INTRODUCTION
The skills with the help of which a student pursue certain academic sessions such as
research, presentation, learning and report writings are defined as the academic skills. Moreover,
there also lies several capabilities which are planning, management, effective communication
and technical skills. The said report is going to cover the brief description of academic integrity
along with its importance and implications in higher educations. Other than this it will also cover
the obligations which arise as a result of academic misconduct. The report will also elaborate the
major concerns which lies there with respect to the creation of skills for the academic periods for
outlining of the game (Donner, 2021).
SECTION 1
Question 1 - Discuss the importance of academic integrity in the higher
education.
The term academic integrity has been defined as the attribute which comprises of the several
standards which are taken in practices in order to finish the academic work of the institution with
commitment. It is the commitment of certain ethics and values which are being related to the
fundamentals of learning and guiding and the tasks related to the research in the company. This
measure provides the freedom to students and other concerned staff people to entertain new
ideas, innovation and understanding in their respective works while having proper monitoring.
Mainly it has been divided in three major parts which are research , teaching and their
facilitating. In terms of works, it is expected from the students, researchers and teachers to
maintain certain level of honesty, trust, and respect in relation to the work on academic area.
Moreover, the violation of rules with respect to the academic integrity are also refereed as the
academic misconduct (Castaño, Noeller, and Sharma, 2021).
A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher education
Academic integrity is the commitment from scholars, employees and staff members to manage
the moral and ethical behaviour in their course life. Academic integrity is a basic need of
learning, teaching and research at the Universities and provide free to their workers to create new
ideas and knowledge at the manner of contribution. It involves several section of the ethical

courses such as honesty, fair behaviour, orientated social control and loyalty that help them to
manage their orientated ideas and activities (Goel, 2021). As there are significance of academic
integrity for scholars, lecturers and management that are discussed below -
Students - For the scholars academic integrity will relates to the questioning, managing
ethical decisions and noticing guidelines. They must be real in learning, fair in attempting
analytical section with trust their staff members through which they can formed inspirational
environment. It involves mutual terms between students and vales to accept their mistakes and
become responsible for their actions through which they will have ethical courses in them and
will manage individuals to become responsible citizen and good person. By maintaining
academic integrity at the time of pursing higher educations that exist an efficient academic to
forward their manner to implement.
Lectures – Staff members will play critical role in providing conditions in ethical, value,
fairness and as well as responsibilities. They are main individuals of whole organisation that are
presenting their terms that are presenting to interact with their scholars and also shows like
themselves as well. By being someone's inspiration for their scholars for their workers that help
students to realizing the importance of academic integrity. Staff members should be willing to
minimise the practices in exams and motivate students to achieve their aims with loyalty (Cowie,
and Sakui, 2021).
Management – As the management managing higher education that are important to
manage the trust of society and other employees of college for their efficient functions. It should
be hold by academic integrity that are essential to create positive learning conditions that enables
students and teachers to learn with confidence. On the other hand, it involves that the academic
integrity in management that is termed as the policies and practices that might be effectively
applied by scholars through which they can take advantages of their academic integrity. It also
help them to create effective goodwill and good image in society that help them to impact
efficient scholars that have benefits in organisation in manner of monetary and skills (Filingeri,
Worsley, and Bader, 2021).
Significance in examination – If academic integrity is termed that have important division to
check the learning of scholars and teach them efficient sections during lectures. If it is completed
in unfair way then they that have lower values in the scholars and as well as in teachers.

As there are various sort of the activities in academic misconduct such as plagiarism, falsity of
data, dealing of cheating of unofficial methods to pass the examination and to gain unfair
advantages. As there are several sort of the academic misconduct that are as follows -
Plagiarism - It is related to the copying of other information without taking authorised
permission. If in some section, the author will revel then it will be the case of the plagiarism

Collusion - It is termed as the misbehaviour in which the manner of the task in
coordinative manner and it is suggested as the individual of the activities.
Falsity of data - Falsity is related as the misbehaviour in which the data of identification
that are construe with with the purpose of impacting research illustration.
Causes As there are various section for conducting the manner of academic
misbehaviour. By using online resources to copy the project is also in misbehaviour. For
universities, it comes to be important to involve various individual academic policies in the
process of advertising ethical behaviours in model. Due to deficiencies about the rules that are
connected with academic misconduct and plagiarism that are to be effective and efficient
(Piccirillo, 2021).

Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in producing the game for
Project 2:
Currently, when the educational possess the major importance in the people's lives, it is
essential to secure the academic integrity of it, in which there is risk of loss of reputation and self
esteem of the academics as well as of the students. In the today's era, there is a major effect on
the academics because of the increment in the academic misconduct that includes specially in the
plagiarism. In accordance to cope up with it and manage the academic integrity in the
organisations, I thought of few ideas in accordance to the contribution in securing the academics
Ready state. The thought which I evaluated was to make a game that can contribute in restricting
the academic misconduct. After evaluation of my idea, I decided to make the game which can
restrict the misconduct like the academic plagiarism. In my opinion, this thought is effectual as

the game supports in restrict the plage that can support people to understand the need of the
academic integrity which they can cherish and also help in preventing it more such misconduct.
When the thought was evaluated and implemented, I was ready to make the game that is
convenient as well as effectual for me and for others. Moreover to this, I examined to understand
the perks and benefits of the academic integrity in order to to encourage others to move ahead
towards preventing the academic misconduct as well as academic integrity. The game which I
made is called The Plag Check. It is made to understand the knowledge of the player in regards
academic misconduct as well as prevention of plagiarism. It consist several actions and activities
that contains several questions with the answers that are mentioned also and the right answer get
the more points and the team or individual who gets more points will win this game. My main
purpose to make the game was to spread the consciousness to restrict the plagiarism as well as
make people understand the need of the academic misconduct.
When I was making the game in order to prevent the plagiarism, I faced several issues
that includes the following :
The main issues which was faced by me during the production of the game was to design
the base as well as the structure of that particular game. I expected to make such a design
that will attract more and more users and also it shows the main concept of the prevention
of the academic misconduct in order to fulfil its purpose.
Next issue that is faced by me was to making the several questions which are related to
the plagiarism,, also I wanted maintain the difficulty of the questions at the low to
average level step by step in order to make all the people can enjoy the game and knows
the its goals.
Moreover to this, assembling of everything in one game and produce in such the manner
that the need of the academic integrity is shown in it. I wanted to pass the message to
restrict the plagiarism in the academics in accordance to make students learn about the
need of academic integrity for their development.

When I was making the game, I came to know that skills that I already have and I also
got the chance to develop new skills in me at the time of making the game. Few of them are
mentioned below briefly-
Writing Skills – When I was making this game, I required to make and frame various
questions that are related to the academic misconduct as well as linked to the plagiarism.
So, that my written skills got more better and quality of writing at the time of this process
and I also learnt several of methods as well as techniques in order to write appropriate
questions and answers.
Research skills – At the time of production of this game, I did not have the sufficient
knowledge in order to understand how to make a proper game. SO, with the help of deep
research I was able to make the and it has helped me in gaining this skill of mine.
Time management Skills – During the development of the game, I gave myself a limited
time in order to product the game in that particular time. So, it has helped me in
managing my time in accordance to the need and urgency.
Critical Thinking Skills – In order to frame the questions I developed this skill which
will help in me in my future.
Managing skills – When I was making this game I got the chance to develop my
managing skills as it requires appropriate management in order to produce the game on as
per the needs. So, it has helped me in widen my reach in order to make the game more
effectual.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that educational plays an essential role in the future
evolution of the people so it is essential that the students should possess the knowledge and need
of the academic integrity so it can become more genuine as well as trustworthy person. The idea
