INTRODUCTION
The academic integrity is the tool by which students can assemble new ideas, creativity with
work while acknowledging the work done with others (Sotiriadou And et. Al., 2020). In this
report we will understand Integrity in the academics is basically based on the values such as
honesty, respect and responsible working. Further in this the important while taking the higher
education is also discussed as this put the respective values into practise. With this practises the
students work with responsibility. Moreover the implications of academic misconducts are also
discussed. The techniques to develop the academic skills are their importances are described.
MAIN BODY
IMPORTANCE OF ACADEMIC INTEGRIETY IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Integrity in the academics refers to more ethical towards the education and when the
student is taking the higher education the role of integrity increases more (Poitras, Pratt and
Gladue, 2022). They need to perform their work with more accuracy and also should able to
work with more responsibility with other. When the values of integrity are followed in the
academic then it will also help to enhance the overall quality of the work done by an individual.
Basically in all the universities where the higher education is given to the individuals use to
provide similar opportunities (Özcan, Yeniçeri and Çekiç, 2019). When an individual make use
of academic integriety then they will remain more responsible and honest towards their work.
Academic integrity is the basic and sole responsibility of each and every member or staff in a
University (Batechko And et. Al,. 2020). If a student working with full honesty and with full
accuracy taking the responsibility of the assigned work and involving in New ideas developing
new thoughts and presenting it in front of everyone then he can be called as a person doing work
with full integrity and if the teacher is also doing the same like listening to every students ideas
and involving and encouraging each student to take part in debates and giving new ideas the
integrity will be maintained in an University with both the efforts. If a student or a teacher or any
staff members are involved in any fraudulent activities or doing misconduct activities like

leaking papers, students involved in cheating or copying assignment the strict action will be
taken by the University for example suspension ,or punishment any legal action against
teachers ,any kind of penalties to staff . This is neither good for the future of students or it for the
other members it leads to bad impression and bad goodwill of the university.
Integrity is important to maintain the goodwill of a university if all the members are
coordinating the work with full cooperation with full faith and honesty it leads to good
performance and more goodwill of a university. Goodwill is important for an university to have a
good competition .the university which have high level of integrity will be more compatible then
others .moreover if the integrity is maintained in an environment more advance and tough level
things can be done with more ease and with more accuracy which is good for the future of the
students to learn more advanced things with ease (Summers And et. Al,. 2021).
Nowadays due to Covid the students are learning through online platforms and the teachers are
taking online sessions the best results from online teaching can only be achieved by teachers and
students following their rules and duties responsibly for that they have to follow the path of
integrity to maintain good working relation between them they have to work with full accuracy
with full honesty and the one of the most important thing with full trust between each
other .teachers has to listen what the students are telling and the students need to do the same for
better understanding and for the academic integrity (Okoye, 2018). The university have to
compete with other university so they have to maintain their academic integrity to be completive
in front of others.
Implication of academic misconduct
There are number of implication that may occur when the individual is misconduct in its
academics. This may includes plagiarism, information which is unauthorised while doing a
particular task. Basically the implications related to the misconduct are also according to the
severity of misconduct (Tiong And et. Al,. 2018). this kind of activities may lead to suspension
or discharge by the university premises. The tutors also deduct the mask and remove the
individual from the particular assessment and mark fail. . If a student or a teacher or any staff

In every university of higher education the council people of the student regularly
monitor the behaviour and work done by students. The supervisors in this have the authority to
complaint about the misconduct undertaken by any student and further the committee decide the
action for that. Universities are also tries to resolve the issues faced by the students and not to
push anyone to misconduct the academic integrity. When an individual undertake the misconduct
then it directly impact of the image of the university.
This can also reduce the liability of the institute which may lead to unwanted loss. The
tutors are regularly taught the student to avoid any kind of misconduct and also describe them the
drawbacks to do so. There are many factors which can lead to academic misconducts.
Ineffective time management skill in students
The students are performing their work without any time limit so with this practise they are not
able to complete their work on time (Ison, 2019). They are also having their individual
responsibility with their families and this also may lead to misconducts practises. When they are
not having time to complete their work and they need to complete it in less time then they follow
misconduct activities.
Psychological factor
In current world the academic student are also not that much focused on their studies and have
unreal expectation from themselves (Stoesz, 2022). They avoid asking for questions and pretend
that they know the entire topics which are explained in the higher education.
Avoiding limits
Every university has made the particular limits for the students studying in their premises and all
the student have to perform their work inside that. The students are avoiding that they are
performing their duties with the misconducts and this lack of clarity reduces the efficiency of the
students (Mgaiwa and Kapinga, 2021).

Steps needed for developing the games
Setting objectives: The first step in designing the game is deciding the objectives on
which the game is all about and making the objectives clear to all the students (Eaton,
2020). The main objective of me is developing the skills of the students through games
for which I have to plan so many things for different task.
Developing the concept: Then choosing the concepts to check what kind of game is
suitable by applying and checking different games, generated different games so that the
most appropriate one will be chosen. I selected the game which involves a lot of creative
thinking and communication skill with academic integrity.
Research on game: Then i did deep research on the chosen game so that the pros and
cons can be found out easily. It involves extensive research on the game and on the
students too more the students are interested more easy will be the execution of the game.
Research are done on the present learning methods and past learning methods and the
results of the students so that more appropriate method and task which involves creative
learning can be found (Denisova, 2017).
Building the game : After all the research the main work is to build the game by
arranging all the things, items, skills, number of students and the number of teachers
required to perform the task. I arranged all the equipments in proper way so that the
students do the task easily.
Organising the game: After all this planning I assigned the task to a group of student
first with group of teachers. Assigning the authority and responsibility to them and
providing the equipments for playing or doing the task in well established manner. For
each department i assigned two senior members for better control and discipline.
Observing and testing: Last step done taken is checking the accuracy of task or getting
the feedbacks from the teachers and students to know how it’s working. Taking
feedbacks from both teachers and students to know the quality and experience developed.
Observing whether this task is making them learning new things or not.

Difficulties in making and conducting the game
Time management: It takes a lot of time for me executing the plan arranging things and
making student understand the games. It is a time consuming process for planning,
arranging and executing things (Newton, 2016). Takes a lot of time for me grouping
students and teachers according to their interest and giving task according to their skills.
It takes a lot of my time for development of different skills with different students and
every student has different time for learning, some were taking so long some taking very
little time so it is difficult to calculate the average timings.
Less productivity: This task giving less productivity because the students and teachers
are not taking the game in a serious way they are enjoying the task rather than learning
and discovering new skills. They are frequently associated with leisure time then not
taking task seriously. They are taking the task as for fun and not giving much interest for
developing their skills.
Limited budget: This task required a lot of cost funding because the equipments and
tools required are too expensive which was for me hard to arrange. Different skills
required different equipment and tool which is not affordable at reasonable cost and due
to low budgets made me inflexible in decision taking (Miron, 2022). It was very hard for
me to arrange the funds for the task and without fund the task cannot run smoothly.
Arrangement of resources: Varieties of resources are required for different skills and
for arranging tools and equipments for task is a tough work. Because more advance
technology leads to great learning and required more budget it is hard for me to arrange
those things in a proper way (Ramdani, 2018). I have to use that property that may be
turned into educational use for better working.
Deciding the authority: It is confusing task to which the authority and responsibility
should be given. I have to assign different departments different task and authority to
supervise the students it should be given to the senior member but they were not doing
their work properly because they were taking this task for fun not for learning.
Skills developed during the designing of game
Communication skills: The main skill developed during the game is my communication
skills because for the task i have to interact with a lot of students and teachers. I have to

explain them daily how the work has to be done and what are the procedures and they
also communication with me their thoughts or ideas with that i became more social and
confident in communicating with them.
Critical thinking skills: For creating all the concept, rules and plans i have to think
beyond the limits(Okoye and et. Al., 2018). By planning this games and rules it helps me
to think with more creativity and with more new ideas because it requires deep thinking
and concentration about how the work will be done with more advance ideas and
techniques. It requires critical searching ability to observe each activity accurately.
Coordination skill: With the arrangement of the entire task my coordination skill
developed, i have to coordinate with different department with different task. I have to
coordinate the activities of all the volunteers and assign them the duties and they have to
coordinate with me if any problem arises.
Team working skill: By planning and arranging resources or team helps me to develop
my team spirit or working skills because i have to work with the team. As a Team we
have to work together for the group goals in a coordinating or effective way
( Voloshynov and et.al., 2020). All the activities should be coordinate with each other.
Leadership skills: By arranging and managing students my leadership skills also
increased and a lot of students got motivated with my work and behaviour towards them.
Because of my working skills students and volunteers started trusting on me and started
giving me all the feedbacks and progress. They all are treating me like a leader because
of my working skill and communication skills.
