Introduction
The Occupational Safety and Health Plan is a clear action plan that is designed for every
particular place of work to prevent the accidents as well as occupational diseases. The

Details of workplace
I work in ABC organization which is Chemical factory organization physical space occupies
approximately 500 hectares of land and there are almost 500 employees working within the
organization. Employees working in the organization are 70% of male employees and 30% of
female workers all belong from a diverse background, culture and socio-economic background.
Managers and senior work management teams effectively manage the workplace but still, there
are some health-related risks exists such as in chemical department exposure to killing chemical
harms number of employees. One other big issue is a use of confined spaces within the
organization (Ali Hassanzadeh, 2013).

A chemical is very expensive; furthermore, employees in ABC organization can never
understand when they will require utilizing chemical again. Other than that this type of opinion
and thinking may lead to some serious workplace hazards. Earlier than management team knew
that, they already have an entire chemical that no one wanted. There are the hundreds of
chemicals on the shelf." Even though it can be very simple to overlook 5grams vial, the five
gram can become unbalanced over time for example after one year, ether will turn into explosive
peroxides. When organization purchase as well as utilizes a chemical, they also require system
control for those chemicals. There is an also a need to understand what these chemical are or
why they are ordered. Another potential risk is the transfer of chemical from the one place to
another place and from one container to another container. Even though workers feel always
comfortable around the chemical or also working with those for many years, the container should
be marked according to the requirements of the hazardous standards (Apostolopoulos, Sönmez,

Another risk is confined spaces. Confined spaces may cause a large amount of harm to
employees of ABC organization. Many of the tragedies in ABC organization are involving

equipment use was outdated. The fire also broke out. And “I saw the people entering the sewer
without a permit, not yet knowing it was confined space.
