PART- B
INTRODUCTION
Child labour is the main issue which is not just faced by one country but almost all the countries
are facing this issue(Moktadir and et. al., 2018). Around 160 million children in the whole world
are facing this issue in which children are being forced to work outside and the reasons for this
are many. Child labour is basically to give employment to children who are under the age of 18
which makes them deprive of their studies, childhood and except that they are given then mental
pressure and torture. This report will cover debate on “Child labour supply chain including both
the for and against”.
MAIN BODY
Debate on child labour supply chain
For- Child labour is the issue in many countries and not just one but at sometime child labour is
considered to be the most effective especially for the poor people. Children who are being
chosen for the child labour are the one who are poor and does not have money to spend their
livelihood. Sometimes, the child labour is a forceful action but at the other side for the poor
families child labour is considered to be the most effective as they get the money and also the
food which they might not get in any other case. Poor families needs money and in the present
time when everything is very costly the livelihood of poor families will not be spend by earning
just a penny(Guèvremont and Grohmann, 2018). So, the families of poor people allows there
children to work in the factories or in the restaurants as this will give them the facility to earn
money so that they can be able to spend their life like the other normal people. In some countries
there is a rule that children are not allowed to work which are under the age of 18 but in some
countries it is allowed so in totality, child labour cannot be considered as an illegal option. There
is always a reason to do some or the other work and the children's are also having the reason
because of which they are performing their task in such a small age. The reason for doing and
practising the child labour is because they are being faced with the situation of poverty,

is always a reason to do some or the other work and the children's are also having the reason
because of which they are performing their task in such a small age. The reason for doing and
practising the child labour is because they are being faced with the situation of poverty,

marginalisation and discrimination. When the poor children will see other children playing good
games or eating good food then they will also want to do such things but the main problem
which come across is that of the money and without money no thing can be earned and not even
the happiness needs to be purchased. Facing such problems and difficulty in their life children
have to face this problem of doing work in such a small age.
Against- Considering the problem of child labour it is important to eradicate the issue of child
labour which has to faced by the children and especially the poor. Children who has to work in
such a small age has to leave their education and their childhood because they have to work for
whole day just to earn a small amount so that they can make the contribution in their family
doesn't matter whether it is a small or a large amount(Bastagli and et. al., 2019). They are not
able to make any development in their life because from the beginning of their life they are being
lost in the poverty. Children and their family might feel that they are sending their children or
they are working to earn some money but in the end they are being trapped into poverty which is
worst than the earlier one. Children also have the rights to live their best like the other children
are spending their life but the situation makes them force to work in such condition. So it is very
important that certain steps are being taken for providing them some or the other benefits which
will be helpful to spend their life. Comparing with that of the economy then the child labour
might provide them the cheap labour but on the other hand but will hamper the future generation
of children. If children will not study form their childhood and will spend their life in working
then they will not get the opportunity to study and learn new things which will be helpful for
them in their bright future(Golding OAM, 2018). Children who are working in their child have
to face the situation of sexual abuse, fractures and other problems and not only this they have to
face the issue of deprivation of love which the children need in their family. Nation will be
deprived of technical people if all the children will be engaged in the child labour. Even if they
start studying in their adulthood then they might not be able to achieve success timely or they
might not feel good to do study and work in any of the company.

CONCLUSION
From the above debate it can be concluded that it is very important to stop the practice of
child labour so that children can be given with the bright future and they will also go to studies
and make their good career. Trapped in a child labour stops all the opportunities for the children
to make growth and success in their life. It is very important that all children must be provided
with the rights which they deserve.
