Introduction
Life as whole is a learning process. A human being gets to learn something new everyday in every
part of life. For example in schools and educational institutes set of skills learnt by a person are
enormous, lasting and most vast like listening, reading, communicating, analytical thinking,
reasoning and many more. These skills are known as academic skills. Like wise a person gets to
learn many new things from their workplace and profession. These skills includes skills such as
quick thinking, team work, leadership, getting emotionally bold, gaining control over emotions and
many more.

Business management’s challenges in studying and
professional practice
• Studying in itself is a very a casual task
and in order to master something new
requires complete determination and hard
work. And this becomes even challenging
when it comes to business management.
Being an important yet equally difficult
subject, business management is very
complicated string which includes
elements like financial aspects,
management of those factors etc.

The importance of effective academic skills development
• Skills that are learnt by students in the school, class
room, or any other educational institute are known as
academic skills. The examples of academic skills are
very vast and vary from listening, reading, writing,
communicating to critical thinking and problem

Public Speaking I will ask to my mentor to arrange weekly two
classes for public speaking and provide us with
different topics for speaking.
I can make comparison from my past performance. My mentor
will also tell me about what progress do I have after each lecture
on the basis of which I'll evaluate my development.
Three months.
Presenting I will ask to my mentor to give us more
presentations than assignments so that I can make
and prepare. I will ask her to take at-least two to
three presentation classes so that I gradually learn
how to present confidently.
After each presentation I ask about my mistakes to my mentor
then I note it down and when I get desired knowledge I will make
comparison and evaluation from previous performances.

Summary
From this report it can be concluded that in a person's learning experience they learn a lot of skills
and talents. The talents learnt in the schools and educational institutes are called academic skills
while the skills that are learnt in the professional environment are known as professional skills.
