Explanation of the topic by using the Gibbs' reflective learning model-
Gibbs' reflective learning model is one of the most famous model of the reflection. The main
purpose of this model is to have the systematic reflection by explaining the learning experience
through the six stages of this model. The six stages of the model are description, feelings,
evaluation, analysis, conclusion and the action plan. This reflective model is considered the tool
which helps the individual to analysis the progress of themselves through learning by their past
experiences (Sangyenphan, Photisuvan and Saisophon, 2019). The six steps of the Gibbs'
reflective model provides by explaining the learning experience by considering the negative as
well as the positive things happened while the learning process.
The explanation of the four topics from the module is explained using the Gibbs' reflective
model.
Time management:
Description- This module helped in learning hoe the time can be managed effectively and hoe it
provides the positive results when completed the learning process timely. The learning
experience of this module was quite good as this has enhanced my time management skills.
Feelings- After learning this module, it was much good for me as this has helped me in learning
the module effectively. The content of the module was effective and was in the simple language

which helped me in understanding the topics in detailed manner. I felt much satisfied by learning
this nodule as this has helped me in the professional development by enhancing the time
management skills which is very important for the individual as this make them competent form
the other because this skill is very rare to be found in the individual (Asar, 2019).
Evaluation- The learning experience of this module was good in terms of learning the time
management skills. These skills enhanced in this module is much helpful for me in my career
path. There was very less negative situation while learning this module for the time management
as this was very difficult for me to adopt the skills.
Analysis- The experience of learning this module was positive as this helped me in developing
the time management skills as before this module my time management skills was much poor
because of which it becomes difficult for me to adopt these skills. The classes and the topics
were taken on time so this has helped me in managing my learning timely.
Conclusion- From learning this module, it can be concluded that the time management skills are
very important in effective learning process. This module has helped me in understanding the
importance of valuing the time and how to manage the things on time for getting the positive
results (Schermerhorn, Bachrach and Wright, 2020).
Action plan- The time management skills which are developed while learning this module is
much helpful and purposeful for my future. This skill will help me in managing my work
properly as well the value of time in the future in the company where I will be working. This
skill will help me in effectively completing the work without any delays.
Academic skills can be defined as the process of learning and adapting new skills in the
academic environment. This helps in succeeding in the academic career. Academic skills are
very important for the growth of a person as it helps in increasing the productivity of the student.
This helps in future career and also improve the performance of the student. There are many
examples of academic skills. Some of them are listening, reasoning, data analysis, verbal
communication and many more. Academic skills helps in enhancing the future career of an
individual. Some of the academic skills are as follows:
Goal planning:
Planning of goals is very necessary to be focused in your career. The main aim of goal planning
is to make and monitor the goal you want to achieve. Having a knowledge of smart goal skills is

as one should know the strategy of getting the work done in a significant manner.
Multitasking:
Multitasking is the process of doing multiple work at a single time. A person will able to do the
work at a same time only if he is well aware about the work he have to do and have better
understanding of the work. Proper knowledge should be required for multitasking. A person
should be flexible enough to adapt changes to work for multiple projects at a time. Prioritize
what to do at fist and how to manage the tasks helps in increasing the growth rate of the person.
Reading comprehension:
Reading comprehension can be defined as the ability of learning and understanding from what
we have read. Reading is very important aspect in the academic skills as it enhance the academic
knowledge of the individual.in the workplace the ability of reading comprehension helps in
connecting with the colleagues and gathering information .one can improve the reading
comprehension skills by reading books or newspapers and this also helps in increasing the
vocabulary part.
Self-disciple:
Self-discipline helps in motivating the employees in the workplace. Just like time management
self-discipline helps in understanding the concept and boost the confidence level.it allows a
person to solve the problem more efficiently and build the power of taking decisions by their
own.in the workplace many challenges are there, the ability to prioritize them accordingly comes
under self-discipline. Learning more about the industry you are working in improves the quality
of self-discipline.
Similarly employability skills is defined as the process of the skills required by the organization
for making them employable. Apart from technical knowledge there are many inter personal
skills which are required by the organization to hire an employee? In today’s era where there is
so much competition in the market it is very essential to have employability skills. Every
organization need an employee who is more flexible and adaptable to work in every type of
environment. Employability skills are the core values which are required by every company for a
desirable profile. This includes the soft skills, professional skills and transferable skills for
working in any organization. We can further understand this with the help of examples and some
of them are flexibility, life skills, administrative skills, supervision and many more. There are

total five types of employability skills an employer looks to hire an individual. These skills are as
follows:
Critical thinking and problem solving:
Critical thinking is very important to work in any organization as it gives the ability to think and
perform in a better way. Observation and proper understanding of work is required in critical
thinking. Critical thinking is the most crucial ability of a person employer looks for.it makes the
employee more creative and innovative. ( Sharifi Asadi Malafeh, F.,and et.al., 2019. ) A critical
thinker can solve any kind of problem more easily without giving any doubt. He is very clear
about his goal and how to achieve that goal. Critical thinking can be improved by attending some
training sessions or by watching motivational videos. Reading books also makes a person more
innovative and a quick problem solver. Every organization need an employee who is willing to
solve any challenge with more flexibility.
Teamwork and collaboration:
Teamwork is essential for every employee to work more significantly in an organization. From
planning to implement and from sourcing to achieving teamwork is very necessary for running
the business more smoothly. Interaction and collaboration among the team members enables in
having more success and growth rate. Every person have some skills and ideas for running the
industry so by interacting with the employees the organization can reach to the best solution for
the organization.( Suarta, I.M., and et.al., 2018) When a person have teamwork skills then he is
smart enough to sustain in this competitive environment. Teamwork also help in increasing the
productivity of the resources. Teamwork also provide learning opportunities and encourages
labour cooperation.
Professionalism and strong work ethics:
Every employer his team member to have professionalism and work ethics to work in the
organization. They want to have strong professionals to work more smoothly in the industry. In a
survey” employer career competencies survey” it has been found that hundred percent
professionalism and work ethics are required in every employee. Some of the qualities of a
professional worker is that they finish their work in the given timeline and they work according
to their deadline given to them.th employees who are professional and have good work ethics are
more interested in getting promotions or new jobs and opportunities.( Aliu, J. and Aigbavboa,
C.O., 2019)

Oral and written communication skills:
Oral communication can be defined as the way of expressing our thoughts by face to face
conversation. This is very essential task to run any organization as this makes the employer more
understanding about the team.by having a strong oral communication one can easily influence
their supervisors and also build a confidence with them.( Griffin, M. and Coelhoso, P., 2018)
The employees cannot deliver their thoughts through technology therefore it is very crucial to
have a good oral communication. Similarly written communication is also required by the
employer for hiring a new employee. The employees should be good listener and deliver their
innovative ideas shortly, clearly and in a more concise manner.by improving communication
skills one can become a good leader as well. For improving written communication skills,
proofreading should always be followed by the employees so as to check the mistakes.( Griffin,
M. and Coelhoso, P., 2018)
Leadership skills:
To work in any organization leadership is required. Leadership is defined as the ability of an
individual to influence or guide members of an organization for achieving a goal. A leader
knows how to motivate the employees by giving them innovative ideas and also helps them in
understanding the system. A great leader should have good communication skills, management
skills, goal oriented, creative and self-confident. Leadership is strategic process of resources for
achieving success in an organization. A leader helps in providing guidance and helps to
minimize potential threats that can affect your productivity. Therefore it is good to have a higher
authority to report to. A leader provides you the mentorship or liability of doing the work in an
organized way and encourage you at every stage. The main purpose of leadership is to have a
clear understanding of the team’s purpose and what it must to do to make it a reality. Having a
good leader in an organization leads to the overall productivity and performance, customer
satisfaction and large investments.( Ornellas, A., Falkner, K. and Stålbrandt, E.E., 2018)
Effective leadership also have a great impact on the performance, employee retention and
morale. A great leader is the one who have empathy towards the other individual, one should
know to connect in a way lets that person know you understand what it means to be in their
situation.
