Introduction
Academic integrity is the moral code or ethical policy of academia which is following
by education system for the purpose of running their activities. In other words,
academic integrity is the expectation that teachers, researchers, students, and all
members that take part in different courses for the purpose of developing their skills
and abilities in specific area. This is most important for students to understand the
value of academics and follow it while doing any kind of work (MacLeod, and Eaton,
2020). The academic community acts with fairness, honesty, trust, responsibility, and
respect that can help to manage all working and activities. The present report is
divided in two sections. The section one involves description of integrity, importance
and implications. The second section involves reflection on skills and abilities.
Section 1
An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity
Academic Integrity is the working and activities which is performing by
students, researchers, and members with honesty as well as responsibility. This is
important for people to understand their roles and responsibility to work that can help
to manage the work and perform well. While working and managing any functions
academic integrity make sure that all work would be done effectively by sourcing
information and data. All higher education students are expected to uphold academic
integrity during their studies by contacting their teachers or school. This supports to
identify study problem and working with them by getting solutions (Holden,
Kuhlmeier and Norris, 2020). For example, when a student goes to school and
college then it needs to learnt all skills and learnings which is teaching by tutor as all
can be used in any times while making right action. To manage working and
organizational performance having integrity is good as it supports to complete the
work with responsibility and accountability. If there is any problem arises between
working, then academic integrity is one that use to manage the all workings and
bring changes in their work. If someone is working with traditional way and does not
wants to bring improvement, then academic helps to improve the working method
and manage all functions as well as game effectively (Lynch, Salamonson, Glew and
Ramjan, 2021).

A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher
education
Academic integrity is important in higher education as it allows students and
staff the freedom to build new ideas, knowledge, and creative works during
respecting and acknowledging the work of others. When a project is assigning to
students then it became important to follow ethics and integrity in their working. This
helps to build confidence to work right and complete the goals. Study and learning
provides knowledge which is expected of a graduate from different courses but doing
any kind of cheating and misconduct could miss professional skills and practices that
acquired to become successor in building future career (Abdaoui, 2018). Thus, it is
important for each student to follow academic integrity during managing study and
taking participation in different courses. Academic integrity is used to putting values
into practice by being honest in academic work which learns at university. By
following this, student be ready to take responsibility in any working and manage it
effectively.
This can help to maintain fundamental to the work of whole academic
community, involving teachers, students, coordinators, and administrators. This can
help to formulate the new policies and activities that promote and uphold academic
and research integrity. This also helps to address allegations of misconduct by
managing all working. This provides staff and student with training and guidance how
to maintaining academic research and integrity. This can help to respond quickly by
bringing changes and managing the productivity effectively. The academic integrity
ensures people that records of investigations and outcomes should be keep safe,
secure, and confident. This can help to maintain higher performance by developing
knowledge and insights in particular field. The continuous learning and academic
also ensure a continuous activity of improvement that used to monitor the
occurrence by addressing underlying causes. This will also help students to work
collaboratively and bringing changes in their existing performance (Veerachamy,
2021).

is misconduct in academics, then student will not be able to improve their skill and
abilities. If there is academic misconduct then it impacts on students, teachers, and
individual schools and no work would be done effectively. This also creates a feeling
of conflicts between students and staff that does not support any working. The
people cannot improve their skills and knowledge in particular field, if academic
misconduct is happening in study (Bjelobaba, 2018).
The college take academic integrity violations very seriously that direct affect
working negatively. The misconduct like plagiarism, cheating, break of policy and
regulation while designing the game that could fail the student in their examinations.
The students will not learn new things and keep continue their working with
traditional way. For example, while preparing the project students have not followed
integrity and ethics that affected the working and task of individual (Nagarajan and
Bevinakoppa, 2018).
Section 2
Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in
producing the game for Assignment 2
When I was designing a game, I focused on different task and ethics that
need to follow. My tutor has assigned a project of producing games where I came to
know different skills and abilities that should have in people to manage work. The
student should have good communication skills, practical, technological, game
playing skills that can help to design the game. While designing the game I faced the
difficulty of confusion as I need to design the game but I was confused that what type
of game should I produce (Keller, 2021). This difficulty encountered by me by
selecting an exercise base game. This will help to keep healthy and sharp mind of
people who will take part in games that develop performance and productivity. The
second difficulty faced by me was use of new technology as I felt fear to use new
technology and work with modern method that created issues for me to design the
game. It became a challenging situation for me where I need to resolve problems by
bringing new technology and activities effectively. The another difficulty faced by me
is plagraism in working that created issue for me to re-done the project. To resolve
this issue became important for me as because it could help to complete any project

with appropriate skills and sources. I solved this issue by developing new ideas,
generating own sentences by getting information from other sources. Thus, I
resolved this difficulty by developing new ideas, and thoughts on the bases of
specific topic that provided me support to produce the game. I have built mind
mapping game where no plagiarism was found and my tutor appreciated me for this
working and completing project effectively (Abdullah, and Karim, 2019).
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those
emphasized in producing your game
Skills and abilities are important for students which needs to have in students
while studying in college and University. As I was While producing the game based
on exercise I faced problem of lack of qualified team members, lack of tutor support,
improper communication between students, that encountered by me. I started to take
regular classes where I learnt how to design a game, so I solved the major problem.
To resolve communication and practical skills I continued practices and observe my
senior that how they share information and manage the work which I applied while
producing the game. To improve the difficulty of team build, I analyzed the skills and
abilities of people who have attended the lectures along with me that supported to
complete the assignment and maintain all functions properly (Packalen and
Rowbotham, 2020).
When I was producing game I analyzed that I am lack in time management
skills that defeat me in every task as I unable to manage all functions and activities in
given time period. I solved my time management skills by observing my senior that
tells me to give priority important task first and prepare a schedule for other activities
which needs to be complete in given period. I also noticed that I was good courage
which is used to take responsibility of developing project and managing all activities
that supports to improve the performance (Korinna, 2020). While producing game I
improved my integrity such as I learnt there is need to use information appropriately
as per prepared laws, to acknowledge where the information comes from, to present
other people’s work as your own so that should not be copy. There is need to
generate own ideas and thoughts that can help to bring changes in existing
performance. To manage the organizational and other working by using own skills
and observing senior that helps to improve integrity in academics. This can help to

develop the business skills and productivity by managing all functions and activities
(Cliplef, McInnes, Munn and Rexe, 2021).
Conclusion
From the report it can be concluded that academic integrity is the basis of
college’s goal that enable to exchange of ideas and thoughts for the purpose of
developing new one. To avoid academically misconduct such as plagiarism,
falsification, and lack of transparency mainly cited as way to promote academic
integrity. The five pillars of integrity are honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and
responsibility that used by people or students to develop their understanding and
managing all functions effectively. It has been seen that everyone is personally
invested in performing their work with integrity and encourage others to act same.
This can help to develop understanding and learning ability of student while taking
responsibility of any project.
