INTRODUCTION
Academic skills are considered as capability or talent of a person which are essential in
development of knowledge of an individual . The academic skills are important in both academic
and career related life of a person. It is compulsory for a person to gain growth in academic and
career life and to perform well an individual must develop academic skills. This report is having
two different sections in the 1st part explanation of academic integrity is described along with
importance of academic integrity in higher education. In 1st part of the report various impacts of
academic misconduct are explained in a precise manner. In the 2nd section of this report there is
a reflection on steps taken while producing a game and skills which are learnt by me during a
year.
Section 1
A brief overview and explanation of academic integrity
Academic integrity-Academic integrity is defined as the professionalism in personality
and mind of different students related to academic conduct (McGill, Heikkila and Lazarowicz,
2020). It is the major responsibility of teachers as well of the students to learn academic integrity
in order to get successful in life. In many institutions management and teachers focus on
improving academic integrity of students in order to train them well for the future. Most of the
successful institutes in academic life focus on developing academic skills which are related to
conduct of students. It is the ethical responsibility of students to maintain academic integrity in
academic life in order to take advantage of education. There are several students in the
universities who mainly take support of seniors and professors to develop academic integrity. In
recent times the importance of academic integrity is rising day by day. It is recommended for the
students learn academic conduct in order to gain competency edge.
Analysis of the significance of academic integrity in higher education
In higher education academic integrity play an important role which is necessary for
overall development of the students. Most of the educational institutes in academic life focus on
development of academic skills in order to develop higher education standard. Many institutes in
academic life mainly test the academic integrity in order to check conduct of the students.

Reflection on the measures taken and difficulties faced while producing the game
I encountered some problems in development of plagiarism game which was given to us
as a major task. I took the guidance from my seniors and students in order to perform various
tasks and activities. We developed a game which was related to identification of plagiarism in
order to follow guidelines of the university. I faced major problem in development of game
design in order to develop the game in a precise manner. Most of the times I took guidance from
seniors and they helped me in preparation of the game design. I also faced problem in managing
time with maximum efficiency in order to develop different actions and tasks (Darma, Suratman
and Susiaty, 2020). I learnt various time management techniques in order to manage time in a
crucial manner. In managing my team I also faced several issues of leadership in order to
develop major managerial techniques. I took the advice of my seniors and learnt democratic
leadership style in order to perform major operations related to decision making. I choose
democratic leadership style in order to formulate new decisions related to the functioning of my
project. I was earlier uncomfortable in working with other people which generally put an
emphasis on my working. I was also facing problem related to decision making so I took advice
teachers. There are various academic institutes which treats students on the basis of their
academic integrity. The implications of academic misconduct are mentioned below:

it is essential for me to develop strategy in the starting of preparation of game. It prepared the
strategy with the help of my team mates and they helped me in preparation of the game. In the
development of game I personally faced different issues like development of leadership skills. I
also faced problem in coordination and communication of my team members. It is the ethical
responsibility of myself to facilitate different strategies which are useful in development of the
plagiarism game (Abdelouahab, 2020). I also faced problem while managing my team members
which created a specific problem for communication. I learnt different communication skills in
order to manage my team members and they were also satisfied. I also took advantage of my
problem solving skills which helped me development of my project which was to prepare an
important plagiarism game.
Reflection on different skills learned in academic year
I am having a keen interest in academics since my childhood and I am interested to learn
and develop different skills in order to develop competency edge. During my academic year I
learnt various skills that are important in providing career growth. In the competitive world it is
major responsibility of a student to grab knowledge by the support of different teachers and
professors (Nesbitt, Fuhs and Farran, 2019). I learnt communication skills in my academic life
which helped me in establishing relationships with different friends and colleagues. In the
development of my personality communication skills played a major role. In the academic life I
also learnt problem solving skills which helped me in solving practical problems in general life.
In improving my problem solving skills I took guidance from various students and seniors. This
helped me encouraging importance of academic integrity. I also learnt various time management
skills which played an important role in development of general routine. I can manage my time
with the preparation of good time table. I was admired by time management skills since my
childhood in order to develop effectiveness in my performance. During my academic year I also
development of the plagiarism game and in the last days we just put emphasis on development of
