INTRODUCTION
Academic integrity is an ethical perspective with moral values that helps out to maintain
the contacts and the policies that are being needed in the academy areas. This provides fair and
transparent methods of learning in a fundamental manner through which proper creative ideas
can be maintained (Akhmetova, and Seytbenbet, 2018). Academic integrity serves out to avoid
all the unauthorised use of information in any misconduct or practises. In order to maintain the
dignified environment and also the growth of the student it is important to maintain academic
integrity in the educational sectors by following all the ethical values and norms. This report will
cover the importance in academic integrity for all these had educational systems and with that
the implication that will be needed for academic misconduct. It will further cover the reflection
which will provide us skills that are being required introducing the game and also the difficulties
that are being faced while the game was being made

A discussion on importance of academic integrity in higher education.
Academic integrity is mainly the method that is being used by the educational system in
order to maintain a proper course of conduct with ethical and moral values it helps out to
maintain the standards and also to approach towards the students in a maintainable way. This
mainly serves out the fair image of all the institutions by maintaining the trust on the academic
areas in belief of students. It plays an important role in all the research work, teaching and
learning perspective (Barnhardt, and Ginns, 2017). In order to maintain academic integrity it is
important to uphold all the important policies that instigates and occupy the allegations of
misconduct can be punished and through which a proper cultural and ethical environment can be
created the major importance of academic integrity is are as follows:
 Academic integrity heads out to maintain a positive image of the institution as if there is
any violation of the integrity it will create an adverse affect on all the students who are
being exercising over there. As this helps out to maintain the development in the learning
areas in sectors and also helps to reflect the achievements in the academic sessions. The

misconduct in the academic areas may affect the image of the university so all the higher
education sector should try to maintain the academic integrity.
 It maintains a proper training session with the guidance that should be given to the
students so that they can maintain a proper practice regarding the Conducts so as to make
integrity and also avoid the misconduct that can happen while working in future events.
 It provides a student to maintain a positive attitude towards the society and the university
and also helps them to build a positive environment and attitude in your future career by
giving them confidence regarding the ethical and moral values of the integrity (Heredia-
Escorza, Portales, and Guerrero-Dib, 2020).
 It makes the students who are being studying in under academy integrity to follow their
morals and ethical values with proper honesty and also helps them for all the life events
that will take place in their future.
 Academic integrity also helps to provide a proper Goodwill so that all the educational
areas and institutions can serve out to maintain the confidence in the students who are
being studying and also create a transparent attitude with a full honesty in their ethical
approach.
Thus, all such activities help a student to maintain the personality in a positive manner and
also the educational institutes gets a good reputation regarding their working area. It also
increases students to evaluate the positive attitudes and the knowledge towards the development
skills and also motivate them towards all the moral etiquettes with their positive approach and
ethical conducts (McCarthy, 2019).
Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
In order to maintain an educational institution it is important that academic integrity
should be applied in all the moral areas of the institution. Academy misconduct used to serve in
negative image of the institution and also affect academic integrity and its course of behaviour.
The implications that are being seen in the academic misconduct are cheating, fabrication of
data, plagiarism and many more.
As all the academic misconduct should take place in case where students are trying to
miss represent all their activity with unfair means and also use the false evaluation process in
their course of behaviour. It used to maintain a negative approach towards the institution and

misconduct is being created there are certain academic integrity is which are being discussed
below:
 Plagiarism: It is mainly the method in which the person used to copy the ideas, thoughts
and all the writing of any other person on their own name it used to make the use of the
data that is being made by some other person on the name of the one who is trying to
copy it. As it affect the original writer as their hardwork is being taken by some other
person (Khan, Mumtaz, and Rakhman, 2020).
 Falsification of Academy records: It covers all the important documents that are being
submitted in the university on enrolment is being found to be forged. It is mainly their
vocation in the misrepresentation of all the records and data that are being sent to
academic areas.
 Self plagiarism: It is mainly when the student try to use a similar work for the academic
areas without the permission of any had authorities and teachers in order to take the credit
on the same topic then the self plagiarism is being taken place.
 Cheating: Such type of Academy misconduct is the most common as it implies that a
person tries to copy from any other individual’s submitted paper. This is mainly being
done in the examination session when the student tries to cheat from any other persons
answer sheet (Samko, 2019)
As all academic misconduct used to create a negative impact on the university that can imply
to penalties that can be served for the students in order to do any such misconduct behaviour in
their daily manner. Some of the consequences that have been taken place are like:
 It usually demotivates all the students who are being trying to work hard and giving their
all efforts for making the good projects an academy grades as they used to get offended
and their opportunities usually being lax as some of the people who used to do the
misconduct tries to copy their own matter it creates a negative impact and it is honest
atmosphere in the educational areas and also affect the students mental well-being (Lock,
Schroeder, and Eaton, 2019).
 This mainly effect the image of the university or institution as it creates a problem for all
the future admissions due to this unethical practices and behaviour that has been taken

place through which the emotional distress and all the trust is being violated (avadska,
and Ignatiuk, 2020).

Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in producing the game.
As in my graduation session I decided to make a game which will help us out to remove
all the academic misconduct from the educational areas and institution. The game that will help
us out to be a fun activity for all the students and will also guide them to remove the academy
miss conduct from all their institutions it will help to remove the plagiarism and all the
misconduct areas through which the negative consequences are being made but there were
certain difficulties that I had faced while making the game they are like:
 The first problem was I found it difficult to assemble the game in a proper manner so that
it can be properly implemented as to provide a proper knowledge to the person who is
playing the game. As I have no idea about assembling and it create a quite difficult for
me to maintain a proper implementation of the methods through which the game can be
assembled.
 Secondly I was not well aware about the framing of questions that are being needed in the
game. As this was the important element for the game and the questions will have to be
related to academic misconduct which will create a fun activity to so this was quite
difficult for me to maintain and aim a proper questionnaire through which the students
will able to know the misconduct.
 Thirdly I have no knowledge about graphic designing as in this game I required certain
IT skills and I was not being able to maintain a proper shape of the game because of poor
graphic areas so this was quite difficult for me to maintain a proper misconduct game
with a graphical representation.
 At last I also found it difficult to maintain the rules that are being made for the game as I
have to provide a proper message about the academic misconduct and the method
through which it can be prevented but this was quite obstacle for me to maintain a proper
game in which the rules can be conducted through which the students can also implement
fun activities.

Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those emphasized in producing
your game.
As for reducing and removing the academic misconduct from the institutions and also to
produce came and I got certain skills that has been raised while my academic year that helps me
out for all the upcoming future events. There were certain skills that I adopt while producing the
game they are as mentioned below:
 Research skill: While producing the game I came to know and had got an opportunity to
do a proper research about Academy misconduct and the plagiarism through which I got
an opportunity to make myself aware about all the methods through which a plagiarism
can be removed and an academic misconduct can be emitted out. As my teachers help me
out to maintain the skills and to frame proper research work for this game.
 Critical thinking: As to make a game is not an individual task and it required a lot of
patience and high-level of thinking approach in order to make it proper in an effective
manner. I develop a skill of critical thinking as with the help of my teachers and mentors
I came to know about the ideas and approaches that can be applied in the game through
various representation through which it can be made a fun activity with a meaningful
message.
 Problem solving: Before making this game I was not good enough in solving the
problems and and I try to learn from several courses through which I came to know about
getting in the situation and try to get the answer for that for which also take the help from
elders and the diploma courses and now I am able to solve the problems in an easiest
manner with confidence.
 Decision making: Producing this game has made me to lookout for better creative ideas
and also the formation required me to maintain multiple of variable activities and hard
work for which I had to take decision regarding all the important elements that has to be
made in the game that will make it interesting. I developed a decision making skill as I
try to make this game in with a possible approach and it helps me out to develop the skill.
All the skills help me out to be a better person with a positive approach and also increased
my strengths and abilities in the societal approach. I also gained the meaning of academic
integrity and also the negative impact of academic misconduct on the students and the society.

All the skills help me out to make me confident person and also to innovate a game with a proper
designing in interesting manner.
CONCLUSION
From this above report it is concluded that academic integrity is an important part for all
the educational institution as it helps out to create a fair environment with an honest opinion and
also helps to develop a positive approach towards the human environment. Academic integrity
should be maintained by all the educational sectors. Academy must conduct used to create a
negative environment and also affect the image of the institution by affecting its goodwill.
Furthermore it is also analysed that on plagiarism, cheating and many more are being used as
Academy miss conduct in educational areas.
