• Business management can be defined as a skill which could help individuals in coordinating and managing the business operations of
an organization. There are certain challenges faced by students planning to study business management or thriving in a professional
practice. They are as follows:
• Adjusting with new environment
• Many students move to different cities, locations or even moves abroad in order to develop a professional skill within themselves or
to study business management.
• Time management
• Studying business management or developing a professional skill within an individual is nor an easy task.
• Team working
• When the students are studying in schools, most of the assignment given by the tutor are to be completed by the students individually.

The importance of effective academic skills development
• Academic skills refers to those skills and abilities of an individual which helps them in succeeding in their school and other educational
institutions. The importance of effective academic skill development has been explained below:
• Boosts confidence
• It has been determined that the academic skills such as communication skills, management skills, coordinating and organizing skills helps
the students in enhancing their over all development and thus helps them in boosting their confidence.
• Enhancing performance
• Academic skills includes a number of skills such as time management skills, decision-making skills, problem solving skills, research and
analysis skills, and many more of such skills are included within the criteria of academic skills.
• Career
• Time management and decision-making skills are also a part of academic skills. These two skills helps an individual in excelling in their
careers.

The importance of effective professional skills development
• Professional skills refers to those skills within an individual that helps them in
achieving great heights in their career, workplace and carrying out a job activity.
The importance of professional skill development has been explained below:
• Make a living
• When an individual is efficient with certain professional skills within himself,
that skills could help the student in enhancing its career by using the professional
skills within the same and thus, make a living out of it.
• Carry out routine tasks
• The professional skills within an individual are not only used in professional
careers, but they are useful in carrying out their day to day functions.

One skill that is particularly important, but I am weak at: Time Management skills.
