Academic skills refers to the the skills and talent of students the benefits then in their
academic learning such as learning, research, presentation and report writing. It also includes
communication, analysis, planning social, test taking, technical skills, etc. It is important for the
students to develop these skills in order to make sure that they are continuously developing the
skills which can help them in their academic as well as professional career(Aurangzeb, W., &
Akhtar, N. (2019)). It will help the individual in developing a skills set which is helpful for the
overall personality of the individual. The report is constituted in four different tasks which are
needed to be addressed effectively. In this report, the skills of time management development is
provided along with resources and reflection of skills which are needed to develop the skills. The
report also covers the literature of searching, note taking and evaluating the skills which are
developed. At the end of the report, avoiding plagiarism and referencing techniques is provided
accordingly.
Task 1 time management
Time management skill is an important skill which helps the individual in developing a plan
through which they can complete their tasks within time limit and without missing any
deadline.it requires proper planing of the tasks, prioritizing the tasks so that important tasks as
well as limited deadline tasks can be completed firstly, creating a setting boundaries for the tasks
assigned, delegating and outsourcing the tasks efficiently and building an efficient system which
can help the students in managing their time according to their schedule (Agarwal, B. (2019)) .
Time management does not only include providing time to work related commitments or
assignments but to provide efficient time to family, friends or recreations as well. The time table
is provided below:
