INTRODUCTION
Immunization is the process by which an individual is immune to
certain infectious diseases (Hall et al., 2018).
There are a number of groups who are vulnerable to these
diseases and thus, immunization is necessary for them.
Document Page
POLICIES
National Immunisation Program or NIP is the chosen policy
This will help to protect the children from, critical infectious viral
and bacterial diseases such as meningococcal, pneumococcal
and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Australian Government
Department of Health, 2019)

PRIMARY ASPECT OF THE
POLICIES
The main aspects of the policies are spreading awareness,
educating people and the implementation of the strategy
The main obstacle in this strategy is the lack of awareness
among the lower and middle income societies and the lack of
availability of immunization campaigns in the remote areas
(Betterhealth.vic.gov.au., 2019).
