INTRODUCTION
A human develops various different types of
sets of skills during the coarse of life. Business
management is one them, it means the study that
is related to the better managerial skills in the
business enterprise. Skills which are developed
in the academics are enormous and are most
vital in shaping the personality and character of
the individual. Skills like listening, writing,
reading, presenting etc. falls under the category
of academic skills(Martí, 2018).

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT’S CHALLENGES IN

Studying business management is very vital for the
progression of an enterprise but not an easy nut to crack.
Development of these can be very challenging as in it an
individual has to bring changes in own mind-set and pay
more focus on development of business, which has always
been difficult for every entrepreneur or business leaders.

Skills and habits which are developed during the
process of academical learning process such as writing,
listening, reasoning, data analysis, note making, self
discipline, time management etc are known as
academic skills (Beagon and Bowe, 2018).

Personal skills are also known as social skills that are
been exhibited by a person in social activities. Personal
skills includes skills like communicational skills,
leadership skills, coordination skills, managing skills

Skill Resources Judging Criteria Time Period
Flexibility In order to develop my flexibility, I need to put myself through situations
where I am not comfortable and try to finish my work under such
environment. Trying to step out of my comfort zone and trying
something new can be helpful in bringing out my ability to adapt under
difficult situation.
A true judgement of my flexibility can be exhibited by the efficiency of my
work in situation in which I am out of my comfort zone.
Being a rigid person from the beginning, it will take approximately 4 to 5
months properly evolving adaptability.
Poor judgement of people Being a poor judge of friends, I will talk about this weakness with my
elders like my grandparents and parents. Because of their life
experiences they will be able to guide me towards how to judge good
qualities in friends and people.
If I do not encounter any further people who are capable of deceiving me
or betraying me, this will be a perfect criteria of my progress towards
judgment of people.
Under proper guidance and by following the tips told to me by my elders,
I can learn quickly to judge people correctly, in time period of about 1-2
months.

Summary
This project concluded with discussing about different types of personal and academic skills.
Each of their importance in an individual's life is also discussed in detail in this project.
Studying business management is not easy, this has been elaborated in the project with the help
of presenting challenges that comes across the students while studying business management.
