Portfolio is the compilation of the work related to the academics and other forms of
evidences of education accumulated for the purpose of assuring about course work quality,
learning progress and achievements. Respective report is based on the various topics of the
academics that helps to an individual to gain desirable outcomes.

 SWOT analysis: SWOT analysis is one of most important framework that helps to
analyse the individuals and organisations current position before deciding any new
strategy or tactic (Bismuth, Guéant and Pu, 2019). Respective tool used by organisations
to analyse about the another company because they want to learn about competitors. For
an individual it proved helpful in accessing own capabilities and areas that required to
work for overall development.
 Reflection: Reflective writing is the evidence of reflective thinking that helps to learn
from the specified practical experience. It helps to make connection in between the
individual taught in theory and required to do in practice. In academics it is very much
essential to reflect to acknowledge about what an individual learn so that necessary
improvements can be drawn. It is one of most important tool that helps to learn and way
to learn it in positive manner by improving academic skills. By using it an individual can
be able to identify mistakes and by correct it they can bring it into practice.

 Group presentation: Group presentation is a situation in which an individual has to
work with a team to represent their work in front of others (Dunst, 2019). In group
presentation involved both the interaction and communication with them. The major role
of group presentation in academics helps to learn from their experience and findings from
other groups by sharing the results with the rest of people. It provides the learning to

essential for an individual in enhancing the knowledge and level of confidence.

someone's work of life. It is very important to have the skills of CV Writing as it is one of
the best way to represent oneself in front of recruiter so that they can take crucial
decision. Writing specifically and relevantly helps to win the heart of an interviewer in
CV (Duong and Meschke, 2019). The major information that needed to include in the CV
is personal summary, career history, qualification, references and areas of expertise. So it
is one of Most important attribute that helps in career growth as academic skills is very
important to pursue job in proper way.
 Interview preparation: Interview is essentially a structured kind of conversation in
which one participant asks questions from the other that provide answers. It is very much
potential for an individual to prepare oneself before giving interview so that they can gain
desirable outcomes. It is very potential to conduct the through research and share
experience with others, identify the likely questions and practice answer orally all are the
important parts for preparing for interview. Preparing for interview enhance the
knowledge, develop reading ability and bring confidence in an individual to represent

or to who is in authority. Informal email is a piece of writing that is similar to speaking to

beneficial for individual to evaluate the major areas in which they needed to work that

 Presentation skills: Respective skill helps in delivering the most effective and engaging
kind of presentations for the various kinds of audiences. Presentation skills cover the

in developing communication, leadership and team building skills in an individual that is

From respective report I can be able to enhance my academic skills which is very much
important in gaining career growth. Academic success is very much important for an individual

employed that enhance their living standard positively. The major topics chosen in respective
project that are very much important for the academic skills are SWOT analysis that proved
helpful for an individual as well as for organisation to analyse the aspects of oneself by self-
analysing to bring improvement. Reflection is one of major attribute that contributes towards
enhancing the knowledge by analysing oneself and areas in which needed to work in order to
gaining potential outcomes. For an adult it is very much important to possess the knowledge of
writing the CV to represent oneself in front of others for gaining great career opportunities. By
describing all the necessary information about oneself such as education, skills, experience so
that recruiter can take proper decision for appointing an individual for a specified designation.
By evaluating respective subject matters, I can analyse the importance of them in my career
growth. As a student it is very beneficial to gain knowledge about way to prepare for the
interview for achieving higher grades by paying attention on dressing, gestures and postures,
presenting oneself in front of others for achieving desirable position. In corporate world it is very
essential to have the knowledge of writing the formal and informal emails to communicate with
the colleagues the views and opinions. So formal and informal letter enhances my writing skills
and way to represent the ideas and views in appropriate manner in front of others that helps me

to remain competitive in marketplace. Presentation skills that are important part of academic
skills to present the work with the help of slides in systematic and beautiful manner so that
knowledge should be delivered in proper manner. So presentation of the work is also a potential
art that must for an individual to gain desirable career opportunities and growth ahead. While
write academically the knowledge and requirement of the references is very much potential as it
helps to provide authenticity of the content and information and save from the theft. Writing and
presentation of oneself are the major source for an individual to represent attributes in front of
other in most successful manner. So all skills are very much important to enhancing the
knowledge in improving my academic skills that simultaneously give career growth positively.
