Introduction
Academic integrity is an important component that is developing values among a
person. It is a code of conducts that allow a person to values like honesty, fairness,
responsibility and other things (Ashford, 2021). It is essential in order to develop
different types of skills and capability in life of a person. This project report includes
academic integrity and its importance. It also includes implication of academic
misconduct at University. Moreover, it reflects about problems faced by a person and
skills developed during designing of game.
Section 1
An Introduction including a description of Academic Integrity
Academic integrity can be described as moral code of conduct that provide basis for
goals of university and allow them for exchange of ideas, developing knowledge and
also require individual scholar for scholar work that allow people to work with each
other. In order to avoid academic misconduct, a person needs to avoid plagiarism,
fabrication as well as falsification that is cited for purpose of promotion of academic
integrity (Bretag, 2019). At time when focus of people is on negative behavior where
academic integrity is not present then integrity is center on suspicion instead of
respect, growth as well as trust. Academic integrity is based on mainly on four
components like honesty, fairness, trust and respect. Honesty is used for sincerity
which stock ability of individual and also represent their efforts fairly. Trust is another
pillar of academic integrity in which in order to develop relationship, a person needs
to trust another people. Fairness is another important component that is important
for trust of people. In this, it is essential for a person to treat other person to treat
them fairly. Respect allow people to share their views and opinion as individual are
reflecting respect while listening to views of other related to their work.
Responsibility is also a pillar of academic integrity that is important for
acknowledging agency as well as accountability of action of a person.

Academic integrity is important component for purpose of building shared norms and
values of behavior that consist responsibility, honesty and fairness. It is putting
different values into practice that allow people to be honest with their work at
university. It also allows them to be fair with others, taking responsibility of learning
new things from others. It is important for both university as well as students which
are explained underneath:
Improve learning: Academic integrity present students from presenting others work
as their own that means they are not learning instead they are developing new
learning. It allows people to develop their new learning and present their own work
that allow them to develop new skills.
Improve quality of teaching and learning: It is also important in order to ensure
quality of learning and teaching. Academic integrity at university allow them to
complete graduation of students that is important in order to develop successful
learning (Cronan, Mullins and Douglas, 2018). If university is not maintaining
academic integrity and allowing people to cheating or plagiarism that does not
improve learning of people that create impact over quality of teaching and learning of
people.
Helps in future employment: A person that is reflecting fairness, honesty as well as
responsibility at workplace that assist them for purpose of finding out good
employment opportunity. If a person is not maintaining academic integrity, it will ruin
their reputation at university and also results in negative consequences and also
leads to losing of job.
Rules, laws and regulation: Different types of university is having different types of
rules, laws as well as regulation that are related to academic integrity. Maintaining
academic integrity make staff members as well as students to follow these rules and
regulation. It makes them more efficient and disciplined which is important for future
of students.
Penalties for academic misconduct: Academic integrity can be requiring by
university and if a student is not maintaining academic integrity they will be guilty for
academic misconduct (Eaton, 2020). These penalties can impact on image of
students at University as well as in minds of teachers. It can also result in restriction
of students from University which can create negative impact over career of a
person.

Discuss the implications of academic misconduct
Academic misconduct can be described as action as well as attempt that can leads
to development of unfair academic advantage for a person and disadvantage for
member of academic community. It consists variety of behavior of a person like
plagiarism, cheating as well as altering academic documents, getting access to
unfair document and other things. There are different yp of academic misconduct
which are mentioned below:
Cheating: Cheating can be described as fraud, dishonesty as well as deceit in
academic assignment as well as making an attempt to use different materials that
prohibit and inappropriate for others related to academic assignments. Copying and
making an attempt to copy others exam, communicating with others during exam
time are some of example of academic misconduct.
Plagiarism: It is described as use of intellectual things or material that is produced
by other people without acknowledging them is one of source of plagiarism (Griffith,
2021). It includes use of views and opinion of other without providing them
acknowledgement, wholesale copying of passage of work of others at home and
other things are considered as academic misconduct.
Course material: It is another component that is considered as academic
misconduct which include removing, deliberately keeping, defacing from library
material of other students that is related to specific reserves. It is selling website
positing, distributing course lecture notes, readers, handouts, recording and other
things that is offered by instructor.

Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in
producing the game for Project 2
In order to design a game, I first develop a concept of game that assist me in
developing game in efficient manner.

In next step, I gather various information about game in order to develop game as
per target customers. It helps me to design customer centric game that is creating
more interest of people (Kaktiņš, 2019).
After that, I started working on this game by designing it and develop a program
language for creating a unique game.
Refining concept is another step in which, we are finding out issues and also working
to overcome of these issues in process of designing a game.
In the last step, we are testing our game in order to check its efficiency and also to
make coordination if problems arise in this phase. In this, there are some problems
are faced by us while testing a game. In order to solve that problem, we are again
working on game to introduce final game.
After making all changes and solve problems occur in game, we have introduced it in
the class in front of teachers and other students. It is game that helps students sand
teachers to overcome of problems of academic integrity.
Problems:
There are various problems occur at time of development of game by a person.
These problems are faced by a person during the coordinating with other members
of team at time of game development. Some of these problems faced by company is
mentioned below:
Team management: Time management is one of problem that is faced by me
during development of game. This problem occurs as I have lack of time
management skill that does not allow me for purpose of managing my time
effectively on different activities (Keefer, Brown and Rothschild, 2020). As a student I
needs to manage different types of activities like exams, assignment, classes and
other things. I also need to saves some time for my personal life that make it difficult
for me to manage my time.
Coordination: It is another problem that is faced by me at time of managing different
types of activities. In this assignment of designing game, me and other students
needs to coordinate. All people of my team are of different skills and capability. In
order to complete work in effective manner, we need to coordinate with each other
but due to lack of communication, we are finding it difficult for coordinating our
efforts.
Conflicts: For developing game, I and my friends needs to coordinate our efforts but
due to our different views and opinion, conflicts are occurring in team. It makes is

difficult for us to complete our work on time. This situation also increase time for
completion of project.
Reflect on the skills you have learned this academic year and those
emphasized in producing your game
There are different types of skills that is learned by a person during academic year
that are emphasized at time of development of game. These skills are used by a
person while developing a game that helps them for purpose of improving
effectiveness of their game (MacLeod and Eaton, 2020). These skills are not only
used by a person at present time but also in future. Explanation of these skill in
context of game is mentioned below:
Communication skills: Communication skill is one of skill that allow a person to
share their views, ideas and other things with other person. It is important skill that
assist me to write a game and also instruction for playing a game. It is also important
for me present idea of my game to others that create influence over people to play
this game.
Creativity: Creativity is also a skill that is require to design a game. In order to
develop a game, a person needs to be creative that allow them to develop different
ideas for developing a game. It is essential for a person that allow them to develop a
unique game that provide competitive advantage to a person. This creativity
develops a game that is creating interest among other people to play this game.
Time management skills: Time management is another skill that is require by a
person for purpose of developing game. As a student, I need to manage my different
assignment, exam and self-study along with designing of game (Sopova, 2020). In
order to saves time for this work, I need to manage other works effective that allow
me to save some time for this work. For this, I made a schedule and eliminate non
important activities from my routine that allow me to find proper time to develop this
game.
IT skills: In order to get success for development of this game of academic integrity,
I require to develop IT skills that helps me to develop a software, designing game
and other program (White, 2020). It is an online game that is require technology
which make it more interesting. In order to develop a unique game, a person needs

From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that academic integrity is
one of important concept for students as well as university. It is important in order to
develop values among students that assist them to develop good opportunity in
future period of time. It is also essential for University as it helps them to improve
quality of learning and teaching. There are different types of skills to be developed by
a person. These skill includes communication skill, time management skill, creativity
and other things which is required by them. Different types of problems to be faced
by a person while facing different problems like coordination, time management and
others.
