I have learned about the academic writing styles which made my learnings more
effective. Academic writing is far different from some informal writing aspects as this
induced the information and relevance different references and citations. This shows
the believability of content and also gives justification to the content and theories.
Academic writing majorly depends on the truth and relevant concepts and this also
not contain fiction or estimation writing. I have understood that the academic writing
works on the basis of relevance.
Initially I was not sure about my capabilities and interest or learning but later it made
changes in my writing and understanding skills. The academic writing focuses in
driving the right and relevant content and most of the time the writing only goes
around those factors which are necessary to be discussed (Lillis, et. al., 2015). I
erudite that nonsense stuff is not applicable to be entertain by academic journals.
There is different type of academic journals which determines the right and
appropriate way to make the writing more justified and easy to understand.
According to my outlook, academic writing is most important way to complete the
writing activities as it gives relevance to the different approaches which have been
implemented by the writer. The improvement in writing and sentence framing will
spontaneously helps to attain good and effective grades. This will also help to make
the writing credible and in my opinion this is the best way to express the content with
the proper citation. This also makes the good impression in front of tutor and justifies
different research and efforts made by writer.
I have observed that initially my writing skills were not good as I was not able to
explain my thoughts in the lenient way which was making conflict for me to make the
formation of correct responses. The precise study of this concept helped me to
reduce the issue. It helped me in significant manner to make effective completion of
the given written tasks (Bartunek and Rynes, 2014). The academic journals help to
understand the quality writing as it gives the opportunity to write only valuable and
necessary content and also makes the formation of effective and relevant content.

Introduction
Child obesity is one of the major medical issues in context of health of children. The
children obesity indicates towards the children who are over weighted according to
their age and height. There are different reasons of obesity in children it could be
because of their nourishment or inherited from their families. The reason could be
second priority but it cannot be avoided that this is dangers for the children.
Particular portfolio will discuss about the different factors which can be the reason of
such issue. The qualitative and quantitative style of information gathering will also be

The above research and objective methods had determined about the issues of
obesity in the current time of period. Different qualitative and quantitative research
articles made the learnings more justified. The qualitative articles made an
understanding about the theoretical factors related to the concept the description
over different methods and numerical conclusions had informed via the help the help
of quantitative research method. That had been observed that this is becoming one
of the major health issues in past few years and affecting the children lifestyle and in
negative manner (Karnik and Kanekar, 2012). There are many of the aspects which
become the reason of such issues. that had been analysed that could be the result
of internal or external factors of the current environment as it could be the issues of
current lifestyle changes or the inherited problem.
Children obesity issue in US is increasing on the rapid rate as pet the analysis one
third children of the country is being caused with the issue. Children of current tome
are having the smaller quantity health related issues and medical problem as
compare to the adults. Nevertheless, the issue of overweight is increasing by the
time which is affecting the growth of the children. On the other hand, overweight is
becoming one of the major reason of children are causing with the health issues like
diabetes and heart problems. Children are also likely to have the issues of stress,
sadness and low self-assurance (Pérez-Farinós, et. al., 2013). The issue requires
major concern of the guardians of children as such issues are not riskier the they are
appearing. Judicious resolution is predominantly necessary to reduce the probability
of further issues and challenges.
The issue can only be resolved when the main reason of such problem be
understood. There are many of the factors which can cause the issue of obesity and
affect the children life. Some of the main reasons could be hereditary influences, less
physical activities and actions, unhealthy and unnecessary eating pattern. That could
be the combination of all of such issues if the children do not have proper
observation. These are the main reasons of this issue in current time. There are
some of the possibilities to cause with this issue due to the medical conditions or
hormonal changes. these internal and external factors are increasing such issues
promptly. To understand the actual reason one of the best way is to having the

physical exam or blood test on the medical aspects. This is necessary to understand
the actual cause of the issue.
Even though, there are another issues which can be the reason of obesity. This is
not necessary that all the children of obesity family will have to face the issue. The
children of the family which is causing with this issue have chances to face the
issues. the children can be affected if his/her parents or sibling are bringing about
the same issues. this sin one of the reason which is not caused by anyone and one
of the medical disability which is needed to be faced by the children. Some kind of
treatment is currently available to reduce the cause but that is not much enough to
get rid of issue completely (Prince, et. al., 2014). The medical science also making
this is one of the major concern and making the efforts to attain rapid and required
changes in the medical cure of the issues.
This can be understood that the medical issues are not in the hands of normal
human being to be resolved. But the issues which are not hormonal not caused from
the medical imbalance that can be reduced and get out of them resolved in
appropriate manner. This can be determining that the health and weight depends on
the day to day lifestyle and physical activities of the children. The unnecessary and
unbounded use of internet is influencing the day to day activities. That has been
observed that the children of current time are not interested to do the physical
activities which is causing their health in negative manner (Grossman, et. al., 2017).
The availability of technical products like television and video games are influencing
the mind-set of children and they are also not likely using the activities which are
necessary to be applied for their health.

Conclusion
This is concluded from the portfolio study that the academic writing is one of the best

academic writing had also discussed in the report. In the further study the portfolio
