1.Definition of the concept of personal and professional development
Personal and professional development is process of lifelong learning and managing
growth throughout one's career. It involves continuous learning and developing their skills in
order to meet the challenges and desire goals and objectives, it also helps understanding one's
area of expertise for career.
2. Discuss the value of short-term goals with 3 personal examples
Setting proper goals helps an individual in personal and professional development. Short
term goals are define as something individual want to accomplish in the short period like today,
this week or maybe this month, these goals plays a very important role in personal and
professional development of an individual.
Examples of short-term goals includes:
• Improving communication skills
• Develop confidence
• Tracking monthly budget
• Submitting projects a week before the deadline
• Spending free time in studying or in the library.
3. Discuss the value of medium term goals with 3 personal examples
Medium term goals are define as something individual wants to achieve within time
period of two months to 3 years, these goals falls between the short-term and long term goals.
Examples of medium-term goals includes:
• Finding career goal
• Finding a good education for children's and helping them to grow
• Track, measures and achieve career growth.
4. Discuss the value of long term goals with 3 personal examples
Long term goals are something that individual aims to achieve in the future, theses goals
require proper planning and efforts in order to achieve them. Long term goals are achieved
within time period of 3 to 10 years.
Examples of long-term goals includes:
• Buying a house

• Helping charity's foundation
• Opening my own business and be my own boss
• Increasing investment of time, money, and resources
• Becoming a leader
5. Discuss value of Personal Development Plan with example
Personal development plan is the process of developing a plan on the basis of self
reflections and improvement, this plan includes what are the weakness of an individual and what
are the actions to be taken in order to overcome those weakness. Personal development plan is
process of enhancing personal qualities and improving their personality.

The CRAAP is an acronyms used for:
Currency - The information used is updated
Relevance - Information used should applicable for the research-oriented
Authority - The source of information, or the author of information
Accuracy - Determining the correctness, reliability of the content
Purpose – Reason for which information is collected or distributed.
