think with society. The excessive abuse and obligations either from family or society might
negative drive them toward suicidal actions. They might get mental disorder and start to live
as separated part of the society.
The presented dissertation has quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to collect
accurate and relevant data to achieve the goals and objectives. Systematic planning and well-
defined goals are used to achieve the outcomes. The dissertation has use of the literature
review and questionnaire to collect the potentially valuable data on the topic. Also, research
data analysis and finding communication is used to empower the results with accuracy and
promoted the results for further research. It has collected statistical and theoretical data on
teenage pregnancy. Later, the collected data is processed and synthesised to ensure that it has
adequate results aligned with the literature and other sources. Several recommendations and
supporting arguments are used to empower the accuracy of the work.
Background
Teenage pregnancy has an impact on the body and mental status of the girl and child. For

the emotional crisis. Bad reputation and substance abuse are also common to occur. The
society has negative impacts of the increasing suicide because of the bad reputation and
substance abuse. Therefore, the dissertation has a goal to determine the negative impacts on
the society, family and teenagers.
Research question
What are the major impacts on the society due to teenage pregnancy?
How it impacts mental health and child life from the social aspects?
What are the major factors and influences they have during such events in their life?
Literature review
According to Dickins et al. (2012), 28 teenagers out of 1000 are suffering from teenage
pregnancy, and it is impacting their education, behaviour and mental health. Most of the
teenagers are 15 to 17 year old during pregnancy. According to Copping et al. (2013), it is
also impacting the society to decrease health standards, poor alignment toward economic
growth and disturbance in the awareness for the quality life. Social abuse and suicides also
have a strong relationship with teenage pregnancy.
Social obligations and increased risk of destitution are major impacts on society. The family
also suffer from an emotional crisis. In developing countries, they also have no benefits from
government schemes. According to Molina and González (2012), teenagers have
uncontrolled access to the living values, and families are more oriented to the work rather
than awareness and education to the child. It is becoming a major reason that lack of
awareness is resulting in teenage pregnancy. Teenagers have lower attention to the future and
are an inseparable part of the family due to increasing orientation to modern lifestyle.
Methodology
The dissertation has the use of qualitative and quantitative research methods to collect and
generate accurate data to meet the outcomes. The methodologies are used to achieve
performance and quality with proper use of the techniques such as literature review,
questionnaire and data analysis. The methodologies have values to engage the participants
and make proper use of the available books, journals and other resources to achieve the
investigation goals.

Ethics
The dissertation includes ethical principles. It has ensured that the risk of harm is minimised
through proper data management and investigation through a questionnaire. Informed
consent is taken from an individual also to achieve conflict-free use of the data. Throughout
the dissertation, confidentiality and anonymity are protected for collected information. The
right to withdraw is managed for the participants (Miller et al., 2012). Role delegation and
accuracy enforcement through the protection of the data are used to achieve goals.
Significance of Research
The dissertation has values for the society to understand the concern of teenage pregnancy
and the potential impacts the individual might obtain due to teenage pregnancy. Also, the
dissertation has significance to understand the core promoting factors within the social and
cultural values of the country. The adverse impacts on the family for suicide, social abuse
and a bad reputation can examine various cultural differences. Through the dissertation,
society can understand the need for the awareness, management of the health concerns and
economic status.
Timeline
The dissertation is expected to complete within the given time as work breakdown structure,
and Gantt chart like tools and techniques are used to achieve the performance. The time
factor is also managed with proper role delegation, resource arrangement and optimisation of
the schedule. The timeline has several milestones to achieve on time to ensure that the
dissertation is on time.
Budget
The dissertation has a theoretical analysis of the factors and impacts to provide the
summarised data on teenage pregnancy. Therefore, the budget is mainly required for time
consumed and documentation of the work. The cost might be required for questionnaire
