Introduction:
The main aim of the report is to implement an ERP system that will ensure better
performance of the ABC organization. ABC organization is a banking sector that focuses on
dealing with the financial factors of the clients. This paper will provide proposal defining the
benefits of implementing ERP system. ERP implementation offers effective communication
between the different departments and allows the employees to get easy access over the
information.
a) Overview of project:
The project charter will focus on outlining the steps for implementing an ERP system
within the organization so that the challenges faced at earlier stages can be mitigated.
The main purpose of the project charter is:
 The project will ensure that a flexible design is maintained throughout the organization.
 The project will ensure that the organization is able to perform their activities efficiently.
 The main reason behind implementing ERP system within the organization is to improve
the business and ensures that the jobs of employees becomes easier and this enhances the
job quality produced by the organization (Shen, Chen& Wang, 2016).
 At early stage the organization faced several challenges with the concept of providing
better customer services.

help in enhance the performance of ABC organization. The major benefits that are obtained with
the implementation of ERP system is that it focuses on reducing IT costs and ensures that the
planning process has been improved drastically.
The performance of banking sector can be enhanced with the implementation of ERP
system. This ensures that the efficiency of the project has increased rapidly. In addition to this
one of the major reason behind implementing ERP is to ensure that there is a proper control over
the organization and benefits are provided towards the customers.
With the help of ERP implementation the competitive advantage can be gained by the
organization (Seethamraju, 2015). Thus it becomes essential to ensure that proper collaboration
is provided towards the department. In addition to this the resources becomes scalable with the

able to run over the remote server. Thus a cloud based ERP will be beneficial for managing the
accounting system within the ABC bank.
This offers better performance and ensures that the work is being executed based on the
need of organization. The customer service will get increased with the use of effective
management system (Costa, 2016). With better customer satisfaction it will become easy to
provide accurate access towards the system and information that is stored within the database.
ERP implementation also provides better security through the use of firewalls and built-in
protection resources.

implementation of ERP overall view of the financial condition of the organization can be gained
easily which will help to manage it in better way(Shatat, 2015). More specifically, through the
ERP profits of the organization can be tracked easily which will help to determine the ROI for
any type of investment or purchase that has been made. Through this ERP systems also cost
analysis can be done and from this cost analysis how the business will be spending the money
can be decided and through this important financial benefit will be gained.With that tracking of
invoices is another financial benefit that is provided by the ERP system. Through tracking of the
invoices receivables can be handled very easily without any type of error.

There are several of criteria upon which the acceptance of the project charter is actually
dependent. In this project of ERP implementation the project charter acceptance is actually
depending on various of aspects which includes meeting the budget of the project, meeting the
expectation level of the client, avoiding any type of mistakes within the project and mitigation all
types risks that can occur due to the implementation of ERP system within organization(Kerzner,
2017). All the mentioned criteria are very much important in this case. The budget of the project
need to be set with some realistic value that the organization remains profitable after
implementing the ERP within the organization. For this a budget need to be set and the project
must be completed within this budget. The project also needs to satisfy all the expectance of the
client. While the all the expectations of client will be not fulfilled through the project, it will be
not accepted at all. Any type of mistakes will not be entertained within this type of ERP
implementation project. With that this project also need to be projected in such a way that it will
eliminate all the risks that can occur in the organization due to the implementation of the ERP
systems.

From the above discussion it can be concluded that Enterprise Resource Planning
implementation is very much beneficial for the organizations. This ERP systems can helps the
organization in several of ways which has been discussed within this report. In this aspect, first
overview of the project has been discussed briefly within this report. Following this the main
purposes of the project charter has been discussed in this report. One of the main purpose of the
project charter is defining the scope of the project. Following that objective of the project and
scope of the project is also defined within this report. This project consists several of important
deliverable which must be satisfied after the completion of the project. In this report this
deliverables has been discussed successfully. There are several of reasons due to which
businesses requires this type of ERP systems within their organization. In this report important
need for which ERP systems are implemented has been assessed. In the further section of this
report financial benefits that has been provided by the implementation of the ERP system has
been discussed. Through this discussion important financial benefits that is achieved through the
ERP systems has been identified and elaborated. Further in this paper the project charter
