1.1 Expectation when coming to college
Introduction
There are number of expectation that an individual have when they come in the college for the
first time. This can be related to personal or professional development with the knowledge
gained in the college.
Main body
An individual uses to come in the college to gain its knowledge and learn new skills that
are needed for growth (Van den Broeck. and et. al., 2021). When they come in college then there
are different skills which individual want to improve in them so in the college they get guidance
by their tutors.
The individual also find friends and relations at the college which develop a
belongingness in each student who is studying in the college. The individual have fun with the
study so that they are more involved and willing to come at college (Bickerstaff, Barragan and
Rucks-Ahidiana, 2017). They are expected that they will involve in different type of task and
also get the prizes for the same.
In the college the higher level of qualification is provided to the students so the individual
who is taking education must have career opportunities. When the individual will get better
career opportunity then they will grow effectively.
Conclusion
This concludes that the expectation are always positive when individual come in the
college to get the qualification. They find that skills and knowledge which they will go to
enhance in the college will help in better career growth. Every individual who is coming in the
college have expected to learn new things, more explore their subject topic and also have fun and
being more social with the other people.

1.2 Importance of planning for academic task and management of time at college
Introduction
The planning is one of the key component to get success in every sector and field, the
academic task are also needed planning to perform all its task within the time (Slipac, Zeljko and
Šljivac, 2019). When the individual perform its task with planning then time is automatically
managed in the college.
Main body
Planning is the practise in which task are developed which need to perform in the near
future, in this process the individual uses to think of the activities which are needed for
achievement of desired goal (De Lessio and et. al., 2019). The planning also help to prioritize the
things which are things which needed to complete earlier. The short-term goal are the steps
which are ultimately contributed in the long-term goal. Planning become most important task in
Montrose college for the individual who are taking admissions over their as this will help student
of Montrose to predict the position they have in their future. The time is also being managed
when the planning is done by student. The individual will get to know about the aim and also
know their short-term goal as well as long-term goals.
Time management is the process which is undertaken by the individual to manage its task
and activities in this the individual uses to plan and control the time which is being spent on the
specific activities. The person with proper time management is efficient in its work, less stress in
comparison with other. The productivity get increased when the time is effectively used by the
individual. The student in Montrose college find the time management is one of the main

element to improve the performance in the college because with this individual get more time in
enhance the skills. Time management is the key to success for the students at Montrose college

As a student of Montrose college my plan is to develop my skills and enhance my
knowledge to have more effective growth. Primary I will focus on my skills which are lacking in
me before entering into college (Rafique and Jianhua, 2018). While being in the college I will go
to analysis my current situation which are the subject in which I need to get more development. I
will also perform my task with the given time frame so that more productivity is done by me. I
will also avoid the wastage of time and involve in those task which will help me to experience
the skills and knowledge related to my career.

Introduction
The internet is one of the main element for the student and the staff who is working in
academic to research and collected the required data (Rayan and et. al., 2017). There are number
of benefits and drawback of using internet in research at academic. With this student are able to
prepare more effectively in their exams. Internet helps to learn more effectively in the academics.

The internet is being one of the basic need which helps in students to work with
technology so that it contribute in more productivity (Zhang, Liang and Xiao, 2018). The
information which is used by the student are more relevant because they are latest and updated
when collected by using internet. Internet also hep in saving the time of the students and act as
more convenient for the student to use and learn.
Their is some negative point which are incurred when the student are making use of
internet while studying in the academic. Some time the information collected using internet is
being fake and irreverential. Their are also such source which are different not for use in the
research.
