INTRODUCTION
Academic integrity refers to a concept to the avoidance of plagiarism, cheating or any type of
academic misbehavior along with misconduct which is the one which can done in workplace or
class and can be identified by a manager or a teacher. Generally it can seen in educational
institution and can be noticed that some of process, statements and policies. In this report. there
is it discussion about academic integrity along with its importance. There is also discussion about
the implication of academic misconduct. This report also consist of different steps and
difficulties which is the experience during producing any games and skills which are acquired
and learned during making any game (Shrivastava, (2017)).
TASK 1
Introduction and description of academic Integrity
Academic integrity is highly important for any university and students both. It refers to
violence of any plagiarism or misconduct which has been done by any student or any employee
at their workplace. This can be refers to cheating of assessment for assignment that are been
prepared by students/ plagiarism refers to copy of someone else work during misconduct.
Academic integrity generally focuses on honesty along with well-being of student. This can help
them not to copy from any other student and should perform their work honestly. Example-
student who is completing his assignment and responsible for writing report and he should not
copy from any other sources or author which need to complete. This assignment on his own with
honesty.
Importance of academic integrity
Academic integrity plays an important role in university and its students. This is the one
which helps student for submitting their work and this helps University for making better
reputation within country. Students should use their knowledge which shows their responsibility
towards the university and assignment. University need to confirm and ensure that students
should not copy the assignment from other sources or other students assignment. Student
submission should be honestly done. Moreover, when any university found fraud in assignment
of any student which is copied from other sources or there is presence of plagiarism. Then
students should get punishment (Gobie, (2020)). So, this is one of the main reason that students
should not copy the assignment from other students or other sources. There is need to follow

University rules and regulation and misconduct or cheating in their assignment. This rule and
regulation can help student to gain effectively knowledge and skill Both. They can learn more
about assignment and task. Universities are protecting their student who are serious and honest in
the academic. Here are some of the importance of academic integrity:
Students- Student are the one who are preparing assignments and are most important for
academic integrity. They are the one who have direct impact their values and beliefs. Here,
behaviour and values are institutional missions which can affect University networks. There is
need to maintain better relationship with their classmates and friends which depends on loyalty
and should not cheat on them if there is any type of misconduct or cheating with any student.
When any type of misconduct or cheating is there, then there is chance of losing of friendship. It
is crucial for a student to make positive environment within class and should avoid any type of
misconduct or cheating. There are the one who are responsible for creating honestly and fairly
with other person (Hanganu, (2019)).
Universities- They are also important for academic integrity. University works on
building reputation and positive image within country among competitors. So, they like to be
ensure about there should not be any type of cheating or plagiarism in their University. They also
ensure that there should no any type of misconduct between students because they are the one
who can manage their reputation effectively. University need to punish those student who cheat
or misconduct within University.
Employees- In any workplace, integrity depends directly upon believes and values which
create result for gaining of employee. Employer must provide better direction and motivation to
the employees for better performance. Employers need to to focus on the employee. So that, they
should not create any type of misconduct achieved within organization. This is necessary for
keeping credentials and sensitive information to company which should not to get leak and create
negative environment for company and workplace.
Implication of academic misconduct
Academic cheating and misconduct is when a student take advantage of any person by
copying their assignments. This create academic misconduct. There are different component
which are available for a student during misconduct (Camara, (2017)).
Cheating- Cheating is one of the common academic misconduct which can be seen
within students. This is the one in which any student cheat or copy other students assignment or

assessment. University has his system which confirm it and when it is copied form other sources
then it taken as cheating. This is the one which can be done during solving any different situation
for copying in assignment and exams. Every University work hard for reducing cheating and to
regulate effective conduction in the university. When there is any misconduct student should be
punished (Chauhan, (2018)).
Plagiarism- Plagiarism refers to the showing of other students content which is not made
by themself and have not developed any knowledge and skill regarding this. This can be seen
generally doing any assignment within University. Example- When any student copy other
students assignment then it is called plagiarism which is declared by university as a fraud and
legal action taken for student as a punishment. This creates risk for students future because due
to this, they are not getting any skill or knowledge. Student are not able to provide reference and
author detail while doing the assignment. When a student is caught up in such case then other
university will not allow for admission in their University.
Misconduct- Misconduct refers to the situation when student are not behaving well and
honest during study time. When a student are not getting serious about their assignment, this can
create misconduct. University play an important role for reducing academic misconduct within
university and make different rules and regulation for reducing misconduct within the university.
Academic integrity can provide opportunity for behaving well along with honestly within class
and to behave in well manner with other students (Cuadrado, (2021)).
TASK 2
Reflection on step taken along with difficulties which have encountered during producing a
game
During producing game, it is highly need to reflect about this during producing. I have
faced many difficulties along with implications for understanding the game requirement. The
game should have the based on which cheating and pluralism should be avoided through students
life. With this, I have focus during producing a game which brings me longer time taken for
producing this game. I have faced some of the issues which is regarding financial problem and
team managing. According to student requirement, it is highly difficult to produce again in which
one of the major difficulty which I have faced that I have never played such type of game before.
So, this was very difficult for me to produce such type of game which was very confusing by

using the rule and regulation. I need to make the game which is target in academic integrity. This
game should have the ability which can able to provide skill and knowledge to a student while
playing this game (Mckie, (2019)). This game is the one which can help the student for reducing
their cheating and plagiarism. I have made some of activities which should be done by a student
for providing long answer and should not try to cheat or copy from other students. If you need to
use these activities in such a way that they should not copy or cheat other students. The most
important and frustrating task was that I need to follow my leader which creates a high difficulty
for completing my task because this is very difficult and different for me. It was high difficulty
which I have faced during producing this game. I also concentrated on the time limit which is
necessary for student and that time which should be provided to student for answering their
question. So, this was one of the most difficult task which was for setting time limit within game.
There was also other difficulties which I have faced during this game. I have learned many
things about cheating and Plagiarism which should be avoided by any university and students life
(Subekti, (2019)).
Reflection on the skills which have learned during the academic year
During producing game I have faced different type of difficulties and during facing those
difficulties I have learned so many knowledge and skills. It can be used in future. These are the
skills and knowledge which can provide me the ability to prepare for a job in future, During
producing game, it provide me the opportunity for learning skills and knowledge and to avoid
cheating which can create a type of misconduct. I have learn different skills like communication
skill, IT skill, time management skill, problem solving skills. These are some of the skills which
have helped me during my academic and also will help in my future for gaining any job and to
make any type of business. Communication skill is the one which is available to provide me the
opportunity to communicate with other effectively and can lead me to get my job done. I have
also developed IT skill which help me in developing the game. This is the one which helps
students for reducing misconduct and Plagiarism during the assignment. I have also learned
decision making skill along with problem-solving skills during developing game (Ghimire,
(2020)). I have learned different type of skills which can help me to provide better and effective
game which can have different questions and answer regarding procedure. This provide me help
to increase my skill and knowledge which can be use in future. Decision making skills and
problem solving skills are the one that are going to help me in future during my job. These are

the one which have high benefit in future during job and professional time. Time management
skills and communication skills are also able to help me to complete my task on time. Better
communication skill can provide better opportunity to communicate with the other and able to
share the information and get the opportunity to complete my task efficiently. Time management
is skill provide time duration for student for managing standard time. This help me to maintain
work in limited time. I have learned how to present any game to every individual regarding
conveying information to everyone. During this game, student can reduce their Plagiarism and
can work better related with their assignment in honest way (Zucker, (2019)).
CONCLUSION
From above discussion, it can be analyzed that academic integrity is one of the most
crucial part of every student during their higher education. This one is highly important for every
student along with universities for avoiding misconduct and Plagiarism. There is also need to
minimize cheating and Plagiarism during academic time which can lead to provide better
learning skill and knowledge to student. This also result in better believing to student and help
University to increase their reputation. University have the responsibility to getting insure about
any student. They should not conduct any type of cheating or misconduct when such conduct is
there, then University need to take action against a guilty student. There is also a discussion
about reflection of difficulties and scale which has been faced during reducing game.
