal.
Delivery Format: The project will be a fully functional Android application for an NGO. The
application would perform efficiently of mobile devices including the android based tablet.
