Reflective Report
Academic skills play an important role in order to achieve the ultimate goals of life. As
these skills help each other to develop the academic skills from the institution. It is also helpful
for me to gain knowledge with respect to the fields after choosing to gain the degree. The course
which I have chosen is helpful for me to get a knowledge about it by the course which is offered
by the Institution as in the institution there are several activities which helps me in order to
develop my skills and knowledge with respect to each and every field that might be helpful in
order to gain the Ultimate success. To achieve the goals it is important for me to have a smart
goals and objective model as it helps me in order to determine the various skills which are
present in and used in order to develop better people so that I can easily face the challenges in
future.
Conclusion
From the above report can be concluded that academic course are helpful in order to
develop the number of skills and knowledge which can be used by me in order to be successful
in my career. There are several schools which require to be developed as we help me in order to
develop myself.

Part B Based on case study of Child Labour
Introduction
There are several children who are forced to work in the age of learning and enjoying
life. The force to work for such children can come from the families in their deprived situation
which might become a reason for them to work (Acharya and Naranjo, 2018). There are several
small kids who are responsible for their families' livelihood. In The context of the International
Labour Organisation minimum wages convention of 1973, child level means a work which has
been performed by children of early ages. A decided age by the International Labour
Organisation is below 12 years. The child between the age of 12-14 and hazardous work in the
age of 15-17 is considered as child labor. This is not beneficial for the child as it harms both
physical and mental development. In this report there are various arguments with support and are
in against of child labour is discussed.
Argument for and against the use of child labour
Argument for the use of child labour
 No child's or their parents are willing to drop their childhood and allowed them to work
in order to fulfill the basic requirements of the family. The parents used to send their
child to work in order to provide a good life to them and their families (Callander and
Lindsay, 2018). There are several arguments that support that child labour should be
allowed in supply chain as it is the basic necessity which cannot be fulfilled by the
families. The argument is discussed below:
 The most important reason in which the families used to send their child to work is
poverty. Poverty can be seen all over the world. It is this situation in which the families
are required that their child should work at a very small age. Government order trying
different strategies in order to resolve the issue of poverty instead of banning the child
labour. The government should not ban the child labour and should work upon to resolve
the poverty from the nation because everyone has a basic right to earn their livelihood.
 Banning the child labour will improve the social economic condition of the child but it is
necessary for them to earn their livelihood. There are so many situations which are faced

by the children where they are forced to earn their livelihood in order to fulfill the basic
requirements of the family. Children can not work then it will be difficult for the family
to survive in such a situation.
 In some of the countries the child labour are banned but there are high risk of increasing
the initial activities in such countries because everyone has to on their lives in order to
fulfill the basic requirements (Fischer, 2017). The family situation will make the child
restless and burning the child labour by the government will resulted in involvement of
such children into the illegal activities as they have to on their livelihood for their
families by any of the method.
 The government can improve the working conditions for the children by giving them
extra wages and less working hours as this helps them to on their livelihood and satisfy
the basic needs of the family instead of banning but child labour (Lloyd, Antonopoulos
and Papanicolaou, 2020). The government can also provide better opportunities for such
students where they can have proper education and other benefits so which can be availed
by them in the future and helpful for the development of the economic conditions
Argument against the use of child labour
There are many arguments which are against the child labour as the child labour is not
beneficial with respect to the mental and Physical health of the children (McQuade, 2018). The
arguments are discussed below:
 Education: education plays an important role in everyone's life. The child can be e
educated at the early age instead of getting indulged in child labour activities. When the
child is busy in child labour activities then it will be difficult for them to focus on their
studies. They cannot take out the proper time to study.
 Exploitation of human rights: according to human rights it can be said that everyone has a
right to get education which should be free as it is the fundamental right of every child.
When the children are engaged in child labour the right of education will be violated as
they are engaged in working at the small age only.
 Opportunities are less: it can be also says that when two children are engaged in child
labour activities then it will be difficult for them to get trapped out of the poverty
(Sinclair, 2019). And somehow they have the right to get education. Because of the work

the children cannot manage the time to get proper education which will diminish their
earning potential and result in lack of opportunities which can be availed by them in their
future.
Conclusion
It can be concluded from the above report that child labour is the most common practice
which is faced by almost all of the countries around the world. These kinds of activities affect the
physical and mental health of the children. Only banning the child labour cannot resolve the
issues of the children as most of the children who are engaged in child labour are the one who
are working to earn livelihood for their families. It is necessary for the government to take
several steps so that they can provide their livelihood and a time of proper education should be
given to them as this helps them to grow and have better opportunities in their future. This can be
also useful in order to overcome poverty.
