INTRODUCTION
Individuals require to have appropriate academic and research skills which help them to execute
adequate activities in effective manner. Note making is technique used by investigator to take

methods. Primary and secondary are two research methods which help person to ascertain first
time data and published data with help of questionnaire, interview, books and journals. This

Own strengths and weaknesses
Person has skills and abilities which help them to execute activities in effective manner.
It is necessary that individual has complete information about their strengths and weaknesses
which help them to have true picture about different tasks which they will be able to attain
objectives within defined time. Note making, summarising, research and paraphrasing are
appropriate technique used by individual to improve capabilities by taking guidance and
instruction from seniors.
Strengths: These are various traits which an individual possess to carry out activities and
complete targets within defined time are as follows:
Leadership skills: I have good interpersonal ability which helps me to guide members and
provide them appropriate information to make them perform activities effectively.
Creative and unique thinking: I possess knowledge in different areas which benefit me to
formulate innovative ideas and execute activities in unique manner.
Listening skills: I have good listening ability as I pay attention to other people and take
suggestions and information from experts, instructors and coach. This helps me to acknowledge
things in better manner and to have appropriate knowledge which benefit me to grow in career
and make success with time (Roebers and et. al., 2011).
Weaknesses: These are various shortfalls and negative traits which I have are defined below:

Communication skills: I am not able to interact with other people as I have less confidence and
am not able to provide appropriate information to others. This impact on my performance as I am
not able to easily make connection with people.
Language skills: I even face problem to interact with other people which have different
languages so it will be problematic to inform them and connect. Along this, English which is
famous language but every nation has variety of form of English spoken by people.
Interpersonal skills: I have poor communication ability which influence on constructing
relations with other people and keep them in connection.
Therefore, strengths and weaknesses are examined by individual to have accurate and
complete information about skills and abilities; thereby take various improvement classes to
enhance capabilities. This helps person to overcome difficulties and problems that are faced
while conducting activities in effective manner.
Set targets for self-improvement
SMART technique define that targets need to be formulated in manner that targets are
specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound. Person frame objectives which helps
to conduct activities and monitor progress with help of standard set by seniors. These are various
targets which are formulated by me to enhance capabilities and for self-improvement are stated
beneath (Domínguez-Flores and Wang, 2011):
To enhance presentation abilities by taking 3 months coaching classes.
To learn Microsoft and various other software to work with technologies in 4 month
duration.
To develop communication skills and capability to speak English smoothly.
Sessions, coaching, expert guidance and conferences are various techniques used by me
to improve abilities and skills. This helps me to conduct activities effectively and have
appropriate knowledge in respect to language, technology and interpersonal ability.

Note making is tactic which defines that individual need to have good listening skills
which help them to record data properly. It is essential that expert and experience people are
