INTRODUCTION
Academic integrity is related with possessing proper level of trust, fairness, respect,
honesty and responsibility. In the current era, significance regarding the academic integrity has
inclined which becomes essential for the students to develop in order to get higher extent of
effectiveness. The current report will pay attention on explaining academic integrity and
importance of it in the higher education. It will focus on discussing the academic mis-
conducting so that depth understanding regarding the same can be obtained. The current study
will reflect steps taken in encountered in producing the game for project two. This will give
emphasis on reflecting the skills learned through producing this game.

Explaining description of academic integrity
Academic Integrity (AI) is one of the crucial concept that is basically associated with
obtaining the information regarding how particular student should deal with educational
activities. It basically expectations from the academic community to act ethically so that
significant extent to incline the trustworthiness, respect, honesty, accountability, etc. so that
higher productiveness among the students can be developed (Guerrero-Dib, Portales and
Heredia-Escorza, 2020). There are five values plus the courage to act truly even in the adverse
situation. In addition to this, AI is helpful in making students to act as per the criteria while
utilizing the information through including copy right in order to offer them significant level of
credibility for utilization of their hard work. This aids in ensuring that leaners are not presenting
other people’s work as their own. Conducting research ethically with maintaining the
compliance with the regulation of university’s regulations. Reporting truthfully on particular
research so that depth understanding related with particular decision making. Following
instructions when they are facing any difficult so that avoiding mis conduct to have proper
extent of processing via ensuring optimum utilization of resources.
It builds courage to deal with negative situation with possessing higher effectiveness along
with applying ethical course of action. This provides assistance in creating preservation in
academic integrity by both staff & students. In addition to this, it contributes in providing
legitimacy to pursuits of all the students. It aids in avoiding the plagiarism with maintaining

It is highly essential for the students studying in the higher education to focus on understanding
significance of academic integrity to obtain positive outcome via conducting ethical functioning.
There are number of activities in which plagiarism is found that becomes crucial to eliminate to
ensure higher educational functioning effectively. AI promotes the significant extent of ethical,
fair & accountability so that self-conducing action can be highlighted to develop essential kills,
attributes and tactics among students. This allows to deal with various non-significant aspects
such as cultural differences, biasness, etc. kind of factors from higher education practices. It
helps in gaining new ideas, creative work, building respecting learning environment,
acknowledging work of others, etc.
Universities offering higher education become possible to deal properly with misconduct in
transparent, fair, timely and consistent manner (Mathrani and et.al., 2021). This is helpful in
creating the truly based foundation of work so that appropriate level of functioning to offer
crucial components to students in turn better approach to build their career. Honest attitude for

student possessing non ethical activities like cheating in exam, copying assignments,
etc. which are lower grade or failing in particular class. ‘
It can negatively influence the enthusiasm and motivational level of study and
implement new ideas, etc. in addition to this, jealously, envy, etc. kind of adverse impact
among the learners can be found which might impact the future perspective of thinking
(McKenzie, 2018). On the basis of this, it can be interpreted that it is highly crucial for the
higher education system to pay attention n on developing crucial strategies so that higher extent
of positive atmosphere to uplift career can become possible. The most kind of dishonesty
which can lead to influence misconducting results are cheating & plagiarism. Plagiarism is
representing work of someone & submitting it purposely to obtain higher marks. In addition to
this, unauthorized collaboration, buying exams papers, etc. are the few other forms of the
misconducting actions which are executed for taking irrelevant advantages. On the basis of this,
it can be identified that there are number of ways which are adopted for practicing unethically
in educational activities which result in impacting adversely on current & future performance of
student.

Reflecting steps taken and difficulties encountered in producing the game for project 2
I have taken varied steps to produce current game for further project in systematic and
effective manner. For example, I have taken approach to conduct research based on game
selection, which has driven my attention toward selecting a specific game. Integrity card is one
of those carb based games, that I prefer to produce and play with others. The main motive
behind planning this game is to improve individuals learning and comprehending regarding
plagiarism & academic misconduct, that I have to avoid to make their work presentable. I had
taken initiative to pick a particular concept and collect strategic information related to that.
Before producing carb base game, it is quite essential for me to gather key data, which aid to

achieve desire aim and objective. After passing above two steps, I had move to third step, where
I start building or playing game.
Challenges-
While producing integrity game, I have faced different issues that put negative impact on
my performance and initiatives as well as further activities that I had planned to conduct
appropriately. For instance, I had faced challenge to comprehend and develop understanding
about the game that me and other people are going to play, which in turn lead to increase your
knowledge about certain things like how to avoid academic misconduct and plagiarism. Poor
coordinate is another challenge that I had faced, before and after producing as well as using
game, which put direct impact on my efficiency negatively. It is quite essential for me to have
clear and appropriate coordination with other who are playing and tending to play the game. It is
fact that without coordination, I would not be able to obtain desire result, for which I had
worked harder. I have to communicate with other in effective and understanding manner for
purpose of sharing information about game, in which I am failed as I do not communicate
properly, which is essential for me to do it. Furthermore, along with above challenges, I faced
issue about the game playing that I have never ever played in my life before. Just because of this
reason, I am more confused to adapt practice of making work plagiarism free. All these
difficulties affect the way I work and plan to do that appropriately. It is important for me to
overcome overall negative impacts by applying key useful tactics.
Reflecting skills learned in academic year and while producing game
There are number of skills which has been learnt by me in the academic year that are really
helpful in building significant career. It has allowed to be get confidence to deal with
unfavorable situation with maintaining compliance with academic integrity. I have come to
know that there is highly importance of depth understanding of academic integrity as allows to
obtain discipline in life. In my opinion, this academic year has permitted to attain significant
problem solving approach in me via getting number of opportunity to explore myself. In simple
words, I want to share information about skills that I have learned. For example, I had developed
problem solving skills, that made me capable to resolve critical issues and solve challenges. It
is one of those competencies that help related to progress and success of individuals that tend to
grow in specific field, whether it is related to academic or employment. It plays vital role in my

career progress, especially in regard to team work and presentation activities that I will plan to
conduct with others who are working to achieve strategic aims & objectives.
In academic year, along with above learning, I had developed my knowledge about
plagiarisms avoidance, which make my work presentable and appropriate according to my
tutor’s expectations as they expect from each student to avoid academic integrity or misconduct
that put positive impact on their academic as well as further career.
Furthermore, while producing game I had developed collaborative skills, regarding which I
am not posing better understanding. With this competence I had worked even better than last
few months or days. It has improved my productivity and performance level that is quite
essential and beneficial for me to do that. I had and will plan to take pleasure of developing this
skill which in turn provide varied unpredicted benefits to me. For example, collaborative skill
allows individual person to feel confident to coordinate or communicate with all whom with
they want to work (Dewi, Susantini and Poedjiastoeti, 2021). Team work is another skill that I
had developed along with above, during similar situation as I am accountable to play the game
with all because they also want to develop their understanding about concepts which I had
learned via integrity game. It had boost my morale and productive level better than the others.
By developing and using current competence, I had decreased work pressure and make task
achievable, for which everyone is accountable along with me. It makes me capable to work in a
group, among which many individuals are working or performing together to achieve common
aim (Benbow, Lee and Hora, 2021). With this skill, individuals felt more creative and productive
than ever as they get power to perform with talented, experienced, skilled and knowledgeable
person’s.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis, it has been concluded that students have obtained desire outcomes
while studying higher education and conducting practices related to that. They have gained high
scores by avoiding plagiarism and selecting right references, which is quite essential for them to
do that appropriately and systematically. Furthermore, by summing up above discussion, it has
been summarized that I had overcome all the difficulties that encountered in process of
producing game for project 2 via developing useful strategies. I had gained set aims by
developing and using several skills during producing integrity game.
