INTRODUCTION
Education is one of the important aspect in individuals life, it embarks and make the
person to grow with a complete knowledge and betterment. The education empowers the person
and develops skills in an individual which helps them to acquire there future goals. Education
will thereby provides the basic knowledge as it starts from the Academic skills without which
the knowledge is incomplete(Aliu, and Aigbavboa, 2019). Academic skills are the basic skills
which covers all the initial learning outcomes that helps in the growth like reading, writing,
presentations etc. as in all the basic implications academic skills are thereby being more
important for growth. This report will cover the Academic integrity, its importance in educations
and there further implications inn academic misconducts.
Section 1
Explain the description of Academic Integrity.
Academic integrity amounts to the commitment and the moral behaviour in academic
sessions. It governs all the ethical policies and moral code in the academics. It helps out in
avoiding the misconducts and the plagiarism in the behaviour . Academic integrity maintains and
develops the knowledge, as in all the educational institutions there has been analysed that
academic integrity is there by being the core element and it frames out all the methods and the
practises through which the misconducts in account of any education is being avoided. This
helps in pertaining all the individuals behavioural approach through which the misconducts that
are being made by any person can there by be changed.
The academic integrity teaches the person some ethics that are important in all the
learning outcomes and in the behaviour of an individual which plays an important role that are as
follows:
 Fairness- This teaches the person that all the individual should there by be treated fairly
and in the education sector all the students will have to be treated properly without any
issue by maintaining equality and transparency.(Reifinger 2018).
 Respect- The students should give respect to there teachers by listening to them and by
doing the works allotted to them. As giving respect to the teachers is the moral and the
academic conduct of a person.

 Responsibility- All the individual will have to work with proper integrity as in order to
maintain the proper relations the individual will have to acknowledge there daily
accountability to there teachers and also do try to complete all the task that are needed to
be performed.
 Trust- The academic integrity is generalised by maintaining the trust in all the
individuals and through this all the person in the educational sector should maintain the
transparency and equality among all the members and there policies(Brick, 2020).
 Honesty- The student or the individual will have to do all there efforts fairly without any
misleading. As the academic integrity is b being maintained by the teachers and the
students so they both have to maintain the honest relation in between them.
The importance of academic integrity in higher education.
As all the education system works on the academic integrity and they covers the moral
and the ethical values through which the standard of the education is being raised the
transparency, honesty and clarity is important between the students and there professors. There
are various reasons as for the importance of the academic integrity as it helps out in framing all
the ethical areas and conducts. In the higher eduction the academic integrity is there by being
important for certain reasons which are as follows:
 By the help of academics integrity the reputation of the higher educations can there by be
maintained as they follows the ethics and all the moral conducts which provides the value
and standard to the education sectors.
 It protects the students interest in all the areas who do not do any academic misconduct
and this helps in maintaining the confidence in the students and trust is being build in all
the individuals for that educational sector.
 The academic integrity helps in all the higher education areas to maintain a strong
balanced relation between the professor and the students and that also create trust in them
and also about there institutions.
 It credits the right person for all the hard work that is being made by them. The individual
and the staff helps the university and also in maintaining the student's image and
confidence up to the mark, which means that all the proper credits helps to motivate the
student about there work and make them confident(Rahmat and et. al., 2020).

Thus, the academic integrity helps out all the higher education sectors to maintain there image in
the students and it also helps to develop the confidence and the trust in the students about the
education sector. It implies all the varies areas and the nature through which the institutions can
influence the individuals attain the confidence in there working. There are various universities
which have the teams in order to check the misconduct that is being performed by the students
and on violation the teams take proper action against the person who has made the misconduct.
The implications of academic misconduct .
The academic implications usually arise when the academic dishonesty has been taken
place it means all the actions taken by the students or the members in the education sectors in
order to create the unfair academic advantages. The main misconduct in the academic areas are
cheating, plagiarism, falsification of the data or any other dishonest behaviour which pertains to
affect the institutions(Wentzel, 2017). As it is the responsibility of the person to maintain the
relation and to follow all the ethical and moral norms, in case when this is not being made it
results in academic misconduct there are various misconducts that are as follows: Cheating- The frauds, deception of any paper, assignment and any project tends to be
cheating. There applies that cheating is being applies to be the misconduct behaviour as it
amounts to affect the ethical values and the morals of the institutions. Plagiarism- It means that the representation of any other person's words, work and the
statements without even acknowledging them will amount to plagiarism. This effects the
rights and the morals of the other person as it attributes to make the ethical knowledge
and creates the unacceptability in the person.
 Falsification- All the fabrication of the data and taking the academic records fraudulently
will amount to falsification and when any student in order to get any information ndo
such things then it amounts to falsification.
By all such misconducts there has been made the violation and it effects the
institutions as well as the students as this is m orally and ethically being wrong. The Academic
misconduct affects the image of the university and the reputation is badly being affected by it.
This also discourage the morals of the students and make the, undermines in all the areas through
which the institutions image is being retarded ( Owens, and LillMuntaner-Mas and et. al., 2017).
Thus academic misconduct tends to make an adverse affect on all the educational
organisation and it demotivate the students and the teachers as they loose the confidence and are

discourage by certain activities. So all this is needed to be avoided in order to maintain a good
and healthy environment in the institutions(Wette, 2019).
SECTION 2
Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in producing the game.
As I felt that academic integrity is the most important elements and it helps in
maintaining the trust and the balance in the institution. I had also examined that in all the
academic areas and there working it is important for all the person to follow the norms and the
ethical value that implies and gives the integrity to the work.
While analysing all such methods I obtained an idea as in order to make a game so as to
check the plagiarism and that too in an interesting manner. So I made a spinning wheel
plagiarism this game helps the students and the individual to get a deep knowledge about the
academic misconduct and with that all the knowledge of plagiarism.
I had tried to make a wheel with multicolour cards and all those cards will have some
points and questions and the person will have to spin the wheels and give the accurate answers
and earn points. But there are some difficulties which I faced while making the game they are as
follows:
 I felt it difficult to make the questions for the game as this is quiet a tough task to make
certain question which will help the individuals to gain knowledge.
 The designing of the game was also been quiet stressfully as designing something
attractive and getting the creativity which attracts the individual is quiet difficult.
 The most hectic task was to link and organise the game with the academic integrity so it
will teach the ethics and the morals to persons.
Thus, all this things were actually stressful, but I managed it as the main aim is to make
the individuals life easy for all the work that is being done by them and avoiding all the academic
misconducts. This game will help in attaining the proper information about the plagiarism and
with that indicates the areas in which the academic misconducts can there by be avoided.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those emphasized in
producing your game
As this game is being created in order to remove the plagiarism and to maintain the
academic integrity I had used various strategies and the approaches in order to frame out ion an

easy and interesting manner so that it will increase the knowledge and interest of the individuals.
In this mean the time I just noticed that there are certain skills which I had developed and
enhanced in this academic year, they are as follows: Power point Knowledge- I already have a bit knowledge about the power point but while
making this game I get a depth experience about all the slides and the methods through
which it can present my game in a better way. This skill is being developed properly and
helped me out in academic integrity. Written skills- I gained the written skills knowledge through this as I maintained all the
areas and the methods in which the questions were being framed by me in that spinning
wheel plagiarism. The written skills helps the individual in order to maintain the proper
working in the writing segments. Organisation skills- This skill is being made in order to maintain and organise the
necessity and the required resources for various projects and assignments. I learned this
in this mean time by attaining proper knowledge in the games and allocating its
resources. Design skills- This skill helps in pertaining various design of all the resources and the
method through which the work can be framed in proper manner. I was able to learn this
skill and make the proper framing of design in various projects.
 Imagination and creativity- Through this skill an individual can adapt a proper thinking
ability by enhancing the capacity of attaining the knowledge. It makes the person ton
think and expand there idea of increasing the perception by giving the ideas for future
programmes.
In all this skills I just learned the organisation skills and imagination skills and
this helped me in assessing the projects in a better way and implementing it for academic
integrity.

CONCLUSION
From this above report it is concluded that academic integrity is an important element in
all the educational institution. It helps out to maintain the ethical norms and culture, and also
develops the skills through which the students and the professors develop the balance and the
complete equation in between them. This report cover all the importance of academic integrity
with the implications of academic misconducts. Furthermore, it is also analysed that the Spinning
wheel game for plagiarism utters and important aspect in all the misconducts that is happening in
the academic sessions.
