INTRODUCTION
Academic skills are very essential at every level of learning is a concern and many nations
and scholar are looking for ways of alleviating the problem of poor academic performance.
Present report will be based on academic skills to improve individual development of academic
skills in the SMART goals. In this report learner present their own experience and share some of
the effective goals and ideas.
MAIN BODY
Throughout the study, I got to learn so many unique skills and knowledge that should be
beneficial for me in my future plans. However, I got to learnt academic skills such as
communication, decision making and leadership skills. Through I learnt a lot and enough to
make my career more awesome and productive. Throughout the study I got a good experience
from my learning where I got to learn how to perform a task (Gould and Taylor, 2017).
For the overall study, here I observed my own strength or weaknesses that helps me to
make further action plan. I felt that, I increased my level of confidant through presenting my
project in front of other team members. Being as a learner I been participated in lot more
activities in the college days. Through I learnt things how to get stuff more presentable in front
of the audience. Under my observation, I realized confidence and self-participation is very much
required to become a successful undergraduate study.
Ability to provide focus for self-improvement is also most significant in the process of
learning. In other words, it helps to make the good impact on the overall development process
required in the more expansion progress. In other words, it makes the good impact on the
development growth and target market performance. Besides that,
Throughout the study I go through from different process where I got to learn team
leadership skills as a I worked with group members and I was the leader who support other team
members. So that, there are several skills that I learned first time. before joining this team work,
in early I was not so very confident with my decisions. But somehow now I am able to make
decision on my own (Rabiner, Godwin and Dodge, 2016).
In other words, I found that still I need to work on my time management skills due to
which I faced some problems in group performance. In order to make action plan I need to built
my SMART objectives to improvise my time management skills. Here it is given below:

(S) Specific – My Goals must be specific which is more likely to be achieved. It helps to
improve the value of time.
(M) Measurable- Measuring is the process where I check or helps to track my own
performance.
(A) Action Oriented- Goals must be break down into more smaller parts that helps me to
get closer to my success.
(R) Reasonable- Avoid unreasonable expectations, it helps to reduce time on waste
activities.
(T) Timely- it is very necessary for me to understand the finishing date of project. So it help
to maintained the set commitments.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above summarize report, it has been cleared out individual student can
develop their deeper understanding into their field. Present reflective study based on academic
skills where student experienced their own experienced and development plan.
