INTRODUCTION
Academic skills are considered as the core skill including academic writing, presentation,
referencing and so on. For this, it undertake several complex skills including critical thinking,
reflective practice and so on. In regard of this, employability skills are those skills which are
suitably required by individuals in terms of effectively performing several organisational
practices. These kinds of skills are quite transferable in terms of improving the overall
personality and abilities in terms of carrying out task in effective manner (Cotronei-Baird, 2020).
For this, it is important that workforce and individuals must have prominent set of skills in terms
of improving the possibility of get effective selection for the specific job role. The following
report is based on the effective reflection of the overall experience that undertake suitable
learning of module, prominent skills, difficulties which are faced and ways to overcome them.

What you have learned in the module
According to the module, I have learned several skills which are identified as the critical
factor for individuals in terms of having effective understanding regarding the employability
skills which is important to organise critical jobs in tourism sector which is useful in gaining
better opportunities. In regard of this, employability skills are depict as the suitable skills which
are essential for workforce in terms of effectively performing task by increasing overall
capabilities to accomplish more opportunities. Along with this, it is also identified that workforce
prominently looking for particular skills which is beyond the qualifications and experiences.
Employability skills are also undertaken as the soft skill which is essential in terms of
making employees more competent and capable (Bhagra and Sharma, 2018). Moreover, with
help of these skills an individual become more reliable at the performing suitable job role in
terms of learning more skills. For this module I have learnt several skills including
communication, emotional intelligence, team working and other employability skills which are
important for effective working with other individuals of company. In regard of this, the
prominent skills are essential as it tends to enhance overall capabilities of person in terms of
corrective working with other individuals and able tends to develop strong relationship in terms
of effective performing suitable task (Osmani and et. al., 2019). For this, employability skills are

important for me in terms of satisfying their customers in order to meet the overall expectations
of company and individuals both.
Along with this, employability skills tends to enhance the overall capabilities and
potential of individuals in terms of performing task by leading towards the reliable and
dependable manner. It is beneficial for me as it leads to increase faith and trustworthiness among
individuals in an effective manner by undertaking the prominent guidance and direction with
other workforce in effective manner. By this, I have learnt that overall improvement of potentials
of workforce in order take responsibilities for their own actions and also tends to offer prominent
values at the time of performing job role.
Employability skills are essential for individuals in terms of improving overall
willingness of an individual in terms of enhancing their overall performance (Scott and et. al.,
2019). Moreover, because of the overall development of employability skills I need to consider
new ideas and overall experience as an individual in terms of focusing and improving overall
knowledge and skills. Besides this, due to the personal development practices helps me in
carrying out task in formal and systematic way.
Specific skills you have acquired
While pursuing this module, it tends to identify that I have developed several set of skills
which are important for individuals to effectively performing task. Along with this, I have
analysed that there are several skills which is helpful for me in terms of getting specific job when
I prominently perform my coursework. Besides this, it is important to identify and evaluate the
prominent set of skills which are needed by recruiter I terms of looking for graduate employee.
For this, several skills which I have acquired as mentioned as: Communication: This skill is useful for me as it undertake both verbal and written
method of communication with other individuals. Moreover, this skill is helpful for me in
terms of conveying clear and effective message to other individuals so that receiver
prominently understand the response and meaning in an effective manner (Nisha and
Rajasekaran, 2018). Besides this, proper and effective communication is developed as it
is helpful for me in leading and conveying thoughts to others to eliminate confusion and
conflicts. Team working: This skill is useful for me in terms of developing effective terms with
others and performing for accomplishing suitable team objectives. Workforce team

working is quite supportive in nature in terms of assigning and managing task by
considering suitable roles and responsibilities for effective completion of task (Griffiths
and et. al., 2018). Besides this, recruiters are prominently looking for team working and
effective collaboration among employees as it tends to improve the prominent working
culture of company for effective coordination with the team. Problem solving: It depict the effective set of skills and capabilities which is useful for
me in order to solve critical problems and also lead to offer creative thoughts and ideas
undertaking the innovative solutions to the problem (Griffin and Coelhoso, 2019).
Besides this, as a tourist guide I face lot of issues in terms of collaborating with tourists
and schedule their trips and for this, I need to work calmly in terms of offering effective
development and offering several angles to the particular issue considering new approach
that helps me in resolving problems.
 Leadership: It is undertaken as the important skill that helps me in offering suitable
direction to others for effectively organising task. Besides this, leadership depict the
prominent capabilities of me that tends to motivate others in terms of enhancing their
potential and capabilities for effective performance of task (Di Gregorio and et. al.,
2019). In regard of this, I must have effective leadership skills that helps me in leading
towards the overall development and depict suitable chances to getting prominent
selection for the desired job role.
What difficulties you encountered in the study of the module and what in your estimation caused
them
At the time of pursuing coursework module, I face lot of difficulties in terms of having
effective performance towards the overall job role and also tends to take effective measures in
terms of overcoming them. Besides this, I face difficulties in terms of having effective
communication for the desired outcome and performing suitable job role. Besides this,
ineffective communication become barrier for me to deliver irrelevant information in terms of
delivering accurate and effective amount of information to others. For this, I face issues for
having communication with tourists as they carry different languages and perspective to have
suitable trips and always get curious to know story of place and also want to explore maximum
number of places. In regard of this, I face problems in terms of having proper communication
and also make them understand regarding the prominent issues. For this, I also tends to face issue

regarding the languages at it tends to become barrier for having prominent growth and
development for the future growth and developing.
For this, I need to take suitable measures in order to overcome difficulties which are
faced by me. Besides this, I need to get training for learning lot of languages which is helpful for
me in terms of offering effective guidance to them which is useful in terms of developing and
creating future opportunities. In regard of this, it becomes beneficial for me in order to managing
and handling lot of individuals and tourists that leads to develop overall economy and helps in
increasing the reputation of nation across the world (Gill, 2018). For this, effective learning of
several languages is useful in me in terms of enhancing my own abilities to increase effective
communication in various level of languages that leads to support for the enhancement of job
opportunities. Along with this, I get chance to develop these languages at the duration of lock
down. For this, I can get master's degree in various languages including, Spanish, French,
German, Portuguese and so on which is useful for me in terms of grabbing effective
opportunities.
How were you able to overcome the difficulties and what strategies you found helpful?
Communication become the biggest barrier which is faced in tourism sector and in regard
of this, it leads to hinder the effective performance and productivity of individuals. For this, there
are several ways by which I can overcome suitable issue effectively and tends to improve my
performance and productivity. There are various ways by which language issue can be overcome
including effective elimination of the differences in viewpoint as it depict that I need to make
sure effective hiring of appropriate individuals considering their skills which undertake the
effective responsibility in to make sure that I have proper command over at least spoken
languages. It tends to include effective induction program undertaking the suitable policies of an
organisation which is quite clear to the workforce. Therefore, I need to get suitable training for
the effective development of languages in terms of attracting and retaining large number of
individuals.
Besides this, I can also use reliable translation of language and services across the
international offices, which is helpful in terms of having qualified translator and get suitable
translation service that helps in meeting prominent requirements. For this, each and every
document is important for the company in terms of having proper translation for the primary

language. Along with this, I also need to be careful at the time of finding effective service and
make sure prominent qualification.
Despite from this, I also tends to offer prominent classes to my subordinates and fellow ones in
terms of working for the technical environment considering the crash course at the time of initial
job training and undertake as the ongoing learning classes (Suleman, 2018). Besides this,
effective requirement of sales is essential in terms of understanding for the effective flow of
product considering suitable selling by undertaking the marketing needs and their prominent
products which are essential for every individual in order to speak common language in terms of
planning for the future and career development opportunities for me. Along with this, it need
proper patience and understanding to make sure the effective elimination of struggle for
communication.
CONCLUSION
By undertaking the above discussion, it is identified that career opportunities for a learner
and student need effective and prominent education by which student is able to achieve
prominent skills including academic and employability that permit them for their career
considering effective education and training. Besides this, it also depict the effective knowledge
and specialisation for the specific area which need immediate development for the future
knowledge and development. Along with this, at the time of pursuing coursework it is analysed
that there are several skills and knowledge which helps in overall development and prominent
skills. Besides this, suitable difficulties are identified and ways to overcome them with the help
of prominent strategies.
