Aboriginal protection act, enacted in 1869 by the colony of Victoria, has been able to
give extensive powers to aboriginal people to the government's Board for the Protection of
Aborigines. The act has adequate amount of regulations for residence, marriage and
employment. It has been able to give adequate amount of well being to the people of the
community (Behrendt and et.al., 2012). Concessions and facilities in health care department
have also been extended to people to promote well being to the people belonging to
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities, families and individuals.
As per the aboriginal act government takes action towards those students who faces
these problems. Board of power removes any indigenous child at any time and for
unspecified reason. As per the government guidance, this act also have strong impact on the
economy of Australia as well. Government adopt various plans for those children. During
that time, there are certain improvements that has been done in some areas since the 1970.
Actions are taken regarding inequality gap between aboriginal and Torres strait islander
people in younger age. This has impacted on the population of burgoing.

As a part of the new job role, to deliver the services and programs to the local
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community, it becomes important to treat these people
with utmost care. Translator can be used at the workplace so that no language barrier is faced
by them. Moreover, communicating in written format rather than oral can also help in solving
out the issue to the core. This is the good way to enhance the children safety and precautions
through which they enhance the scope for those students.
