Introduction
Education is the integrated part of the human life as it play an significant role in the
enhancement of their career. An education includes the certain skills, reading, spelling and
writing the academic aspects which can leads to have the development in of the individual.
Students who are having the such skills an easily undergo their studies and they tends to enjoy
the academic success in compassion to the people who do not posses such skills(Alajami,
2020). This encourages the people to be the better leader or the manager in their future career
as these skills critical thinking, problem- solving which can leads to have the higher success.
This report will cover the importance and meaning of academic integrity, concept of
academic misconduct. Lastly, It will analyse the concept of academic misconduct and
reflection on steps taken and the certain difficulties faced while producing the game.
Section 1
Explanation of Academic Integrity.
It is the commitment or the principles of the individual for the particular task and the
honesty of the individual for an specific academic setting. Academic integrity is the
principles of the individual that they can entrusted towards their work and study so that they
can get the better results in an organisation. It support the values of the educational institute
and the behaviour in order to avoid the plagiarism and cheating and also emphasis on
maintaining the standards of honesty in academic and research publishing. There are five
values by which academic integrity can be marked and also have the positive conservation in
relation to support and guidance to learning the academic learning which is explained as
follows:
Trust: Effective working relationships can be made by waving trust between the
people so that they can form the system in which the individuals are working with the
equal and fair treatment to all. They also form some sort of polices so that they can
feel trusted and equality.
Honesty: It is also called as sincerity for the specific work where the people are
honest and having the certain abilities by which they represent their efforts in an
appropriate manner.
Respect: It is the value which is being given to the individual to their aspects so that
they can effectively establish some sort of effectiveness at the workplace. It is the
point of view of the other person which can be shown by listening to the other

individuals. They must emphasis on giving their best by having integrity and abilities
and instruct the people to stay honest for the given task.
Fairness: It is the aspects which is being evaluated by the every individual as they
feel that they must be judges with the same sort of standards so that equality can be
established within the workplace.
Responsibility: It is the accountability or the concern of the individual for which they
are doing their work with the consideration of having influence to the community as a
whole. Every person invest their work in the integrity of the individual so that they
can effectively complete their given task in an appropriate manner.
Importance of academic integrity in higher education.
An individual is having the integrity is the one who is honest and trustworthy at the
same time. It is necessary for the person to have some sort of personal values so that they can
reflect their credibility and their characteristics. During the academic period, Having effective
academic integrity shows the career achievement of the individual in their given work. An
individual is having some sort of integrity while completing their assignment in honest and
fair manner. This aspect can be compromise by the student during their higher educations
when the learner cheats which can let down the morals and principals of the individual.
Significance of academic integrity are explained as follows:
The academic integrity contribute in building trust among the students and the staff so
that they can have the positive learning environment in their institution. Student
conduct research and development by which they learn with the confidence with the
help of trust and honesty among the learners(Lomness and et. al.,2021).
The academic integrity establish the environment which is having the mutual trust,
honesty and respect & responsibilities as these values promote other individual in
respect to their given work to be done in a fair manner. Student able to learn more in
such environment so that they can have the better development in the future.
As per the academic integrity, the higher education helps in gaining the goodwill in
the educational institutions as all the students are following the norms in which they
are having the certain principals so that they can effectively maintain the right
approach of the person and their dignity in an organisation.
Academic integrity comes from the honesty of the individual as they move or do
some specific task in a well defined manner. They also results in acknowledging the
work of the other individual in order to establish the positive working or learning

It is very necessary for the higher education learners so that they can attain their all
the task in an appropriate manner by which they can eliminate the negative or
dishonest behaviour which effects the overall credibility of the university or the
educational institutions and they are having high standards of academic integrity as
they maintain their goodwill and also contribute to the welfare of the society, also
establish public trust towards the academic institutions.
Implications of academic misconduct .
Academic misconduct is defined as the action taken by the individual for conducting
the unfair misconduct in an educational institutions. It is a type of cheating which is being
initiated by the individual in relation to their formal academic exercise and also effect the
overall reputation of the institutions. There are various types of activities which are included
in various types of academic misconduct are explains as follows: Plagiarism- It is the process of using intellectual material which is being produced by
the other person and it is being used without acknowledgment of the source(Chugh
and et. al., 2021). It is the main concern of the institutions which includes the
paraphrasing the existing matter related to the specific topic, using specific insights or
the view of the other person without acknowledging or wholesale copy of the
passages from the person. Falsification- It is the activity which prevent the evidence, data, citation or the
information which is being used by the other person. All this move is being done by
the individual without the permission of the individual or changing any information,
grade report or the academic document.
Cheating- It is defined as the fraud or the dishonesty which is being done by the
individual in their academic assignment by using inappropriate material which is
prohibited in context to academic learning. This also includes the copying during the
examinations from the others person assignment.
All these factors comes under the umbrella of the academic misconduct but is not the
complete list as this also includes other factors also. It also helps in having the great impact o
the academic integrity so that they can effectively make the better choice in the academic
integrity. This not only harm the reputation of the educational institutions and also affect the
future development of the student. There can be serious consequences of the academic
misconduct and probably leads to the expulsion or suspension of the student from the

premises. It also violated the academic integrity within the premises and it is shown that
academic institution have their morals, ethics, and principals in order to have the positive
learning environment for their learners. Any violation of it can leads to resultant in harming
the reputation of the institution and also create negative impact on the Universities or
institutions.

Project 2
In today's time, education plays an significant role in the development of the
individual's career in order to protect their academic integrity which can harm the goodwill of
the educational institutions. In the current times, there is a major impact on the academics as
increasing competition in the market can influence the overall efficiency of the individual.
Due to increasing academic misconduct which generally involves plagiarism. In order to
cope-up with this and maintain the academic integrity within the institution, I have generated
some sort of idea which can protect the academic integrity and this idea also leads to
eliminate the academic misconduct. I came with some idea which can contribute to the
academic integrity. After evaluating my idea, I have decided to produce the game which can
reduce the plagiarism in assignments. According to me, this idea is helpful in producing the
game so that academic integrity can be maintained by which students can enjoy their
academic learning.
When the idea is successfully decided, then I choose to produce the game which is
easy to operate and then after this, I have gathered the advantages of academic integrity by
which I can influence the other person to move forward for academic integrity. The game is
known as “Choose Integrity” It is designed with the consideration of having assess
knowledge of the player in relation to the plagiarism and the academic misconduct. Student
must login and making the best alternative so that they have to choose the right medium in
order to play the game. They need to select the ball and answer the questions which are
related to the selection growth and opportunities. My focus is to produce the game in order to
spread awareness for preventing the plagiarism and significance of academic integrity. There
are certain difficulties which is being faced by me while producing the game for plagiarism
are given below:
Major problem which is being faced by me was to make the blue print of the game
and I wanted to have the design by which I can attract the person who can enjoy the

Another problem is having certain problems which is being faced by me is related to
the questions and their framing. Which is at the average level so that every individual
can enjoy the game and understand its motive.
Assembling of game is the another issue by which significance of academic integrity
can be reflected in the game. Main motive is to convey the message by which I can
reduce the plagiarism in the assignments.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those emphasized in producing
your game
When I was producing the game, I have identified the certain skills of mine and I also
got the opportunities to order to get new skills while producing the game and these are given
below:
Power point knowledge- While producing the game, I use to make many PowerPoint
presentations but at the time of producing a game I have developed more tools for
presenting my idea.
Organisation skills- When I was producing the game, I am weak in organizing my
resources so I learned to organize and work within the set time frame which shows by
inner capabilities.
Imagination and creativity- while producing the game and making the blueprint of
the idea, I grab the opportunities in order to sharpen my creative skills by which I can
easily design my game in an efficient manner.
Conclusion
It is concluded from the above report that education have an significant role in the
career development of the individual as it is necessary for the future of the student must have
the certain knowledge and significance of academic integrity which makes them honest and
trustworthy. The main concept of the academic integrity is important so that they can
maintain the reputation of the educational institutions. This report also involve the certain
ways by which plagiarism can be identified and eliminated.
