Introduction
Academic integrity refers to the avoiding of cheating and plagiarism and any type of
misconduct behaviors in the workplace and at the class. It is practiced at the educational
institutions, also it is noticed in mission statements, policies and procedures etc (Chen, and
et.al., 2021). In this report there is an introduction of academic integrity and its importance,
then it covers implication of academic misconduct. Further, it is discussed about difficulties
faced at produced a game and it focus on skills which are being enhanced at the time of
producing a game.
Section 1
An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity
Academic integrity is the moral code that is founded in the academic institutions. It is
a standard of ethics in which academic operates. In some of the areas that is concern with this
is Cheating on assignment and assessments. Next is plagiarism which is making use of
someone else work. Then next is academic misconduct. Academic integrity is concern with
the educational values that can helps in avoiding of the cheating, plagiarisms and any type of
misconduct. Academic integrity is being honest with the studies and work with full
responsibilities and giving advantage to the work. Like an example- when student is writing
and investigating a report or assignment then they should be responsible for not coping from
any other author and should be honest with their particular work.
A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher
education
Academic integrity is the most important for the students and universities both it
shows how a student is honest and how they are being responsible for their work and
assessments. Students who provide full commitment to the universities it shows how they ear
motivated and committed to the universities and their work assessments and they are not
willing to copy their work from any other person (Das, and et.al., 2021). In many cases, if
universities finds that students have done cheating or have copying from any other students
then they should be punished or thrown out of the universities. So that is why many of the
students take universities rules and regulation very seriously and avoids cheating and
misconduct so this will help them in developing their skills as well and their knowledge both.

Also, they could not learn about cheating and misconduct in the educational institutions.
Universities are very strict in protecting the students who is hard working for their
assignments in achieving the degree. there is various importance of academic integrity these
are discussed below:
For students: For students’ academic integrity o very necessary because this has
impacted the values and beliefs of students. On the one hand, the chosen way of behavior of
values and institutional missions is affects networks of universities. But on the other hand,
relationships with friends and classmates are depends on the building loyalty and not cheating
with them. And the behavior if students has done any of the misconducts can leads to loss of
their relationships in their friendships (James, and Clark, 2021). It is also discussed that
academic integrity is important for students because they are highly responsible to keep
environment of class highly integrated by involving with other members, treating fairly and
honestly and being task oriented.
For universities: The importance of academic integrity is seen in the university as
well. As university has a pressure of society and globally to build its reputation and honor in
international market. This can only be done when university make sure that there is no
academic misconduct in the university environment and also there is no integrity failures in
the environment of an organization or university. Next is implementing high academic
standards, and integrity will enhance students’ skills and knowledge which helps them in
bringing employability in their near future and in their job opportunity.
For employers: Workplace integrity is depending on the values and beliefs that an
employee gain from his university. As in daily life business, it is important has an employer
should be fully motivated and maintained standard of values, integrity and monitoring.
Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
Academic misconduct is when a student takes full advantage of any other person and
copying from other people and not giving appreciation to the hard worker. This is known as
academic misconducts. Also, it be when students do plagiarisms and cheating from other
students’ assignments. There is a detail about these misconducts are discussed below:
Plagiarism: Plagiarism is when students take other person work and presents as it
yours without sharing any knowledge of the particular work. It is seen when student of
universities takes and copy their assignments from other students and did not provide (Magu,
2021). For example, in some of the cases of universities, students copied from their friends

and their friends also let them copied from there. So, this becomes more risk for the students
and university both in maintaining the reputation of universities and removing that
misconducts. Because this will result in future also of the students. Then another misconduct
which is found that student cannot provide source of the author or writer. In many of the
universities if this happens then they throw out of students from the universities so this
becomes difficult for students to take admission in other university (Miyazaki, Shishido, and
Hayama, 2021). And in every university, they have to show their previous check that they
could not take advantage of other students.
Cheating: Cheating is considered as the most important misconduct which is seen in
the academic misconducts. It occurs when students cheat from the other student their exams
or assignments. As some of the students face difficulty in solving their exams and making
their assignments so this can lead to cheating from any other students. There are some of the
universities who are willing to offer any helps to their students but some universities choose
to cheat.
Misconducts: Academic misconduct is that at the time of studying students should
have to behave honestly and fairly with the universities and towards their assignment but if
they do not then this is called as misconduct. The purpose of academic misconducts is that to
make students being followed all the rules and regulation made by universities ad they do not
able to make cheating and ay type of misconduct. This is also done to make students
employable after they graduate (Onu, and et.al., 2021). All this academic misconduct
provides full opportunity to the hard-working students who had actually made efforts in
completing the assignments.

Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in
producing the game for Assignment 2
While in the other assignment in producing a game, there I face certain difficulties in
full understanding of the game and making of the required game. This game is present how to
change the game in rules of Academic integrity. It takes me longer to think about the
production of game because I have to make a game which is flexible as it can be change
according to the requirements of the students. So, I faced little difficulty in making that game.
One of the most difficulty which I faced was that I have never played it before and
that is why it is little bit more confusing for me to understand that game first. Because I have
to adapt rules of academic integrity in the game so that students could get some knowledge
and skills related to this game. This is made for reducing plagiarism and cheating. I need to
fit some of the questions in that game which can include more longer time to answer the
questions because this will help the students in not to copying a long answer from anybody
else. I have made some of the exercises which could help the students sin answering of the
questions or reducing plagiarism effectively. The most of the frustrating task is to
communicate with the leader because he wants to change some of the rules of game but I
have to make and learn about the game first.
In that game I have to more concentrate on providing time limit in each and every
question which becomes more difficult for me. After the game was made, some of the
difficulties which was faced is who is to perform which task and who is not to perform. So,
this creates difficulty for us to understand.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those
emphasized in producing your game
The skills and knowledge which I have gain in producing this game are very good and
these skills will help me in my near future in getting my job opportunities. I would have
never thought that I could get these good markets in my assignments. The skills which I have
developed during producing of this year is increasing in my IT skills and decision-making
skills and my analytical skills.
In context of these skills, I have made focus on my IT skills as I have made a lot of
decisions regarding this game that which method is to be choose and what rules are to be

made so this helps me in learning more IT skills and decisions making skills. These skills will
help me in my near future also as by this I will be able to make any types of decisions
regarding any of the topic in my studies and my career. Further, I have learned in making in
game is coordinating with my teammates and managing my team and taking their feedbacks.
I learned how to work with other team mates who are disagreed with your statements or
regarding the game. For that I have to be more open minded in producing of the game and
being successful in a game.
The other skills which I have developing in producing of this game is presentation
skills and time management (Zhai, 2021). In presentation skills, I have developed how to
present my knowledge in front of other people and also how I do present my information in
front of anyone without hesitating. Then other skills that is developed is time management as
I have learned how to complete my work in effective time or definite time limit. This will
help me in my near future when I have to perform ore work in definite time so this skill will
help me. By having this game students will able to solve doing misconduct in the universities.
They will be able to reduce their plagiarism and cheating work in effective manner. As this
game will help them in coordinating with their teammates and able to solve their problems by
their own.
Conclusion
From the above report it has been concluded that academic integrity is one the most
important thinks which should be helps both universities and students in making their
assignments and maintaining their reputation in the international market. So, it is the
responsibility of universities to reduce and remove misconducts from the students and
universities. Also, in section two, there are various difficulties faced by investigator in
producing and some of the skills which are obtained by this producing of a game. This will
help in near future in job opportunities.
