INTRODUCTION
The academic skills and employability involve thinking critically, resolving the problems,
communicating orally as well as written, working in team, being creative and using innovative
technologies (King, Gonzales and Reinke, 2019). To perform efficient the academic and
employability skill are very important as this help individual to achieve the goal. This report will
determine the reflection on the specific topics which are used in the learning. The reflection is
presented with the help of a reflection model.
MAIN BODY
Reflection
Time management/ organizing study: While in the project of learning I have managed and
learn different skills. The time management is important in the particular module so with the
reflection model the time management is analysed effectively as under:
What: The annual sport event was organized in which there are different teams created to
manage the activities of the sport event. Different have allotted particular time frame to
accomplish the given task (Hurwitz and Schmitt, 2020). Every individual is also assigned their
work which they have to complete within given time. My work is to manage the performance
which are held at sport event. So as per the time period I was managing the performance timing
and also make sure that all performance are had equal time period. The time is being managed
with the people are the volunteers in the event. As task and activities are being smoother when
people use to management the time and perform their task accordingly. The time management is
playing crucial role in this event if the time management is not their then activities will not
manage, and there are issues as well.
So what: Through this module is had identified that my time management is comparatively good
but there is need for some improvement for better result. As the skill need for supportive skill as
well to perform efficiently as coordination and teamwork is all important. While performing the
duty in the event I felt that my team working skill is lacking behind as I was performed by task
according to me. I was ignoring the instruction of the senior and my reaction are not in the
favour of team work (Dirgeyasa, 2017). At that I can perform more effectively by following the
instruction and help others as well in the event. While managing the performances there is
conflict situation with the colleague who is working with me. In this event there are different
people involved who are trying to accomplish this with their best potential skill. I also found that

situations who have teaches me that how management off time is vital in every field.
Now what: I have learned to manage the things according to the time that is had in particular
situation. In near future when I will perform some task then I will able to coordinate and work
effectively in team. Now in future I will know my mistakes that I have made in my previous task
and I will make affords to remove all my negative points related to team management (Laguador,
Chavez-Prinsipe and De Castro, 2020) To improve my team management I will work in such
environment where all are working collectively so particular task in respective time frame. In the
last task time is being not able to managed due to less coordination and team working is also not
that much effectively.
Public speaking and giving presentations: The skill of public speaking and giving presentation
has been reflected. My reflection on this skill can be illustrated with following model.
What: The debate competition was held in which I had taken part to speak in front of people and
able to show my thought (Singh and Tolessa, 2019). I have also contributed my knowledge and
skill in the debate, the debate judges have provided every one a particular topic which all have to
speak and show their skill. I also got the topic on which I had spoked in the debate, while
speaking I found that people are not having enough attention when I was presenting my thought.
In that debate there are different individuals who are speaking so smoothly that all the people are
listening to them. The debate is to improve the speaking skill of the participants which they can
use in their future. I was a good experience to involved in such debate competition because this
assist me to know about the knowledge that people have. The debate also gave me chance to
know my positive and negative aspect regarding public speaking.

in front of public and my communication is also good (Kurtz and et. al., 2017). Further more I

develop presentation skill in myself so that when their its chance in which I have to speak
between the crowd then it comes easy for me to do so.
Analytical and critical thinking skill: the analytical as well as critically thinking is very vital in
the module which can be analysed with the model as under:
What: In the module the simulation practise is been undertaken in which all the participates has
been provided with a situations in which they have to give their personal judgement. The
decision-making is to make by every person and further the implementation of decision is also
made by every participant. All have to think which is analytical as well as critical through which
the decision-making was effective (Demirkesen and Ozorhon, 2017). All the individual have
positively involved in the simulation practise. All have to thought deeply in this to make that
decision which is beneficial for the individual as well as people with individual. Situation is
imaginary and participant have asked to take their immediate step in that situation so all have
given their suggestions. My situations are to handle the situation of aeroplane which is being
overloaded and need some help, so I have thought and show if the pay-let will transfer the
information to the helpline then what can happen as well as other related thought are explained
by me.
So what: While giving the presentation of this simulation practise I found that can able me make
the best decision at my place. The decision also being in favour of all the people and also assist
to help at the particular condition. Yet at the time of implementation I reacted not effective as I
used to over-thing the aspect and critically thinking is being lacking behind. In this I was lacking
and I have made different step to overcome from this. I have practises different situation and

Academic writing: The writing skill is must in career in academic as people who are improving
their academic must write efficiently (Raja, 2017). This skill is being reflected with the model as
below:
What: In this I have assigned different writing assessment like essays, dissertation, report, thesis,
literature reviews. Which are help to know the structures of writing in academics and a proper
way is being determined with the help of these assessments. This type of assessment are prepared
by me in this academic writing module. There are different people who are performing this with
me and trying standout by applying their knowledge and skills in this. This was one of the best
experience is ever got because in this module as it help to identify the different writing types.
So what: After involved in this assessment I found that earlier I don't know the different such as
I have no idea that report format is totally different from essay writing. The different concepts
related to writing are being cleared with the assessment. I also found to know about the uses of
references and citation in the particular report or essay and what they indicate. The formatting
and writing of literature review is also got cleared as critically writing in the favour and against
the topic is being analysed. Earlier is had no in-depth knowledge of these aspects so now when I
will write ant essay or report then I will be efficient in writing with proper format (Brous, 2017).
Now what: My academic skill of writing the report, essays, LR and dissertation has been
improved by this assessment. My knowledge of formats are clear and I have no confusion to
right this all. If I have to right some kind of written academics then I will write that in proper
manner with proper references. I will practise the format by writing different essays and reports

This report concludes that the academic and employability skill are very vital to perform

ability and also help to think analytical and critically more efficiently. In this module the time
management is being improved by practising and participating different event which are helping
in improving this skill. Further more the analytical and critically think skill and academic writing
is also got enhance by facing such simulation situations and making decision and implementation
them in right time without any delay.
