INTRODUCTION
Academic skills define those abilities which every student needs to have in order to
complete their project. This report has been define how academic session help in gaining
knowledge in the filed of employability and improve knowledge and skill of personal which help
in attaining their career goal.
TASK 1
Reflection on past experience.
Scenario: I am an student who studying in university. Last month my class teacher took
session related on academic and employability skills. In which we studied different module
regarding this chapter. In order to share my experience regarding what I have learnt from this
chapter I used,Gibbs reflective model, with the help of this model I am able to share my
experience and feeling in effective manner.
Our class teacher took session on academic and employability skills. I was very excited
to took class of this chapter. As this will consider one of my favourite chapter and after taking
class on this chapter my management skills has been enhanced (Cotronei-Baird, 2020).
I am very excited for this sessions. However I was also feeling scared as during the time
of taken class,the whole class is divided in different groups and task regarding with session has
been given by class teacher. Thus I was scared that what task shod class teacher give us, whether
I am able to complete task or not. My group mates also very excited however some of my
teammate already have knowledge regarding the session thus they are confident that they can
easily complete their task and responsibility and gain high marks of attaining this session.
When the session has been started, class teacher give us knowledge on marketing
concept. Theses includes, branding, about customer satisfaction, different management style,
team building process, marketing mix which attract customer. They also given session related
with how corporate social responsibility effect or directly impact on the business success rate.
This also covered about the issue arise related with environment, how team is build. This
session useful in order to cover all theses chapters which help in gaining knowledge regarding
with skills of employability (Griffiths, Inman, Rojas. and Williams, 2018).
During take class of different session, I am able to understand how brand name or
symbol directly effect on the goodwill of organization as well as strategies formulate to fulfil

corporate social responsibility. I also learn how manager recognize perception ad they formate
policies to satisfy their customers as well as effective marketing four P is used by manager for
increases selling rate of their organization. This session is related with how different skills in
module help in enhance ability of individual to understand relevant business terms and theses are
useful in future business growth.
This session also includes how countries are related with each other, and I understand the
reason why countries name were changed as well as about history of some of there famous
countries which includes, Toledo , Madrid, Moscow,St Petersburg Rio de Janeiro.
After completion of session related with marketing, our class teacher took session on
communication skills, in which I have learnt some of skills require to develop and enhance
communication, how reading skills useful in develop career growth as well as policies and
strategies manager use for enhance level of job satisfaction of human resource of organization.
I have face difficulties during the time as there were some of terms which I am not able to
understand as well as I cannot able to complete my task which class teacher given us during the
time of running session. However I have learnt all the essential terms which help in increasing
my knowledge various terms (Nisha. and Rajasekaran, 2018).
I don't understand the reason of changing countries name as well as deciding of taking
lecture on history I an not properly concept at lectures. Thus my concept regarding with
historical knowledge of some countries are not get clear.
The whole session was consider as wonderful experience for me as I have learnt so many
things, my concept on different topic of communication, job sanctification, marketing, has been
clear as well as during the time of completion of task. It haver learnt team management skills
also. Thus it was wonderful experience for me, and taken session of this class help in improving
my skills and management ability.
During the time of taken session I have face issue regarding with understanding terms
of corporate social responsibility, how communication skill applied in practical life and how
team is coordinated. I also face issue regarding with brand symbol of formulate and they help in
retail selling, for overcome theses issue I have decided that I concentrate focus during the time of
taking lecture as as well as before taken any session, I took small overview regarding with topic
which our class teacher take session.

For complete my task I take online as class which help in build my confidence and by
understand which topic of session I am able to overcome all the issue which I have face during
the time of take sessions.

Following are the skilled which I acquired after taking session :
Communication skills: This session help me to increase my communication skills. I
understand how different tools are used in order to communicate with people as well as how
communication skills useful in attract or influence people. As in management sector it is
essential for every person to have effective communication skill through which they are able to
influence other people (Sarkar, Overton, Thompson. and Rayner, 2020).
Reading skills: Before taking session, my reading skills are not so good, this session help
in providing my reading as well as provide different term of related topic skills. Which help in
improve my spoken skills also.
Critical thinking skills: During the time of running session class teacher give me
different task , by participating in taken different task , my skills related with solving issue and
how to overcome issue or problem has been increase .
IT skills: During the timer of session used technical devices which help in understand my
knowledge regarding with how IT technique useful for communication and use of these
technique in real life.
Team management: this session also helpful in understand the relevance of team
management in completion tasks. As well as I have learn how to manage and coordinate in team
as team member. And how communication is required during the time of management of a team
as well as how to direct and provide guideline to team member for completion of task.
Concentration: Session of study, different module of employability skills help in
overcome my concentration problem. After taking this session my concentration skills for
completion of work as listener to or dedication of completion of task has been increases
(Skoyles, Bullock, and Neville, 2019).
Difficulties faced during the time of study.
Effective conduction of a research paper evolves undertaking various activities and the
valuable resources with proper coordination and pure dedication of an individual while
undertaking various research activities(Gherardi, 2019). An individual needs to ensure all data as

well as information is being extracted from reliable sources and delivers best possible quality to
its readers. However, number of difficulties or issues are encountered at the time of conduction
of a research paper. Various difficulties faced during conducting the present study are as follows:
Time management: Proper management of time is being main concern and is also an
important factor for achievement of success in once life career and objectives. As this project
was assigned to us on a very near deadline, management of time proved to very hard task for me.
While conducting this study, I faced issue of proper time management, as it was a difficult task
for me to take out time from my daily schedule as it was an abnormal activity for me.
Choosing the right methodology: After selecting topic of the research, next step is
selection of appropriate research methodology. It becomes an important task for a researcher to
select appropriate research methodology in order to ensure effective conduction of research
keeping in mind resources available to an individual. At the starting of my research, after
deciding relevant topic with suggestions of my mentors, I was very confused, as to which
research methodology would suit the best for delivering good quality report.
Lack of access to resources: As I am a student, I found it difficult to manage various
activities to be conducted during the research paper. I faced huge difficulty in gathering enough
resources for completion of the study (Nisbet and Shucksmith, 2017). I had to take every step
and plan accordingly as per limited availability of resources for conduction of this report.
Finding study participants: It was a challenging task foe me to find a target audience on
the basis of which I can draw results and conclusions. As choosing up of wrong audience or
candidates would lead to wastages of money as a resource and will also waste time as a resource
too. With addition to that, it also could lead to conduction of the report in wrong direction and
will result in failure of research aims and objectives. Therefore, selecting appropriate candidates
was a huge task for me for proper conduction of the research paper.
Strategies used to overcome the difficulties.
Various strategies and plans, I used to overcome above mentioned difficulties are as
follows:
Effective time management techniques: By using effective time management
techniques, an individual can follow up through effective conduction of a study (Rhyner and et.
al., 2017). I used various principles of time management such as developing action plan and
making various strategies and approaches for approaching this report. I divided entire report into

small goals and tasks and kept small deadline for each tasks. It helped in completion of report in
given deadline without hampering quality of the research paper.
Combination of research methods: Extraction of data from any one type of research
methodology is a difficult task for an individual researcher. Therefore, I opted for primary as
well as secondary method of research methodology. As primary extraction of data helped me in
interpreting information about the subject matter and provided information about latest trends
and also provided quality of information, which ultimately helps in bringing up quality of the
research paper. On the other hand, secondary research method helped in conduction of research
paper by using effective cost cutting techniques and also saved time which ultimately contributed
towards completion of given project in given deadline.
Effective resource management techniques: with light to the fact that, resources are
limited in nature, therefore pure dedication should be made in order to use resources. I used
effective management techniques in order to manage limited resources available for meeting
every aspect of project (Tomlinson, 2018). I availed various cost cutting techniques and focused
on avoiding wastage of resources through duplication of efforts and adopted smart working
techniques i.e. using of brain power rather than physical power.
Conducting surveys: For overcoming difficulty of finding up of study participants, I
organised a survey in which analysis of selected candidates were taken into consideration. It
helped me in building up of a strong report and also enhanced the quality of report with realistic
facts and suggestion considered in the process of survey. By conducting survey there were
various outcomes drawn out, on the basis of which present study was processed by me. This
technique helped me in overcoming difficulty of finding appropriate candidates for the research
and also guided the report towards its effective conducting keeping in mind various facts and
information used in this study.
CONCLUSION
From the above analysis it has been concluded that employability includes various skills
which help individual to successfully cooperate in their work. Individual need to have knowledge
regarding with how branding and marketing strategies directly impact on the success of
organization as well as team management skills help in attaining and completion of goal of
