INTRODUCTION
Integrity in academic refers to doing the work with full honesty and having strong morals
principle towards the academic education (Denisova, 2018). Increase of student’s education from
lower to higher the role of integrity also increases with the same rate. Students should behave
responsibly for the work assigned to them and should follow the values of integrity in higher
academy. In this report we will understand the importance of academic integrity and the
implication of academic misconduct. Furthermore, the steps and difficulties in producing the
game and skills learned during the game.
Section- 1
Importance of academic integrity in higher education
Integrity in academic education is important because it creates discipline and freedom in
doing any work. High integrity leads to more knowledge and more accuracy in work with fewer
errors (Bradley, 2018). If the values of integrity are followed in an academy it will help to
enhance the overall quality of work and management between teachers and students. Basically in
all the universities use of integrity is must because of this every student will get a chance to
participate in every creative ideas and competitions. Integrity is a responsibility of each member
in a university for proper discipline and accuracy in each level work. It is important for the
university image in worldwide for more advancement and growth. The university with high
integrity in higher education is more competitive among all the universities. For this every
students should develop new ideas and thoughts and presenting in front of everyone for the work
assigned to them. The teachers should listen to every student’s thoughts and ideas for better
understanding between them or for better team work.
Integrity has five fundamental values which are

teacher and the teachers also listening to the students thoughts, new ideas and
creative thinking it creates mutual respect between them.
Responsibility: Management and the staffs or all the teachers and students should
work with full responsibility their assigned task (Sotiriadou, 2020). If a person is
not doing its task responsibly then the person is misconducting integrity in a
university.
Due to covid-19 the teachers are taking online classes and the need for integrity has
increased due to misconduct activities. Use of Online teaching made the importance of
integrity in higher education so important for proper conducting of education between
teachers and the students.
Implication of academic misconduct
Academic misconduct is an activity of cheating, leaking papers and fraud by the students
and teachers for doing any assignment and exercise (Parnther, 2020). There are number of
implications occur when misconducting academic activities by an individual. The university
takes strict actions towards any misconduct found in an organisation whether it is little or more.
If the student is involved in any kind of misconduct in exams then the teacher may deduct its task
or remove the student from the class. The university can also take strict actions against any
misconduct by any one in a university like suspension, or discharge. The academic misconduct
by any students is not good for the goodwill or image of a university. The teachers are regularly
guiding students to not involve in any kind of academic misconduct.

taking the classes. They are taking more time in other activities and using social media
while doing the classes. They are not giving proper time or concentrating in the classes.
Psychological factor: The students and teachers both are not paying attention to the
classes and not involving themselves for creating new ideas. Students are avoiding asking
any query or neither problems nor the teacher is providing the same.

Reflection on steps needed to developing the game
Setting objective: The first and foremost step is to set the objectives of game for which it
is been developed (Maksymchuk, 2018). My objective for developing this game is
developing different skills in students and making them learn new things and create new
ideas through this game. Making them understand the game is all about developing their
own personal skills.
Extensive research: Before developing this game I have to gather information from
different fields for better working of this game (Dawson, 2020). I have to research each
activity that will be included and there pros and cons. I used only those activities which
will increase the knowledge and skills of the students.
Developing the concept: I started checking different games and activities to check which
game is helpful or increasing the knowledge of students and teachers. I selected the
games which will create or make the students and teachers learn more knowledge. I
selected the game which will develop the skills of the students and teachers too.
Assembling resources: Then I started assembling the resources and tools which are
required for the game activities. Different games required different resources and I
assemble all the teachers and staff needed for these games for better supervision of
activity (Biagioli, 2019).
Organising the people: Furthermore, I assigned all of them their particular duties and
roles each activity and game has two supervisors for better coordination. I organised
different groups of student’s different roles according to their task. Changing their task on
weekly basis so they will learn different skills from different games.
Testing the game: Last step of me is after doing all the activities I started getting all the
feedbacks from all the students and teachers to check my accuracy in game design.
Observing the activities and checking the task to know whether this game is making them
learn new skills or not (Viberg, 2018).

Difficulty in making and conducting the game

difficult and it becomes difficult for me to set objectives because of my low critical
thinking skills. I don’t have knowledge in every field so it becomes difficult for me to
plan properly. Lack of knowledge creates confusion and misunderstanding between the
teachers and the students (Blackmore, 2018).
Time management: Every activity and task required different time and it becomes hectic
for me to arrange all the activities on perfect time. Each student takes different time in
different activities for understanding it is a hard task for me to arrange each task a
particular time. It is difficult for me to decide which student will take how much time in
which activity for more accuracy.
Limited resources: It is difficult to arrange all the resources properly on time because of
limited resources it makes the task hard for me. Arrangement of tools and students on
each game for developing skills is a bit complicated task. Different activity required
different tools and staff for doing the task properly for developing students skills.
Lack of attention: Furthermore, students and teachers are not paying attentions on doing
this task properly. Students are not taking any interest in doing the task or activities and
neither the teachers. They don’t even exchanging their ideas with each other and not
giving any creative ideas and producing new thoughts.
Authority and responsibility: The students are not doing the task with full responsibility
and taking the task seriously. The teachers are also not taking the authority for managing
and doing the task. Both of them are not fully taking their responsibility and become
difficult for me to arrange the task.
Skills developed during the designing of game
Motivation skill: After arranging all the teams my motivation skills has improved
because of interacting and teaching the students. I started guiding students and teachers
and checking their accuracy for performing task. By encouraging students for performing
better made my motivation skills strong.
Problem solving skill: Deciding and organising various plans and activities I started
solving a lot of problems that are arising in between the plans. I started listening to the

Thus from evaluation of above report, it can be concluded that, academic integrity is
important in higher education for the development of students carrier. Misconduct of academic
integrity by anyone including the students, teachers and the staff the university will take various
strict actions. Academic misconduct is bad for the image of students as well as the university and
goodwill of the organisation. It has been determined in the present report that integrity in
designing the game is important to learn and developed new skills and knowledge. Besides, it

has been concluded that lacking of any skill will lead to difficulty in designing any game or plan
successfully and creating games will help to develop new skills.
