Introduction
Academic skills are the tools which helps the students to learn and absorb about their
materials. It is the kind of the collection of study habits, strategies of learning and managing the
times. Mentors are also got trainings for better skills for their students. Academic Integrity means
an ethical policy which is applied to everything whatever is done by an individual. It includes
honesty, Fairness, Trust, Respect and Responsibilities (Aguilar, Uccelli and Galloway, 2020). It
helps in developing new ideas and also provides the advice to solve the issues faced by the
individuals. Academic misconduct means when the students or university copy the work of the
other person without their permission is amounts to a misconduct. This report is being discussed
about the importance of academic integrity in the higher education. Further, the report is being
discussed about the misconduct of academics which has an impact on the way to the career.
Lastly, the difficulties are mentioned while preparing the game and the skills which are learned
during developing the game.
Section 1
Academic Integrity
Academic Integrity refers the practice by means of honest, trust, responsible and many
other which helps the individuals to fairly provide the academic work at their university. It is the
basis of college’s goal to enable the students to exchange their ideas and develop new and
innovative things by their knowledge. The university is responsible for awarding the honest of
the constructed work which helps the students to motivate more in order to get better result
(Elliott, Hwang and Wang, 2019). The students can use their own work so that they can protect
the rights of copyrights and other privacy laws. They should not present other’s work as of their
own. They must take all reasonable efforts to conduct proper research so that they can get
appropriate results. It is aided in enhancing the trust from one another. There are five pillars
which are generated to have a positive conversation. Those pillars are given below:
Honesty: It means sincerity which helps the individual to take stock of individual abilities
and helps them in representing their work in better ways. They help the students to get motivated
by this as they are presenting their work in their own ways.

Trust: It is on the other people that they use to trust on each other and helps in community
eases in their working relationships. It helps in getting better outcome and developing better
strategies to complete such work fairly.
Fairness: it is going with hand and hand where the students believe that they must treat
each other fairly. Like the teachers use to evaluate the work of students fairly.
Respect: Everyone must respect each other views and opinions which are shared by the
students. It is useful for the students to maintain a good relations with their mentors.
Responsibility: The students must be responsible for their work and the teachers must
motivate their students to get accountable in their work (Esteban-Cornejo and et. al., 2017). It is
started from the student and has a positive influence on the entire community.
Importance of Academic Integrity in Higher education
Academic Integrity is important for ensuring the quality of teaching and learning. It is
important because dishonest behavior during the learning leads to uh demolish the outcome of it.
In higher standards of academics integrity helps in protecting the reputation of the university and
in attracting the more candidates. This helps in generating the public trust and revenue for the
University. When any college Breach the integrity of academic it will leads to diminishing the
trust of public towards the organisation.
It is important for the students also to learn develop and improve their skills and obtain
best educational knowledge which helps them in achieving their goals and desires of their life
(Galloway, and Uccelli, 2019). When the students used to cheat during the course of academic
exercise that will leads to diminishing there is skills and makes difficult to attain there academic
achievements.
Academic integrity is beneficial for the university is also as this helps them in
maintaining a good image in the market. This will leads to generate more revenue by giving
better opportunities for the students so that they can study in more effective manner. When the
university is failed in maintaining academic integrity in their premises that will leads to negative
image in the market. If this happens then the competitive organisation will defeat the company
easily.

The good academic integrity helps in creating employment and clients. When the
University has a good image in the market then the Expectations of the customers will become
more and to fulfill those expectations the company has to hire more employees for the same

medical, researches and many more. If the company has not a good image in the market then
they have to fire the existing staff also as day has less number of students who will be availing
there services. It helps in providing more employment opportunities which leads to the growth of
the economy of nation.
Maintaining the integrity is important for the companies so that they can be protected
from penalized under the head of academic misconduct. They are several penalities which can be
imposed by the authority such as failing in the assessment, cheating, coping the work of other
authors and many others.
Academic Misconduct
It is a kind of action where the students can unfair academic advantages. It includes
contract of cheating solution, plagiarism and fabrication of the data. Using of unauthorised
material during the exams is also amounts to in academic misconduct. The students are expected
to understand and abide by the rules which specially prohibit the academic misconduct. It can be
done with the help of electronic devices recording are communication devices where they store
their data and recover them by an unauthorised access. The academic misconduct includes:
Plagiarism it is a kind of academic misconduct where the students use someone else ideas
words data other material without given a credit to them (Hammermeister and et. al., 2020). The
consent of author is highly required when they are copying it without acknowledgement. There
are several software which are used by the universities to identify the originality of the work.
This can be done by using similar words of the document. For example copying word to word ad

Contract cheating: when the students contract the third party to provide work material to
submit their assignments in their own words. It is cheating because students or not writing in

alter the academic records or documents which are related to their academic sessions done for
their personal benefits. It also includes when they forging the signature of their teacher or make
changes in their great reports or any other document. The sum amounts to an academic
dishonesty as their actions are resulted in creating an unfair academic advantage and
disadvantage to other member of the community of academic.
Failure to meet legal, ethical and professional obligations: when the students fails in
meeting the legal ethical and professional obligations in unreasonable harm to humans,
environment and other members of the same community. This can be done by the students by
planning it or the other to attempt such activities as aforesaid. To protect this every universities
have drafted their rules and regulations to safeguard their innocent students which leads to
making and positive image in the market.

Steps and difficulties encountered in developing the game
Every University used to plan the different strategies which help them to maintain the
academic integrity. Like they can communicate about the academic integrity policy to the
students and also tell them the measures which can be used to overcome with the problems. The
steps which are taken to develop again are as follows:
Planning: to develop the game it is important preliminary to plan about it. In this step the
developer of the game has to analyze the needs and wants of the targeted audience which helps
them in planning.
Production: in this the producer has to design model about game. It can has in audio or
visual effects. They can produce it in the physical form also.
Launch: the producer has to launch its production after testing it. This helps them to
analyse that the game is easy or hard and also determine the audience is enjoying it or not

not. They can examine it before launching the game and after launching the game also. At the
stage of post launch they can determine it easily that their hard work has fulfilled all the
achievements and where they are lacking which helps them in developing the new strategies to
overcome with the issues which are faced by them.
The game which is developed to overcome with the academic misconduct which helps
the students to aware about what academic misconduct is and why the academic integrity is
important in the higher education and what is role of it in higher education.
Skills learn in producing the game
Skills are required to attain the desires of individuals. This helps the students to full fill
their needs and wants in an effective manner. There are service skills which are learnt during the
competition of the game. Some of these are as follows:
Strong IT skills: to produce a game it is required to design the things at the digital
platform. Where the designer needs to be familiar with character design, scenery designs and
interface design.
Problem solving aptitude: the design helps in solving the problems as to overcome with the
challenges and resolve the technical issues which are made during the developing the game. This
helps in identifying the ability to see the issues from different perspectives and examining the
best option for the game.
Time management skills: during the production of the game it is determined that the time
should be managed in an effective manner so that it can be reduced the cost and saves time. This
helps in working upon the project under a pressure learn to collaborate with other and keep the
project deadline.
Communication Skills: During the production of the game it is necessary for the
developer to communicate with the other colleagues so that it can easy to determine the needs
and wants of the students. It helps in communicate the vision and ideas about the project with the
team members. This helps in determining the proper discussion about the projects so that they
can analyze the pros and cons about projects. This helps in conducting regular meeting with the
other team mates so that all can discuss about the game and shares each other ideas in an

Confidence: producing the game helps in enhancing level of confidence as this game is
produced by the proper planning which gives a confidence to get the proper and expected results
on time. The good planning helps in saving the cost and time of the individual as in that the one
can examine the pros and cons of the things before it actual happens.
Creativity: to develop the game in a good manner where the creativity skills are
developed for the same. This helps in making unique game (Rittle-Johnson, Zippert and Boice,
2019). It is a competitive advantage. This also helps in solving problems easily. This skills help
in producing new innovative ideas which are useful in producing new more games and other
tasks.
Conclusion
From the above report it can be concluded that, every students must follow proper
academic skills as those skills are used in order to attain their desires of life. The academic
misconduct is also be known to the students and the universities so that they can examine what is
wrong and what is right which helps them in conducting their professional and academic
sessions. This plays an major role in getting their targets of life so that they can satisfy their
personal needs and also satisfy the needs and desires of their dependants.
