INTRODUCTION
Every student wants to achieve success in their life and for getting that success they study
hard so that their grades can come good and they can excel in their University. Academic skills
are those skills in which students gets the ways that in which way they can study and how they
can solve the problems which they are facing in their studies(Wagner and et. al., 2021). In
general, academic skills are those which gives the technique to the students that in which way
they can study and how they can retain and learn all the things which are taught in the class. It
has been seen that when the students develops certain skills of academics that in that stage they
develop the sense of confidence as they identify that they can do the work on their own without
taking help from others. This report will cover description of academic integrity, importance of
academic integrity in higher education, implications of academic misconduct, difficulties which
have been faced in producing the game and skills which have been learned in the academic year
and those while producing the game.
SECTION- 1
Description of academic integrity
Academic integrity is the ethical policy which is applied in every educational institutions
and this is also applied for the students to behave in a ethical manner so that they can learn and
develop the knowledge in a better way. It has been seen that students usually takes those steps
which are easier for them in getting good grades but with this they does not understand that if
they will be involved in such type of activities then they would not be able to develop the
knowledge and any information (Wayment and Cavolo, 2019). Academic integrity is basically
the practice which is conducted by the educational institutions that there will not be any
academic misconduct which will be tolerated in their place. Usually students take the help of
cheating, plagiarism, misrepresenting the other people work as their own. These are some of the
methods which is used by the students in conducing any false representation just to gain good
grades. But with this they does not identify that doing such things will not give them any benefit
as they will not be getting any knowledge or information which is the most essential one(Lai and
et. al., 2021).

Doing any type of misconduct creates a false image of the University also because if the
institution is suffering from such type of problem then in the end they will not be allowed getting
any admission. The reason for this is people will be thinking that they are promoting such type of
things in their institution and with this the provision of getting any degree will be false also. So
each University and other educational institutions tries that such type of things are not conducted
because this can create hurdle in the success. On the other side, for the students also this is not a
good thing as they are creating problem for themselves only. They will not be able to learn new
things as they will be dependent on others for getting the things.
Importance of academic integrity in higher education
Education is that thing which helps the individual in developing their knowledge and
information which will be in the end helpful for them in their career. People study to get good
jobs or to start their own thing or others for which it is important for them to develop certain
knowledge because in every aspect of life they have to understand certain things which will be
provided to them by learning and developing their knowledge(Cruz, Barbosa-Ducharne and
Canário, 2020). It is important for the students to develop their basic education and learning on
the time which is required because in the future time they have to understand and develop their
career for which education plays an important role. This can be developed only when the
students are focusing on their work and studying because at some place of time students does not
pay attention to the things which they are doing and for that they chose those methods which will
help them in getting good grades.
For the University this has become the most important thing to make the policies on academic
integrity because with this students will take their focus towards those things for which the
University has made their rules(Chan, Botelho and Lam, 2021). If the educational institutions
will not be making such things for the students then in the end they have to face something by
which their goodwill can fall down. If they will do this then all the things will happen in a fair
way and their degrees will be helpful in showing towards other areas. For the students
developing the attitude in a honest and fair manner is important because in terms of taking their
degree this thing is very important because education will be used in their every area of life and
if they will not develop the knowledge then in the end they will not be able to identify or would
be able to chose their career correctly.

Implications of academic misconduct
Academic misconduct is a fraud or any false behaviour which is conducted by students
for their studies or for submitting their assignments(Salmela-Aro and Upadyaya, 2020). This is
used by the students for getting good grades in the exam and for this they use the methods of
doing cheating or doing any type of plagiarism in which they can get the good marks. But
considering such methods then this is not good for them as they have to face difficult
consequences of this and other than this they either have to pay the penalties for this. Doing any
type of academic misconduct is a violating activity which is unauthorized for the students also
and on the institutions in which they are studying (Fletcher and et. al., 2018). Students have to
face the issue of penalties or fines or they might stop their degree from giving and without the
degree they would not be able to do anything. But this will not only be made to the students but
also for the Universities also ion which they are studying as they have to face the issue of
penalties. But for the students cheating also has a social consequence in which they think that if
the students will be doing cheating while they are studying then there are chances that they can
cheat with their family also and the work which they will be doing in the future then at that stage
they can also cheat. Students would not be able to get good grades because plagiarism creates the
issue ability of not assessing the work in a proper way(Arteagoitia and Palomares, 2020). The
reason for this is students would not be getting the correct grades as it would be difficult for the
teachers itself to assess the performance of students as to what they have performed and on what
basis there grades has to be given and when there will be inaccurate assessment then in this case
they would not be getting the good grades and for this the other child with whom the work is
copied has to suffer the same thing and they might also caught for such things.
SECTION- 2
Steps taken and difficulties encountered in producing a game
It was the most difficult task for me to work for producing a game because with the
launch and basic working of a game there are other difficulties which I have faced. As I am
students in which I have to do study and with this I was making planning for the production of a
game and I these terminology there were some factors which I have considered created a trouble
for me and those are discussed below-

students in which I have to do study and with this I was making planning for the production of a
game and I these terminology there were some factors which I have considered created a trouble
for me and those are discussed below-
3

Featuring creep problem- The first and foremost which I have faced while launching a
game was the problem of not able to be satisfied with the plan and the game design which
I have developed. The motive of mine for launching a game was to work on the
plagiarism issue but with this the idea which I have developed and the method which I
founded was very different in which in the initial stage I was not satisfied. This thing
took lot of time of mine where in the end I was not able to start the thing and also have to
suffer for my studies.
Time management- While producing a game I was not in a position to make the
balancing of my work and my studies both because in developing a game my most of the
time was spent(Hammermeister and et. al., 2020). Developing an idea and to work on all
the thing in which a game is required to meet the standards my whole timing was not
managed in a correct way and because of this I have to suffer a lot for my studies.
Producing a game was my main idea but with this I was not able to learn that in which
way I can manage it.
Dealing with security concerns- With the launch of a game it is also important to
develop the things which will be helpful in providing security to the users. It was the
major responsibility of mine to develop the software which is having the full security.
Skills learned in the academic year and those which have learned in producing a game
There were certain skills which I have developed while I was studying and when I was launching
a game and those are discussed below-
Technical skills- This is the skill which I have developed when I launched the game in
which I developed the practical tasks which are required to be developed. I have
developed the software proficiency where I have founded that this thing helped me a lot.
Communication skills- Communication skills which I have developed during my
academic time is the most helpful one because of which I am now in a well off position to
develop good relations with people. Communication skills are important for not in during
the studies but also when the person is doing a job (Jairam, 2020). I have developed this
skills because to solve any of the issues which I have faced in my studies for this I have
to ask this with my teacher so that they can solve my problems.

Problem solving skills- This skill I have developed when I was preparing for my studies
and also when I was preparing the game application. Problem solving skill is developed
when the person is facing difficult and challenging situations and on the basis of that only
I have identified and now in a position to develop and provide the solutions which will
suit the best for that particular problem.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that academic skills are important for the
students as this helps them to get the ways that how they can study. Skills are also useful for the
students in getting the information of what has been taught in the class and how they can apply
the information in their studies. If the students will not be having any knowledge on the skills
then there are chances that they will not be perceiving any information which will make their
results poor. Academic skills are important and has to be learned by the students because this
will help in increasing their self confidence and on the other side their self esteem will also be
built.
