1. Reviewing the scenario
The Australian Hardware is one of the leading hardware companies in this country and
the company has implemented an efficient management system in order to carry out its
operational activities. The company has aimed to adopt an efficient workplace health and
safety management system (WHSMS) for the respective organization. For this purpose,
the organization is recruited as a WHS consultant. Hence, my responsibility is to
establish an efficient WHS management system within the organization. The
organization has many warehouse and offices and I have to implement the WHS
management system in its entire establishments. I have decided to pilot my program of
implementing the WHS management system in the Wollongong Store.
For this purpose, I have to plan efficient WHS risk management policy as well as
procedures. Besides this, I have to plan as well as implement effective risk management
by consulting with the workers of this particular store along with their representative.
