Introduction
Individually usually learn certain skills and good habits in the learning stage and
education plays an significant role in developing the integrated skills of the person. The students
make their future goal with the helps of their academic sessions and programs (Abdi and et.
al.,2021). When the individual is having the integrated set of skills, It would leads to have
academic growth or accomplishment in their academic career. Academic skills provides and
preserve the appropriate methods of learning, writing and many more. His report will cover the
discussion about the meaning of academic integrity and their misconduct and also the general
importance of education.

An Introduction on the concept of Academic Integrity
Academic integrity is the individual commitment for their honesty and moral behaviour
in their academic career. It is the most relevant in the universities levels which provides the
benefits to the individual by using their innovative ideas (Li and Cornelis, 2021). Academic
integrity is defined as the ethical policy or the moral which are necessary for the fair academic
writing and also leads to eliminates the any kind of cheating and plagiarism which helps in
maintaining the academic standards such as honesty in academic writing and research
publishing. There are certain types of values that are the part of the academic integrity that also
includes honest in work, trust, fairness, responsibility and the respect.
A discussion of the importance of academic integrity in higher
education
Academic integrity is an important application that is having effective consideration
towards all the ethical and the moral conducts that increases the value, standards and the working
in the educational institutions(De Souza, and Lee, 2020). It basically focuses on generating idea
of thoughts, transparency and clarity in the behaviour of the students and the teachers. There are
various aspects which shows the significance of the academic integrity in all the educational
areas and they are as follows:
Academic integrity helps in building the moral of the individual for the institution and
also leads to manage the standards in all institutional areas which also reflects the values.

This also defines the certain values of the individual so that they can rightly act in their
given educational area and also promote the major methods which helps in eliminating
the misconduct in the educational areas and also generate the reflective nature and also
maintain the balance among the member and their working(Jamieson, 2020).
Academic integrity focuses on managing and balancing the working culture among the
teachers and the students as it builds the trust and the bond which creates a positive value
in the working.
It also gives the appreciation to all the right employees who are working with them. This
also means that high working individuals get the credit for their better performance in
their given field. Academic integrity gives the confidence to all those students and also
motivates the individuals proper and ethical working.
Thus, It is necessary aspects as Academic integrity gives the management with clarity
and the transparency in all their working. It also influences the students for their dignity and
ethical practices(Smriti, 2020). Such institutions which are trying to maintaining the dignity at
the workplace get greater values among the students and related individuals. It can be said that
there is so much of misconduct are being made by the educational institutions which affects the
image of the areas and the individuals.
Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
Academic misconducts are all the factors which considered the dishonesty and the unfair
means that is practices by the organisation for gaining the unfair advantages through the
educational institution(Teymouri and Boisvert, 2020). It has been see that there are many
implications that are being taken in order to frame the dishonesty in all institutions. Some of
them are plagiarism, cheating and falsification of data that directly impacts the image of
institutions and also lose the confidence level towards the educational sector and these are
explained as follows: Cheating- This involves the deception done for the project, assignment, paper with the
aim of getting good marks or having nay other intentions. These are the unethical
practices and the immoral work that is being conducted by the students in their academic
areas. Plagiarism-It involves all the work of the other person that is being copied by the other
person with the aim of getting good marks. It acknowledge all the related ideas and the

work of any potential person to be managed by the other person. This is absolute an
unethical practice that affects the overall social state of the students.
Falsification- It is the method in which students gain some confidential data and it also
record the data which is been fabricated by the students so as to mislead the teachers ans
to gain some important information(Kaul, 2020).
All these academic misconducts impact on the ethical and the moral values of the
institutions. This will make the students to loose their trust from the university. Academic
misconduct also impacts the reputation and will also leads to frame the dishonesty and also leads
to lack of trust among the individuals and hurdle the growth of the individual. It also creates an
adverse impact on all the academic reputations of the company which leads to looses the
confidence of the teachers and the students.

producing the game for Project 2
In current time, It is necessary to have the full protection to the academic integrity as the
educational institutions taken taken this seriously. The main emphasis is to protect the image of
the institutions and also spread the dignity and the ethics of the particular area. In recent times,
due to high academic misconduct, There is huge impact on the academic areas that majorly
includes the plagiarism. Thus, in order to prevent this and maintain the integrity in the academic
areas. An ideas which is being generated by me was just to produce the game so that learners can
understands the prevention of misconduct. After analysing this, I have decide to produce the
game that helps in avoiding the plagiarism from the academics. My ideas also helps in spreading
the awareness among the students that how they can eliminate the academic misconduct and also
get to know the significance of academic integrity.
After analysing my idea, I have choose the best out of all, so from all my ideas, I have
decided to go on with the idea that is to produce the game. There are various difficulty faced by
me during this step as I was having two-three options in my mind and I need to select the best
one. I have decided to go on with the game namely, QUIZ. To start the game there is a procedure
of sign as well as to create their accounts on the university's portal then there will be many
questions to be answered by them in order to qualify the first stage. I have started to collect the

information for the benefits of academic integrity s that students can learns the new things and
understands the importance by the way of fun games. The aim of the game is to know the
knowledge of the players in relation to the plagiarism and academic misconduct. This helps in
restricting the students from adopting any kind of unethical practices or any misconduct during
their academic learning. Then after assessing the information on the significance of academic
integrity. I have decide the game in which five questions to be asked in second round and fours
answers to be given correctly for quality the round. Additionally, from these steps the game is
effectively designed. While producing the game there are many difficulty which is being faced
by me are explained as follows:
The main challenge while producing the game is to make the outline for designing the
game as I wanted to attract the users and explain them the whole description so that
students can rightly understands.
The next challenge was to make some questions that to be ask by the students in order to
understand their knowledge. Choosing the best out of many questions become the
challenge for me.
Another challenge is related to the assembling the game as this must be done is such a
way that significance of academic integrity can be taught and reflected in the game. The
structure of the game must be is such a manner which can give the message of prevention
of plagiarism for academic writing and maintains integrity.

emphasized in producing your game
There are various skills that has been used while producing the game and such skills are
explained as follows:
Organizing and designing skills: It is the main and vital approach while producing the
game that how it must be designed so that it can be rightly utilised in order to get the
better results in it. It helps in assembling new ideas, questions for the designing of the
game. As it plays an significant role in producing the game as I have learned to have the
attractive graphics of the game.
Academic knowledge: As an individual, I have enhanced the academic integrity as this
is necessary to have the good knowledge on which the whole game is based on and all the
activity must be go on with the same sequence.

Creativity skill: This is the skills which has been developed during participating in the
particular game as I have used the attractive ideas while sketching and designing the
graphics the game. This skill has been improved while producing the game as it opens the
scope for making game better.
Computer skill: It is the skill in which I have having less knowledge while producing
the game so I came across an opportunity in order to develop and learn as I am having the
ability to design graphics as well while producing the game.
Research skills: It is the foremost skills that is the foundation of any new idea to be
implemented or the game. I have learn as I used to collect the information to the
significance of academic integrity and while framing questions as well. Thus,research is
indulged the pathway to the whole game.
Conclusion
This is concluded from the above report that academic integrity helps in maintaining the
ethics and the moral standards of the educational institutions and also helps in building the trust
among the teachers and the students. The main aim is to guide and manage the students with
proper transparency, trust and equality so that the discrimination can be eliminated. Academic
misconduct is the practices which is being done by the students in order to get the good marks in
their educational areas and with the aim of having cheating, plagiarism and falsifications.
Moreover, It is also seen that plagiarism can be removed from the game with the help of certain
types of games and their basic methods.
