Assessment 1 Part A - Refection
Academic skill are the skill which is possessed by the student which helps them in operating
their day to day activity at the University, not only that academic skill kelps the student in
defending the challenges which is faced by the student. Effective student are the one who has
variety of the academic skill.
As per the author Allcott and Gentzkow, 2017, Dome of the most common and effective
academic skills are Listening, Evaluation, time management and the presentation skill and the
soft skills. These skills are known as an important skill as the Listening skill help the student in
understanding the lecture in better way and eventually with the help of the evaluation skill the
student will be able to interoperate the lecture in the reality as the good evaluation skill will help
the student in seeing the different aspect of the lecture. Presentation skill will help the student in
describing their learning in the better way in front of the teacher and other party and the Time
management will help the student in increasing the efficiency of their learning. Soft skill will
help the student in developing the personal aptitude.
I am as student also having some academic skill in me which has helped in my past, current and
will help me in future as well, The best skill which I am having is the listening and evaluation
skill as I am able to understand the lecture very easily and also able to evaluate that lecture very
easily which helps me in cross questioning the teacher at the point of the lecture itself which help
me in clarifying my doubt at the time itself.
As a student I always desire to develop my presentation skill as it proves as a hurdle in my
growth as I am not able to describe the point of view of mine in the clear way to the other parties
in the University, which eventually means that the learning which I have got from my listening
and evaluation skill is of no use as I can not pass on my point of view on that in the attractive
manner, not only that due to the presentation skill I am also not able to write my exam in the
good way which eventually wrong impression on the teacher of mine (Alwagait, Shahzad and
Alim, 2015).
My Smart goal to improve my presentation skill is as follows:
Specific: I am focussed and very much sure of the presentation and the note making skill which I
have to develop in me so that I am able to express my point of view in more attractive and the
presentable way in the University.

Assessment 1 Part B – Business Law case study Discussion
Why cyber bulling is illegal
As per the author Anderson and Jiang, , 2018.,cyberbulling is the word always relate with
the bulling practices done with the help of the electronic device or electronic media. It has
always been a topic of the argument that the cyber bulling is illegal for the student or teen as
their efficiency is affected by the cyber bulling. As student or teen are so addicted to the digital
device and if any case of cyber bulling the Time management skill of the student is affected as
they are not able to take time for all the thing, It is not the only reason cyber bulling is illegal, it
has affected the student it has also affected the student concentration power as they are not able
concentrate on the study as they are more toward the incident which has gone through them. As
per the thought of the Deming, 2017 cyber bulling has also affected the student in improving
their academic skill such as it has affected the student in their personal aptitude as cyber bulling
has cyber bulling has the long-lasting effect.
As a student in my thought the cyber bulling is illegal as it influencing the work of the
student, as cyber bulling has influence the work of the influence my work as it divert me from
my work as it is , as Social media diverts my time from the study and also it has a very negative
impact on the mind of mine as the it only reminds me of that only and has a long-lasting effect
on us which eventually hinders our learning or memorizing skill, as main motive of the student is
to learn the study and hence cyberbullying is not helping us just hindering us so in my hought the
cyberbullying is illegal. (Hendry, G. and et.al., 2018).
I have used my presentation skill and note making skill to evaluate the case study of the
12 year Female's student in the school which was affected by the Cyber bulling the year 2017
which explains that the more than 50% of news to the student suffers from the Cyber bulling As
with the help of my evaluation I was able to understand that the girl reason for societ was not the
teasing or the message which she used to read by the friend through the platform of social
media , it was a long-lasting stress which was faced by the 12-year girl which has forced girl to
take the action on the 14 June 2017, by the help of that I am able to understand the impact which
cyber bulling in having is non replaceable.(Case Study, 2017).

Assessment 1 Part C – Business Law case study Report
Research and assessment on Why cyber bulling is illegal
The case study which was explained in the assignment 2 was not able to be that clear
from my just presentation or evaluation it has taken me into more drive to understand that the
social media is a trap. The most important thing which has helped me in understanding the case
study was the research which I have done on the case study information material which says that
the cyber bulling does not just affect the student in their study directly it also affects the student
in the indirect ways also as the cyberbulling can result in the emotional breakdown of the student
in the University and these effect is more long-lasting as compare to the direct effect on the
student, not only that it last for the longer period but it eventually affects the mentality of the
student to learn something or to do something hence they are automatically used to go far away
from the study, at these point of time I was clear about that the cyberbulling is illegal for the
student irrespective how much enjoyment it provided to the student who is doing these type of
illegal activity for the sack of joy in the University. But it was not clear at that point of time that
the Cyber bulling is the one who was hampering the student or wrong usage of the Social media
by the student is creating difficulty for them self (Lange, D.B. and et.al., 2016).
For solving the above problem I used my sourcing skill and interrelated all the data with
the above case study I have found that the social media soul motive was to promote the good
feelings among their user by the help of the creative and innovative way and also to improve the
communication in between the different user of the social media platform hence the wrong usage
of it has resulted in the usage if this sort of platform for the purpose of the cyberbulling which
was one of the reason many university has taken the strict action regarding it action include the
suspension for more than 3 years in but the student are the one who has misused the plat form
for their use which has resulted in hampering their and other student growth in their study.
Female student and the sourced data as my note suggest that the Student use thecyber bulling as
a way of showing themselves in front of the other that they have the influence power over the
other student which they are bulling, Student are the one who used the platform for the way of
the entertainment and also student are the one only who have started promoting the wrong or
abusive content over the platform, there is no fault of social media in that as they have not
promoted any content, Social media platform has also taken some steps in reducing that by
suspending the user from the platform which are promoting the abusive or wrong content but the

student are the one who is by themself going into this illegal thing (Rabiner, Godwin and Dodge,
2016). Hence, it has been proved that the Cyber bulling is the illegal for the student but it is not
wholly the mistake of the social media platform as they have also given the good option for the
student to learn something out of it but the student are the one who have misused it as they are
the one who using the platform doe the purpose of the cyber bulling and it should be illegal so
that the new student never try to do such thing again.
RECOMMENDATION
After going all the data and the information in the above context it has been recommended that
the cyber bulling is illegal, they need to have the information regarding the feeling of the other
student in the university (Anderson, and Jiang, , 2018.).
It has also been recommended that the Student has to understand by themself only that they have
to manage their work in such a manner that they are having the time for their learning as it is
very important for their career, cyberbullying is the thing they need to ignore or they need to be
strong.
CONCLUSION
After going through above report it has been summarized that the academic skill is very
necessary for the student as they help the student in their learning as by the help of the academic
skill the student is able to increase the efficiency of their work in the University. It has been also
summarized that the cyber bulling is the biggest hurdle for the student in their learning as it is the
one who divert their focuses from the study and hence the thing which diverts student from the
learning is the hurdle. In the end it was summarized that the social media platform alone is not
responsible for cyber bulling, student are included in it.
