INTRODUCTION
Academic plagiarism is techniques which is continuously used for many times with the
help of quotation marks and with the help of references. In other words it is process in which
original piece of work is presented as own research and scholarship. This report is based on
Academic Plagiarism which have become more common over the period of time. Further, it is
know as act of taking credit for someone else work or idea. This has become a serious issue and
it is known as intellectual dishonesty. It also violates the business and university honour code
and can cause irreparable damage to a person reputation. This must be avoided because it result
in poor planning and bad decision.

The term Academic Plagiarism is the process of stealing or passing of the work of
another without his or her consent. In other words it is related to literary theft and it is an act of
fraud which is considered as unethical practises. A plagiarized business or work may lead to
failing grade, suspension and expulsion (Crane, 2019). For instance it is an act of using or
closely imitating the language and thoughts of another person without any authorization and
representation of work by taking the credit by own.
Academic integrity is the commitment to the work to be done with honesty and moral
behaviour while performing business activities. This can be more relevant to business as it
provide credit to other for using their ideas and methods. In simple term, Academic integrity
require acknowledging the contribution of other people. Cheating and fraud are considers as
plagiarism. There are method in which academic integrity can be explained in a detailed manner
are down below:
Academic Integrity: It is most known as most genuine and appropriate scholarship as
well as it is important to submit the actual work and researches and do not give the credit to the
other people. Academic integrity help in avoiding cheating in exams and provide authentic work
the professors.
The Centralized approach of Integrity:
In business environment Integrity plays an vital role it offer employees guidelines on
which they have to perform their business activities. The centralized approach have fundamental

goals, method and tone. In this technique the employees act in a dysfunctional way ans reflects
its honesty , moral, immoral and behaviour regarding the job. This help in developing individual
discipline which make more responsible towards work and it create sense in the mind of
employee to perform his duty with full dignity and respect. In this case if employees are cheating
or doing business in unethical way so manager or top management take action regarding the
employees. In centralized business environment decision taking power is one the hands of single
person or by superiors.
The Decentralized approach of Integrity:
In this method, the organisation leaves the matter towards individual department or to the
manager to handle the situation. It is responsibilities of managers to evolve the integrity in
employees so they can not misuse the ethical code of conduct. This kind of structure provide
power to different department and manager to take decision regarding unethical practises going
in business. Here prime duty of manager to empower and encourage employees to avoid
plagiarism and work with trust and honesty.
In modern society, it is common that competition has become cut- throat in workplace. In
addition to this economic downturn, workers have face cut to benefits, pension and salaries.
They often feel cogs in the wheel, which leads them towards conducting unethical practises.
Integrity help in belief in themselves and help in reaming true towards your work. This create a
sense of responsibilities in the mins of customers to perform their duty with full honesty even if
no one is watching. People with academic integrity are willing to stand up with their values and
speak out if there is unethical practises are going on. It is essential to develop code of integrity in
business as it help in generating goodwill in marketplace. It is crucial for employees to become
clear on values and belief system so that operational activities can be done effectively.
Human basically have sense of right and wrong this make them different form other
people. Individual with good sense and integrity will achieve success in business. If in case the
behaviour goes wrong or against the value system so business can experience physical reaction
such as feeling guilt or unease. In addition to this, if person or employees thinks the action or
behaviour makes uncomfortable, this could be the sign of not being true on your ethical code of
integrity (Cheah and Amran, 2019). Taking principal and integrity related to work and workplace
dynamics have the positive impact on the life and also help in growth of individual career and

Leadership: Motivating the employees is the main purpose of the leadership. They are
the individual who help to inspire people in order to achieve desire goal and objectives. For
leader it is important to be ethical and not bias in making decision.

person towards downfall and develop negative image in the minds of managers in organisation.

behaviour of a co-worker. To find person with Academic integrity is tuff task as it become the
prime preference for the company to hire employees who have Academic Integrity as well
company can trust on employees as well as on work.

plagiarism because it develop a negative image in them minds of teacher and also in business.
Along with this, Academic Integrity can be describe into ways centralise and decentralized
which hep help in understanding the brief concept of Integrity in business environment. Further
plagiarism should be avoided as it is conducted as unethical practises and it is illegal in the eyes
of law.
