NTRODUCTION
The academic integrity is referred for the students that belongs to the intellectual setup
and the intellectual environment. These students should adhere to the code of conduct that has
been set up by the institution in which the students are studding. These are generally defined as
the practices that has been laid down by the teachers, professors and the research heads in the
institution. The following report will discuss the meaning of the academic integrity and its
importance in the higher education system, Moreover, this the report will also discuss the
reflective writing. Further, the steps that have been taken to over counter the difficulties while
producing game for the project 2 has also been discussed.
MAIN BODY
1.1 describing the meaning of academic integrity.
The academic integrity is referred as the principles that has been set up by the educational
institution and that should be followed by all the student in that particular academic institution.
The code of conduct, fair policy or the policy of ethics that the institution incorporates in the
structure of the institution should be adhered by all the students studding in that institution. The
academic integrity includes different expectation of the teachers, students and the researcher. All
the students must act with honesty, respect and the trust (Gottardello and Karabag, 2022). There
are several times when students do misconduct in the institution. This misconducted can only be
avoided by the academic principles and fair practices. The proper principles in the institution
ensure the maintenance of all the misconduct and the honest submissions. Not only this, it also
helps in ensuring that the credit is given to the student that has work hard for the project.
Breaching the moral code of conduct in the organization is simply referred as the academic
misconduct in the organization. This also involves academic dishonesty (Awasthi, 2019). The
academic dishonesty includes various things like plagiarism which simply means the act of
cheating done by the students. This is the process of that copies and pastes information laid down
by others. Plagiarism is the academic misconduct (Eaton, 2021).
The academic integrity and the proper rules in the institution helps to uphold the students
committent towards their projects and assignment given by the institution. They do project with
trust, honest and the respect after knowing all the academic codes. The mandatory framework
regulated and maintained in the structures in the higher education institutions not only helps
them in protecting their reputation. But all the Actions done by them also helps to increase

academic integrity of the course that leads to increase the reputation of the institution in the
future. The academic integrity of the organization is not only the theoretical framework but this
is a written format that will actually help learners in future as well.
1.2 understanding the Importance of academic integrity in higher education.
Academic integrity simply means to adhere all the principles that has been laid down by
the education institution (Raxmatovna, 2022). With the increasing technologies the academic
integrity is getting lost in today's time and people are more focusing on the cheating and just
doing assignment. The importance of academic integrity is given below-

The academic integrity helps students to give them the fair chances of success over others
in institution by submitting their own assessment and different submissions with all the honest
attitude, trust that is required in the institution (Bretag, 2018). This is necessary step for the
individuals to avoid failing is the exams and assessments as it enhances the skills of an
individual. Money, time and efforts involved in the major assignments will going to lead basis of
professional practice and the knowledges that is required in the institution.
The importance for academic integrity in creating the new ideas are as follows-
The academic integrity helps student in institution to enhance creativity and generate new
ideas. This is done to avoid plagiarism as students will not cheat. It is done by giving proper
credits to the students that will enhance their creativity in generating new ideas. Students that
follow all the guidelines incorporate new ideas in different work environment as they know they
will get the acknowledgement for the same and their reputation will increase. The way of doing
assessment and assignment of student will test and will develop his knowledge and personal
skills as well.
The importance of academic integrity for university is as follows-
All the university must be consistent to increase the students number in the university ans
that only can be achieved when the students follow academic integrity that in turn enhances the
value of the school. This ensures the standards of the university. The students' behaviour in the
institution impacts how other see the university from the outside. Proper academic integrity helps
the university to increase the confidence of all the students that graduate from the school. The
university today takes very serious route to avoid the misconduct in the organization.

Discussing the application of academic misconduct-
The Academic misconduct is referred for the students that don't follow ethical conduct of
the school. This also says the students cheat in every possible way and imaginable methods for
doing assignments (Guerrero-Dib, Portales, and Heredia-Escorza 2020). It has serious impact
upon the professional life of a student. The value of student decreases every time he performs
any misconduct. Academic misconduct boundaries are not limited only to the school, but it has
serious impact upon the professional career as well. It also covers the academic environment and
the working environment of the student.
The other implication is has on the society as the capability to cheat and perform such
misconducts remains with the student all his life, and he continuously does these activities which
leads to his reputation loss. The companies and the institution he work with can fire the person
performing misconduct. His self-esteem, individual dignity gets lost (Parnther, 2020).

2.1 Reflecting on steps taken to develop the game and challenges faced in its production-
Spin the Wheel Is the game that has been selected for the purpose of this assignment. By
the name itself, the game is very popular and has barrier on the age boundary of the players.
Designing this game involved various steps. The major steps are been discussed below and all
the kinds of difficulties that are involved with the production process has also been discussed
below-
Building idea for the game- The first step involved while designing game is to build the idea to
form the game. The idea has been designed in such a way that It involves academic integrity of
the students playing this game. The forming of idea for the purpose of the game is the first step-
up.
Planning and development of game- developing game according to idea that has been decided
in the first step-up is next step involved in the game. This step also defines how game will played
and what will be the rules of the game.
Organizing all the resources- organizing all the resources in the next step. The financial
resources must be set in such a way that both human and financial resources' requirement are
fulfilled. Different type of IT equipment must be compiled together to form the game.
Production- This step consists of the actual process of production. After, compiling all the
resources the next step is the work on the production department of the game. The game spin the

wheel must be put into motion. This is basically the steps that is responsible for converting
theory into the practice. All the resources must be organized according to the production process
of game designing (Laine and Lindberg, 2020).
Testing- testing is very crucial step while designing the game in the organization. Testing
involves various steps that checks whether game formed Is working as per the requirement of the
production or not the defects if occurred must be resolved and then altered.
Launch- Launching game is the final step involved in designing game. The game designed must
be fit as per the designing department and must have zero defect in it.
The process above got certain challenges. The first challenge came while designing game
as game designing is not an easy task. It took time to get into the process of designing. The other
difficulty was to decide which game to choose for this purpose as game must not get unnoticed.
It should be such a way that it enhances the academic integrity of an individual. The other thing
was to balance the fun factor that with an educational value. Both are important to create the
perfect gaming environment that will raise their knowledge as well in the organization.
2.2 Skills learnt in the process of game design and development
There were numerous skills that I learnt through the process of game designing. These
will give me no. of opportunity in designing and developing more such games in the future. The
structure that I choose for this assignment was Spin the wheel game. The first skills that I got to
learnt is the art of decisiveness that simply defines taking right decisions on the right time to
fulfil the right purposes. Art of decisiveness is important in each aspect of life. This skill was
enhanced in me by taking all the important decision during the process of game development.
There were certain difficult decisions that I took like organizing financial resources. Financial
resources are very important to design game and giving designer proper resources at right time
that will improve the process of game designing. Further, it help me to build my team
management skill. Managing team is not an easy task but the skill I learnt during this process
will help me to manage team (Hasan and Hassan, 2021). . I also learnt the skill of allocation.
Resources allocation build the leadership skill in me (Baker and Gilkey, 2020).
All these above learning will help me to enhance my knowledge in all spheres of life.
The concept of academic internity is also something that I learnt during this process of designing
game. Personally I think that it will encourage me towards not only building good team
atmosphere but also building the working environment that is necessary for the work structure.

These skills, when fully developed, will improve my academic confidence, professional career
team leadership skills and the work ethic in me. The future growth scenarios are dependent on
the work I have done all and this acquired skills have a positive effect on my resume application
and the job that will be going to offer in the future. Around the globe companies in all over the
world are hiring employees that possess skills such as understanding, trustful, and work hard for
their future. Commitment is most important skill that was major learning in the process of
designing game. This will help me to reach the position of excellence in the field that I will
choose to enter the future. To have patience is also one of the skill that is the need of the
corporate environment today, without patience no one has ability to survive. During the process
of game designing I got so many hurdles and the one hurdle was definitely to listen to all the
members of the team which was not an easy task. Patience is the skill that can only be learnt
when any individual work in group assignment and this group assignment of designing game
helped me lot to deal with my patience level.
CONCLUSION
The report discuss above defines the meaning of academic integrity and how academic
integrity helps students to enhance their skills and the knowledge. The report also address the
implication of performing misconduct In the organization. Furthermore, the report design game
in section2 and discusses the various steps that has been involved with it. At last the report is
discussing then various skills that has been learnt throughout the process of game designing and
how those skills will help in the future.
