Section A
The first impression of this task on me was realty good. There were various kinds of
skills that were learnt by me for past few weeks that helped me in completing this task on time.
Some of the main skills learnt by me were research skills that helped me in using library and
electronic resources, reading skills for note taking within class. This task also helped in
enhancing me written skills which further helped me in writing essay or report properly. Note
taking was a bit challenging for me because for it I needed to be multi- tasking i.e. to listen,
understand and write notes simultaneously.
Academic essay helped me in understanding ways in which a topic is first of all
introduced then it is divided into sub parts so that readers can understand it in a much better
manner and then ways in which it is concluded at the end. Overall structure of academic essay is:
introduction, main body, conclusion and references (Hoa, and Tuan, 2019). By bringing
improvement within by research skills in can bring improvement my academic essay. Written
skills also helped me in understanding and writing a report. Structure of report is similar to
academic writing but it consists of recommendations at the end. It is extremely useful in future
because professionally employees are required to develop report for every task and project. This
task further helped me in learning about referencing and ways in which it can be used for
developing bibliography. Referencing is extremely important in research so that one can research
and collect required information from authentic sources (Khan and et. al., 2017). It further helps
us in learning to write in our own language and if any information is used then it can be
referenced properly in order to avoid plagiarism.
Section B
There are various kinds of skills that are required to be developed and each of them has
their own importance and use. Some of these skills are:
One of the main skills is reflection skill. Refection is a way of analysing one’s own experience in
order to improve our own learning and experience. It further helps learners in gaining self-
awareness, enhance their overall learning experience.
Communication skill was another important skill which is required to be developed. This skill is
useful and helps in communicating properly in class with other students and teachers (Kourakli
and et. al., 2017). I have learnt both written and verbal communication skill. Both of these skills
have helped me in enhancing by communication skills which is useful in debate. It has further

helped in developing confidence within me enough to participate in online or classroom debate
competition.
Presentation skill is another important skill which is required to be improved. After giving the
presentation I realised that I need to bring improvement within my presentation skills as well.
Because after giving presentation I realised that my presentation was too long and audience did
not seem to take much interest. I realised that my presentation was not interactive enough as I did
not ask much questions. In order to bring improvement within my presentation skills I need to
work upon my expressions, interactive skills, ask feedback from tutor and other students.
Another skill which is required to be improved is time management skill. Many times, when I
need to do more task in less duration of time period it becomes difficult for me to manage time.
In order to manage different task on time in an appropriate manner it is important to learn to
manage time (Mahanal and et. al., 2019). For this I will try to make schedule according to tie
time duration in which task are required to be completed and as per their priority. This will help
me completing all the task as per their priority within desired time duration.
Other than this I also need to enhance my planning skills in order to develop roper and
appropriate revision strategies, complete all the task on time, manage both studying and personal
like appropriately. Planning can help in identifying deadline in which task are required to be
completed. It further helps in managing completion of all the task simultaneously. Sticking to
plan can not only help in timely completion of all task but will also help in saving time as well.it
will further help in doing revision of all the lessons. Using planning skill, we can develop
revision strategy as well.
Section C
There are various kinds of challenges of studying faced by me. One the main challenge
was to manage all the task on time and achieve desired results on time. Another one of the main
challenges of studying faced by me was multi- tasking and giving proper presentation in front of
class. It was extremely important for me to overcome these challenges and develop proper and
effective strategy in order to overcome these challenges of studying. In order to overcome these
challenges I will try to develop personal development plan. Development plan is helpful in
overcoming these challenges because it will help me in identifying resources that will be
required, actions required to overcome these challenges as well as time period required for
completion of those task. Not only this, it will further help me in analysing my performance after

overcoming these challenges in order to check whether I have successfully overcome these
challenges or not. In order to overcome these challenges, there are various kinds of support
available that can be used by me such as help from teachers, feedback or reviews from other
students. But in order to overcome these challenges I need to remain on track and manage my
time in an appropriate manner and for that I will develop a plan so that I can complete all my
daily task on time and can work on bringing improvement within my current skills in order
overcome those challenges. Development plan will help me in distributing my time as per
priority daily task and overcoming challenges of studying in a proper manner.
