INTRODUCTION
There is need for student to work in ethical and fair way. Every student studies in university
to gain knowledge and learning and make a successful career (Barnhardt and Ginns 2017). So,
they are required to follow few rules and regulations of university and adhere that in making
assignments. However, any misconduct done by them impact on their career growth in negative
way. They might get terminated or suspended from university. So, it requires for them to aware
about academic integrity to be honest towards university. This helps them to acquire relevant
knowledge and skills by doing all work ethically.
Here, in report a game is designed related to gaining knowledge about academic integrity. In
that it will be explained about why integrity is important and what skills are used to design game.

Game setting
The game will be played on spinning wheel where there are 5 colours on it that is purple,
pink, black, yellow and brown (Denisova-Schmidt 2017). The wheel will be placed on a stand
and each player will have to rotate that wheel for 1 time. Besides, same colour cards will also be
placed on table. On cards there will be a question written along with answer behind it.
How to play
There will be 3 teams of 3 players each. One member from each team is allowed to spin wheel.
So, there are 5 colours on wheel that is purple, pink, black, yellow and brown.
Besides, same colour cards is placed on table. On cards there is 1 question written along with
answer behind it.
Whatever colour comes on wheel then that team has to pick card of same colour.
They have to give answer of question printed back on that card.
For instance – if wheel pointer stops on purple colour then student is need to answer question of
same card colour.
If same colour comes twice or thrice than also team has to answer that colour card only.
There are no repetitive question printed on cards.
Question will be MCQ based and time given is 10 seconds.
The question are based of plagiarism, academic integrity and various other basic topics.

The purple card questions are of 2 points, pink is of 5 points, black is of 10 points, yellow is of
15 points and brown is of 20 cards.
Team scoring 100 points are winner.
No negative marking is done for giving wrong answer.
There is no option to pass question.

Why academic integrity is necessary in University?
As elucidated by Hanbidge, Mackenzie and Tin (2017), there are some laws and ethics
which are established by university for student. This enable student to work in ethical and fair
way. There are several reasons of necessity of academic integrity in University. Here, it is
important to give students the best chance of success by doing assessment tasks with an honest
attitude. Also, it is also important for students to avoid bad consequences like failing an
assignment or being asked to leave the university. The student invest their time and effort in
studying to get a degree, which will be a stepping stone to success in their chosen field or career.
What they learn at university will set the foundation for professional knowledge and practice.
Moreover, academic integrity safeguard student reputation and reflect on well being of university
and society. In addition, the student are able to pursue new ideas and build knowledge. They also
apply that knowledge in future to build a strong career. In personal life as well student is able to
work in fair way (Kwong, Wong and Yue 2017). Thus, it create a good and reputed image of
that person in society. Even employer also get impressed by way in which student shows
discipline and work in fair way to attain high marks and finish their studies.
Besides, as stated by Jagiello-Rusilowski (2017), student must be aware about what is
academic misconduct. He or she need to possess knowledge about it. This will be useful for them

to avoid plagiarism, misconduct, etc. moreover, by having proper knowledge student do all tasks
in ethical way. They do copy work of others. They become professional in their studies as well.
Also, in the opinion of Marsh and Campion (2018), academic integrity is necessary for
university as it prevent unethical writing and copying of work to student. Besides, it sets
standards and guidelines for student to follow to work in fair manner. In this responsibilities is
set of university in regard with how student should follow practice. When student is involved in
any misconduct then it can led to termination or suspension. This impact on their career growth
in negative way.
Skills used in designing of game
There were different skills which were used in designing of game. This was useful in
preparing game and writing its rules and instructions. With use of skills it was easy for me to
design game. It will also help me in my career growth and development. So, skills are defined as
follows :
Creativity skills- This was most relevant skill which I used. This is because in designing of game
it require creativity. It shows that how game has to be designed, what type of game must be, how
student can play, etc. I used by creativity skill to design an effective and unique game for
students. I also integrated this skill which my imagination.
Design skills- the skill was used by me to design game. Here, I used various software in order to
design game. Then, I tested game and find out that how it is suitable for student to gain
knowledge about academic integrity. I also used this skill to design a presentation of game. Thus,
I created an attractive poster of game in power point.
Research skills- I also used this skill to search on internet about various types of games, their
category, how it is played, etc. hence, I got idea about how to design a game and accordingly I
followed some steps in it. The skills benefited me to gain knowledge about game, procedure
followed for it, instructions to be made, etc. Furthermore, I got idea and knowledge about how
complexity level games, how it enhance knowledge of students, etc.
Presentation skills- It is also a skill which I used in game design. In that I made a framework
that how to create presentation, how overall game can be displayed, etc. with that I was able to
present and design game in attractive manner. I made power point as well of game and included
all main points in it.

Problem solving- I used this skill in solving problems that occurred during game design. In that I
analysed problem and then took out solution of it. This skill helped me to overcome issues in
game design. Thu, I was able to complete task in time.
Therefore, these are some skills used in game designing. This benefited a lot to me in
making things easy and deign game. I gained some experience as well of how entire preparation
is done.
