Introduction
Proper academics and employment opportunities are for everyone but it is necessary to ensure a
proper state of mind. In this context, having knowledge associated with betterment of the
situation is a necessary thing. The management of certain responsibilities have to be adhered and
proper state of mind need to be managed for implementing the skills. In the following segment
the services related skills are going to be analysed. The employment and academic skills are
going to be detailed and analysed as per the requirement of the situation. In the concluding part,
the requirement is going to be managed with proper kind of situational analysis.
Academic skill analysis

I have considered a close look on the activities that I have done in the academic lie of mine. It is
given that for better kind of analysis of the situation one person should reflect on what he or she
has done and I am going to do that too. Considered few things that are to be important for me
and I think that for better kind of analysis I need to access my academic skills properly. I have
considered few of the activities that I used to do in the academic session and I am going to reflect
on them. Some of the activities that I used to be done are reading, essay writing, report writing,
paraphrasing, note taking, and researching.
Reading
The most of the time I used to consider the process of reading to be very much important and
that is why I have significantly developed my skills in this segment on the other hand I have
managed to make some modifications in the raising process (Kiuru et al., 2015). I used to read
aloud but in the later days I understood that reading should be done in a seamless manner and
that should include peace. I have significantly improved my reading skills and reading something
loud in front of people was not a big issue for me. After developing the seamlessness, I have
understood that I need to be more confident and in this segment, I have reviewed positive peer
reviews. It can be stated that reading something loud is a very beneficial exercise but for that, the
service providers need to be more proficient in nature.

Note taking
It is one of the most important things to be considered because it is seen that the process helps in
making proper notes that have been given by the teacher. I was a person who forgets things in
the academic life, therefore, having proper kind of understanding of what has to be written and
what not developed in the initial phase of learning. The most of the times, I used the note taking
process as the only option for me to make things memorisable. I have managed to make a
significant effect on the memorising process. I have improved a lot and by note taking process I
ensured that I do not forget anything. This helped me in making my grades better. In the
beginning of my academic career, I used to overlook things that were not important for me. This
process helps in a proficient manner (Sala and Gobet, 2017). Note taking involves the muscle
memory and other senses, which is a necessary thing to be considered.
Paraphrasing
I have managed to make some good marks with the process of paraphrasing. I have seen that i
ma in the need to making other’s opinion stated in my way. Getting the gist of something and
then presenting in the words of own is the main thing to be considered as the base of
paraphrasing (Cisco, 2019). This was witnessed that the process was learned easily and I have
learned that I need to focus on the skill properly. I have scored well when ever my paraphrasing
skill was tested in class. Paraphrasing helped me in making certain decisions and understanding
what has been told in the text. This process has helped me in theoretical interpretation of many
things, which are necessary for the process of learning. Giving the opinion to others and leaving
a touch of creativity is the main idea of this paraphrasing.
Researching
The process of researching is associated with proper kind of understanding of the demand and
then looking for the remedies that are needed (Klegeris et al., 2018). It is seen that ht issues
related with researching includes less understanding of the keywords and the concerns that have
been asked in the question. I have developed my researching skills as it was seen that I have
managed to make some modifications in the researching capabilities by learning the processes of
searching for a specific keyword. This has helped me a lot and I developed myself in a
significant manner for better kind of service management.

Essay Writing
This is among the most basic things that people learn during the initial education period. It is
seen that the process of learning is needed in order to meet the requirements that are associated
with the education life. Essays were common in those days and it was seen that I had issues with
the process from the beginning (Tiruchittampalam et al., 20180. The structured essays and
different types of formatting process made it more difficult for me to comply with the
requirements. On the other hand, I have faced issues associated with proper management of the
grades due to the essay related factor. I decided to improve my skills in this and with the help of

The process of writing a report needs to have an understanding of what needs to be included in
the system and what should be avoided and in this regard, I have managed to learn the basics that
are going to be managed. It is often seen that the managing process of writing a report is
different every time. The reporting process is related with proper kind of assessment of the task
and then making a logical deduction of the scenario. The report writing process is associated
with the management of certain responsibilities and giving a proper direction that can make sure
that the requirements are being fulfilled (Schneider et al., 2018). I have managed to learn in
detail about the system. According to my peers, I have developed a lot.
Employability skill analysis
There are various skills that I possess and there are many which I need to develop. The skills,
which I possess and need to develop, are stated below:
Communication: This is my biggest strength in any work. I have the ability to communicate well
with other. My language is clear and specific. I approach in a friendly manner, which is liked by
people I approach. The other staffs of my organisation are very approachable and they like my
friendly nature. My communication is clear and I talk to my team members with confidence
while doing any task. The important factor in communication is the ability to understand others
(Klimova and Rondeau, 2017). I have the ability to understand other and be comfortable with
them while communicating. While approaching others in an organisation be it senior or junior,

ability to communicate in verbal manner. It means exchanging information to others by
delivering it with speech. I have this ability also; I have versatile skill of languages. I know
different languages, which becomes easy for me to approach the people who do not know local
language. This becomes my strength because as a cleaner it becomes important factor to have a
good communication and easy approachable nature. In addition, the company also focuses on the
employment of the person with this ability. The other factor is the nonverbal communication by
which any information is delivered in term of gesture touch and body language but not by
speech. I easily understand this approach as I can explain others by gestures while cleaning.
Teamwork: The other quality which I posses is the ability to perform my duty in a team. I am
easily approachable and it becomes easy for me to be comfortable with others therefore others
enjoy my company and we work together. In time of rush or any organisational party in the
company, it becomes difficult time for me to clean the workplace on time. In this situation, it
becomes easy when we work in team. The different departments to be cleared are assigned by
the head cleaner to us and we perform the task on time effectively.
The importance of teamwork is that different ideas and strategies can be discussed among the
colleagues, which becomes easy to apply to our cleaning process (Mýtna Kureková et al., 2017).
While performing in team it is necessary to have cooperation among the colleagues. Cooperation
plays an important role in doing the task on time, if there is any dispute or less coordination
among the cleaners it becomes tough to maintain the work on time. Understanding and listening
to each other is a vital role while working in team, it becomes easy to work if we are clear where
to work. This is maintained by listening to the seniors and cooperating with them.
I have the ability to work in team. I can coordinate with others and I have the ability to provide
new ideas for cleaning tools, which can save our time. These strategies will be beneficial for the

needs to be clean and maintained. There are several methods of cleaning this area. These need to
be applied in creative manner. The machines used for cleaning should be advances I have the
ability to use it in effective manner to save time. This creates ability for mind mapping; this
process involves capturing the thoughts and process to clean the area planning the methods to
clean the area (Robertson, 2016). I have the ability to experiment it in an effective manner and
make it happen in reality.
Creativity skill is important for the cleaner as it gives inspiration to work the techniques and
machines enable the person to work with interest. This becomes fruitful for the company as well
as it will have better facilities with able and skilled worker.
Time management: This is the best quality I possess. Time management plays a crucial role in
implementing any task. Being a cleaner it becomes important to keep track of time. In an
organisation, there is time allotment for the entire task so an wise cleaner should keep in mind
the effective use of time and methods to implements cleaning the areas. A time management
facility that requires in cleaning is planning (Genus and Theobald, 2015). I have a good ability to
plan a task I can organise it before implementing it. This saves time while cleaning where it
becomes easy to know where to work first. Self-starting the work is an effective and productive
way to manage time. This method saves time, as the worker does not have to wait for others to
start together.

In the study above the analysis of academic skills are performed in the first part. The different
academic skills required such as reading, note taking, paraphrasing, researching the work, which
is to be done, essay writings, report writing process area scrutinised. In the next part the analysis
of the employment skills is done. In this analysis, the different skills required as a cleaner is
mentioned. The focus points are communication skills required by the cleaner, the time
management skill, ability and advantages of working in team is explained. The creativity in work
is also focused. In this study the different approaches of the academic skills one needs to have
along with their employment skills as a worker is discussed.
